Liczb 12

1 Wtedy Miriam i Aaron mówili [źle] przeciwko Mojżeszowi z powodu etiopskiej kobiety, którą pojął. Pojął bowiem za żonę Etiopkę;

Afterward Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses, because of the woman of Ethiopia whome hee had maried (for hee had married a woman of Ethiopia)

2 I mówili: Czy PAN przemawiał tylko przez Mojżesza? Czy nie przemawiał też przez nas? A PAN to usłyszał.

And they saide, What? hath the Lord spoken but onely by Moses? hath he not spoken also by vs? and the Lord heard this.

3 A Mojżesz był człowiekiem bardzo pokornym, najbardziej ze wszystkich ludzi, którzy [żyli] na ziemi.

(But Moses was a verie meeke man, aboue all the men that were vpon the earth)

4 I nagle PAN powiedział do Mojżesza, Aarona i Miriam: Wyjdźcie we troje do Namiotu Zgromadzenia. I wyszli we troje.

And by and by the Lord sayd vnto Moses, and vnto Aaron, and vnto Miriam, come out yee three vnto the Tabernacle of the Congregation: and they three came forth.

5 Wtedy PAN zstąpił w słupie obłoku, stanął u wejścia do namiotu i wezwał Aarona i Miriam; a oni przyszli oboje.

Then the Lord came downe in the pillar of the cloude, and stoode in the doore of the Tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam, and they both came forth.

6 I powiedział [do nich]: Słuchajcie teraz moich słów: Jeśli będzie wśród was prorok, ja, PAN, objawię mu się w widzeniu, będę mówił do niego we śnie.

And hee saide, Heare nowe my wordes, If there be a Prophet of the Lord among you, I will be knowen to him by a vision, and will speake vnto him by dreame.

7 Lecz nie tak jest z moim sługą Mojżeszem, który [jest] wierny w całym moim domu.

My seruant Moses is not so, who is faithfull in all mine house.

8 Z ust do ust mówię do niego, jawnie, a nie w zagadkach; on ogląda postać PANA. Dlaczego nie baliście się mówić [źle] przeciwko memu słudze Mojżeszowi?

Vnto him will I speake mouth to mouth, and by vision, and not in darke wordes, but hee shall see the similitude of the Lord. Wherefore then were ye not afraid to speake against my seruant, euen against Moses?

9 I zapłonął gniew PANA przeciwko nim, i odszedł.

Thus the Lord was very angrie with them, and departed.

10 Obłok także odstąpił znad namiotu i oto Miriam stała się trędowata, [biała] jak śnieg. Gdy Aaron spojrzał na Miriam, oto była trędowata.

Also the cloude departed from the Tabernacle: and beholde, Miriam was leprous like snowe: and Aaron looked vpon Miriam, and beholde, she was leprous.

11 Wtedy Aaron powiedział do Mojżesza: Ach, mój panie! Proszę, nie poczytaj nam tego grzechu, że głupio postąpiliśmy i zgrzeszyliśmy.

Then Aaron saide vnto Moses, Alas, my Lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sinne vpon vs, which we haue foolishly committed and wherein we haue sinned.

12 Niech ona nie będzie jak martwy [płód], którego ciało jest już na wpół rozłożone, gdy wychodzi z łona swojej matki.

Let her not, I pray thee, be as one dead, of whome the flesh is halfe consumed, when he commeth out of his mothers wombe.

13 Wtedy Mojżesz zawołał do PANA: Boże, proszę, uzdrów ją teraz.

Then Moses cryed vnto the Lord, saying, O God, I beseech thee, heale her nowe.

14 I PAN odpowiedział Mojżeszowi: Gdyby jej ojciec plunął jej w twarz, czyż nie musiałaby się wstydzić przez siedem dni? Niech przez siedem dni będzie wyłączona z obozu, a potem zostanie przyjęta.

And the Lord said vnto Moses, If her father had spit in her face, shoulde she not haue bene ashamed seuen dayes? let her be shut out of the hoste seuen dayes, and after she shall bee receiued.

15 I Miriam została wyłączona z obozu na siedem dni. Lud jednak nie wyruszył, póki Miriam nie została przyjęta.

So Miriam was shut out of the hoste seuen dayes, and the people remooued not, till Miriam was brought in againe.

16 Potem lud wyruszył z Chaserot i rozbił obóz na pustyni Paran.

Then afterwarde the people remooued from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wildernesse of Paran.
