1 Juda, sługa Jezusa Chrystusa, a brat Jakuba, do uświęconych przez Boga Ojca, zachowanych w Jezusie Chrystusie i powołanych:
Jude, Jesus Christ’s servant, and brother of James, unto, the called, by God the Father, beloved, and, by Jesus Christ preserved, —
2 Miłosierdzie, pokój i miłość niech się wam pomnożą.
Mercy to you, and peace, and love, be multiplied!
3 Umiłowani, podejmując usilne starania, aby pisać wam o wspólnym zbawieniu, uznałem za konieczne napisać do was i zachęcić do walki o wiarę raz przekazaną świętym.
Beloved! though I was using all diligence to be writing unto you concerning our common salvation, yet have I had necessity to write at once unto you, exhorting you to be earnestly contending for, the faith, once for all delivered unto the saints.
4 Wkradli się bowiem pewni ludzie, od dawna przeznaczeni na to potępienie, bezbożni, którzy łaskę naszego Boga zamieniają na rozpustę i wypierają się jedynego Pana Boga i naszego Pana Jezusa Chrystusa.
For there have crept in unobserved certain men, who, from of old, have been publicly notified for this sentence, ungodly, men, the favour of our God, turning into wantonness, and, our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ, denying.
5 Chcę więc wam przypomnieć, chociaż już kiedyś o tym wiedzieliście, że Pan, który wybawił lud z ziemi Egiptu, potem wytracił tych, którzy nie uwierzyli.
I am minded, therefore, to put you in remembrance, —though ye know all things once for all, That the Lord, when a people out of Egypt he had saved, in, the next place, them that believed not, destroyed.
6 Także aniołów, którzy nie zachowali swego pierwotnego stanu, lecz opuścili własne mieszkanie, zatrzymał w wiecznych pętach w ciemnościach na sąd wielkiego dnia. (aïdios g126)
Messengers also, even them who had not kept their own principality, but had forsaken their proper dwelling, unto the judgment of the great day in perpetual bonds under thick gloom, hath he reserved. (aïdios g126)
7 Tak samo Sodoma i Gomora oraz okoliczne miasta, które w podobny sposób jak i one oddały się nierządowi i podążały za cudzym ciałem, służą za przykład, ponosząc karę wiecznego ognia. (aiōnios g166)
As, Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them, having in like manner to these given themselves over to fornication, and gone away after other kind of flesh, lie exposed as an example, a penalty of age-abiding fire, undergoing. (aiōnios g166)
8 Podobnie ci [ludzie] rojący sny plugawią ciało, gardzą panowaniem i bluźnią przełożonym.
In like manner, nevertheless, even these, in their dreamings, flesh indeed defile, while lordship they set aside, and dignities they defame.
9 Lecz archanioł Michał, rozprawiając z diabłem, spierał się o ciało Mojżesza, nie ośmielił się wypowiedzieć [przeciwko niemu] bluźnierczego oskarżenia, ale powiedział: Niech cię Pan zgromi.
Whereas, Michael, the chief-messenger, when, with the adversary, disputing, he was reasoning about the body of Moses, durst not impose on him a defamatory sentence, but said—The Lord rebuke thee!
10 Ci zaś bluźnią przeciwko temu, czego nie znają, a to, co znają w sposób naturalny, jak bezrozumne zwierzęta, w tym psują samych siebie.
But, these, whatsoever things, indeed, they know not, they defame; but, whatsoever things, naturally, like the irrational creatures, they well understand, by these, are they, bringing themselves to ruin.
11 Biada im, bo poszli drogą Kaina, udali się za błędem Baalama dla zapłaty i zginęli w buncie Korego.
Alas for them! because—in the way of Cain have they gone, and, in the error of Balaam’s wage, have they run riot, and, in the gainsaying of Korah, have they perished.
12 Oni są zakałami na waszych ucztach braterskich, którzy z wami bez bojaźni ucztują, pasąc samych siebie. Są to bezwodne chmury wiatrami unoszone; drzewa zwiędłe, bez owoców, dwukrotnie obumarłe i wykorzenione;
These are they—who, in your love-feasts, are hidden rocks, as they fare sumptuously together, fearlessly, themselves, shepherding, —clouds without water, by winds swept along, trees autumnal, fruitless, twice dead, uprooted,
13 Rozhukane fale morskie wypluwające swoją hańbę; błąkające się gwiazdy, dla których mroki ciemności zachowane są na wieki. (aiōn g165)
Wild waves of sea, foaming out their own infamies, wandering stars, for whom the gloom of darkness age-abiding hath been reserved. (aiōn g165)
14 O nich też prorokował Henoch, siódmy po Adamie, mówiąc: Oto idzie Pan z tysiącami swoich świętych;
But the seventh from Adam, Enoch, prophesied, even of these, saying—Lo! the Lord hath come with his holy myriads, —
15 Aby dokonać sądu nad wszystkimi i ukarać wszystkich bezbożników spośród nich za wszystkie ich bezbożne czyny, których się bezbożnie dopuścili, i za wszystkie ostre [słowa], które wypowiadali przeciwko niemu bezbożni grzesznicy.
To execute judgment against all, and to convict all the ungodly—of all their works of ungodliness, which they committed in ungodliness, and of all the hard things which they have spoken against him—sinners, ungodly!
16 Oni to zawsze szemrają, narzekają, postępują według swoich pożądliwości. Ich usta wypowiadają zuchwałe [słowa] i schlebiają ludziom dla korzyści.
These, are murmurers, complainers, according to their covetings, going on, —and, their mouth, speaketh great swelling words, —holding persons in admiration, for profit’s sake.
17 Wy zaś, umiłowani, pamiętajcie słowa wcześniej wypowiedziane przez apostołów naszego Pana Jezusa Chrystusa;
But, ye, beloved! remember the things which were foretold by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,
18 Gdy mówili do was, że w czasach ostatecznych pojawią się szydercy, postępujący według własnych bezbożnych pożądliwości.
How that they used to say to you—In the last time, there shall be mockers, —according to their own ungodly covetings, going on.
19 Oni są tymi, którzy sami się odłączają, zmysłowi, niemający Ducha.
These, are they who make complete separation, mere men of soul, Spirit, not possessing.
20 Wy jednak, umiłowani, budując samych siebie na waszej najświętszej wierze, modląc się w Duchu Świętym;
But, ye, beloved! building yourselves up in your most holy faith, in Holy Spirit, praying,
21 Zachowajcie samych siebie w miłości Boga, oczekując miłosierdzia naszego Pana Jezusa Chrystusa ku życiu wiecznemu. (aiōnios g166)
Yourselves, in God’s love, keep, —awaiting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, unto age-abiding life. (aiōnios g166)
22 I rozróżniając, nad jednymi zmiłujcie się;
And, on some, indeed, have mercy, —such as are in doubt, be saving, out of the fire, snatching them;
23 Innych zaś ratujcie przez strach, wyrywając ich z ognia, mając w nienawiści nawet szatę, która została skalana przez ciało.
But, on others, have mercy with fear, hating even, the garment, spotted by the flesh.
24 A temu, który może was ustrzec od upadku i z radością przedstawić jako nienagannych przed obliczem swojej chwały;
Now, unto him who is able—to guard you from stumbling, and to set you in the presence of his glory, without blemish, with exultation, —
25 Jedynemu mądremu Bogu, naszemu Zbawicielowi, [niech będzie] chwała i majestat, moc i władza, teraz i po wszystkie wieki. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Unto God alone our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, greatness, dominion, and authority, before all the [by-gone] age, and now, and unto all the [coming] ages. Amen! (aiōn g165)
