1 Potem PAN powiedział do Mojżesza:

And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:

2 Rozkaż synom Izraela i powiedz im: Gdy wejdziecie do ziemi Kanaan, to jest ziemia, która wam przypadnie jako dziedzictwo, ziemia Kanaan w swoich granicach;

Command the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, When, ye, are coming into the land of Canaan, this is the land which shall fall unto you, as an inheritance, even the land of Canaan, by the boundaries thereof.

3 Wasza południowa granica będzie od pustyni Syn wzdłuż granic Edomu, a granica południowa pobiegnie od brzegu Morza Słonego, od wschodu.

Ye shall therefore have a south corner, from the desert of Zin, on the side of Edom, —so shall ye have a south boundary, from the end of the salt sea, eastward:

4 Granica ta skręci od południa ku Maale-Akrabbim i pobiegnie aż do Syn, i dojdzie od południa do Kadesz-Barnea. Stamtąd pobiegnie do Chasar-Addar i przejdzie aż do Asmon.

and the boundary shall go round for you from the south towards the cliffs of Akrabbim, then cross over towards Zin, and the extension thereof shall be from the south to Kadesh-barnea, then shall it reach out to Hazar-addar, and cross over towards Azmon;

5 A ta granica skręci od Asmon aż do rzeki Egiptu, a skończy się przy morzu.

then shall the boundary turn round from Azmon towards the ravine of Egypt, —and the extension thereof shall be towards the sea.

6 Jako zachodnią granicę będziecie mieli Morze Wielkie – ono będzie waszą zachodnią granicą.

And, for a west boundary, —ye shall have the great sea, even a boundary, this, shall serve you as west boundary.

7 A to będzie wasza północna granica: od Morza Wielkiego wymierzycie sobie do góry Hor.

And, this, shall serve you as a north boundary, —From the great sea, ye shall draw a line for you to Mount Hor:

8 Potem od góry Hor wymierzycie granicę aż do wejścia do Hemat; a krańce tej granicy sięgną do Sedada.

From Mount Hor, ye shall draw a line to the entering in of Hamath, —and the extension of the boundary shall be towards Zedad:

9 Następnie granica ta pobiegnie aż do Zifronu, a skończy się w Chasar-Enan. To będzie wasza północna granica.

then shall the boundary reach out towards Ziphron, and the extension thereof, be to Hazar-enan. This, shall serve you as a north, boundary.

10 A wschodnią granicę wymierzycie od Chasar-Enan do Szefam.

Then shall ye draw for yourselves a line, for an east boundary, —from Hazar-enan towards Shepham;

11 Granica ta pobiegnie od Szefam aż do Ribla, od wschodu Ain; i ta granica zejdzie w dół, i dosięgnie brzegu morza Kinneret od wschodu.

and the boundary shall go down from Shepham towards Riblah, on the east of Ain—then shall the boundary go down and strike on the side of the Sea of Chinnereth, eastward:

12 Następnie ta granica zejdzie ku Jordanowi, a zakończy się przy Morzu Słonym. To będzie wasza ziemia ze swymi granicami wokoło.

then shall the boundary go down towards the Jordan, and the extension thereof be to the salt sea. This shall be your land by the boundaries thereof round about.

13 Wtedy Mojżesz rozkazał synom Izraela: To jest ziemia, którą odziedziczycie przez losowanie, którą PAN rozkazał dać dziewięciu i pół pokoleniu.

And Moses commanded the sons of Israel saying, —This, is the land, which ye shall inherit by lot, which Yahweh had commanded to be given to the nine tribes and the half tribe.

14 Bo pokolenie synów Rubena według domów swych ojców i pokolenie synów Gada według domów swych ojców już otrzymały swoje dziedzictwo i połowa pokolenia Manassesa już otrzymała swoje dziedzictwo.

For the tribe of the sons of the Reubenites by their ancestral house, and the tribe of the sons of Gad, by their ancestral house, have received, and, the half tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance:

15 Te dwa i pół pokolenia otrzymały swoje dziedzictwo po tej stronie Jordanu, naprzeciw Jerycha, na wschodzie.

the two tribes, and the half tribe, have received their inheritance—on this side Jordan near Jericho, eastwards, towards sunrise.

16 I PAN powiedział do Mojżesza:

Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

17 Oto imiona mężczyzn, którzy rozdzielą wam ziemię: kapłan Eleazar i Jozue, syn Nuna.

These, are the names of the men who shall receive for you the land, as an inheritance, Eleazar, the priest, and Joshua, son of Nun.

18 Weźmiecie też po jednym naczelniku z każdego pokolenia do rozdzielenia ziemi w dziedzictwo.

Also, one prince from each tribe, shall ye take to receive the land, as an inheritance.

19 A oto imiona tych mężczyzn: z pokolenia Judy – Kaleb, syn Jefunnego.

These, therefore, are the names of the men, —For the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;

20 Z pokolenia synów Symeona – Samuel, syn Ammihuda.

And, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemuel son of Ammihud:

21 Z pokolenia Beniamina – Eliad, syn Kislona.

For the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon;

22 Z pokolenia synów Dana – naczelnik Bukki, syn Jogliego.

And, for the tribe of the sons of Dan, a prince—Bukki, son of Jogli:

23 Z synów Józefa, z pokolenia synów Manassesa – naczelnik Channiel, syn Efoda;

For the sons of Joseph, For the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, a prince, —Hanniel son of Ephod;

24 A z pokolenia synów Efraima – naczelnik Kemuel, syn Sziftana.

And, for the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, a prince, —Kemuel, son of Shiphtan;

25 Z pokolenia Zebulona – naczelnik Elisafan, syn Parnacha.

And, for the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, a prince, —Elizaphan, son of Parnach;

26 Z pokolenia synów Issachara – naczelnik Paltiel, syn Azzana.

And, for the tribe of the sons of Issachar, a prince, —Paltiel son of Azzan;

27 Z pokolenia synów Aszera – naczelnik Achihud, syn Szelomiego.

And, for the tribe of the sons of Asher, a prince, —Ahihud son of Shelomi:

28 A z pokolenia synów Neftalego – naczelnik Pedahel, syn Ammihuda.

And, for the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, a prince, —Pedahel, son of Ammihud.

29 To są ci, którym PAN rozkazał rozdzielić dziedzictwo synom Izraela w ziemi Kanaan.

These, are they whom Yahweh hath commanded to receive for the sons of Israel their inheritance, in the land of Canaan.
