Mateusza 28
1 A gdy skończył się szabat i świtało pierwszego [dnia] tygodnia, Maria Magdalena i druga Maria przyszły obejrzeć grób.
And the sabbath being over, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary the Magdalene, and the other Mary, to view the sepulchre.
2 A oto powstało wielkie trzęsienie ziemi. Anioł Pana bowiem, zstąpiwszy z nieba, podszedł, odwalił kamień od wejścia i usiadł na nim.
And, lo! there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled away the stone, and sat upon it.
3 Jego oblicze było jak błyskawica, a jego szaty białe jak śnieg.
His appearance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow.
4 A strażnicy drżeli ze strachu i stali się jak umarli.
And for fear of him the keepers shook, and became as dead men.
5 Anioł zaś powiedział do kobiet: Wy się nie bójcie! Wiem bowiem, że szukacie ukrzyżowanego Jezusa.
And the angel answering said to the women, Fear ye not; for I know that ye are seeking Jesus, who was crucified.
6 Nie ma go tu. Powstał bowiem, jak powiedział. Chodźcie, zobaczcie miejsce, gdzie leżał Pan.
He is not here; for he hath risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.
7 Idźcie szybko i powiedzcie jego uczniom, że zmartwychwstał i oto udaje się do Galilei przed wami. Tam go ujrzycie. Oto wam powiedziałem.
And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he hath risen from the dead, and, lo! he is going before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him. Lo! I have told you.
8 Odeszły więc szybko od grobu z bojaźnią i z wielką radością i pobiegły przekazać to jego uczniom.
And they went away quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.
9 Kiedy szły przekazać to jego uczniom, nagle Jezus wyszedł im na spotkanie i powiedział: Witajcie! A one podeszły, objęły go za nogi i oddały mu pokłon.
And lo! Jesus met them, saying, All hail! And they went up, and laid hold of his feet, and knelt down before him.
10 Wtedy Jezus powiedział do nich: Nie bójcie się! Idźcie, powiedzcie moim braciom, aby poszli do Galilei. Tam mnie ujrzą.
Then Jesus saith to them, Be not afraid; go, tell my brethren to depart into Galilee, and there they shall see me.
11 A gdy one poszły, niektórzy ze straży przyszli do miasta i oznajmili naczelnym kapłanom wszystko, co się stało.
And as they were going, lo! some of the guard came into the city, and told the chief priests all that had taken place.
12 Ci zaś zebrali się ze starszymi i naradziwszy się, dali żołnierzom sporo pieniędzy;
And having assembled with the elders, and taken counsel together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,
13 I powiedzieli: Mówcie, że jego uczniowie przyszli w nocy i wykradli go, gdy spaliście.
saying, Say, His disciples came by night, and stole him away, while we slept.
14 A gdyby to doszło do namiestnika, my go przekonamy, a wam zapewnimy bezpieczeństwo.
And should the governor hear of this, we will persuade him, and make you secure.
15 Wzięli więc pieniądze i zrobili, jak ich pouczono. I rozniosła się ta wieść wśród Żydów, i trwa aż do dziś.
So they took the money, and did as they were taught. And this story hath been commonly reported among the Jews to this day.
16 Potem jedenastu uczniów poszło do Galilei na górę, na którą Jezus im polecił.
And the eleven disciples went into Galilee, into the mountain, where Jesus had directed them.
17 A gdy go ujrzeli, oddali mu pokłon. Niektórzy jednak wątpili.
And when they saw him, they knelt down before him; but some doubted.
18 Wtedy Jezus podszedł i powiedział do nich: Dana mi jest wszelka władza na niebie i na ziemi.
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, All power was given to me in heaven and on earth.
19 Idźcie więc i nauczajcie wszystkie narody, chrzcząc je w imię Ojca i Syna, i Ducha Świętego;
Go, and make all nations my disciples, baptizing them into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit;
