Jeremiasza 27

1 Na początku królowania Joakima, syna Jozjasza, króla Judy, doszło to słowo do Jeremiasza od PANA mówiące:

In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from YHWH, saying,

2 Tak mówi do mnie PAN: Sporządź sobie więzy i jarzma i nałóż je na swoją szyję;

Thus saith YHWH to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck,

3 Potem poślij je do króla Edomu, do króla Moabu, do króla Ammonitów, do króla Tyru i do króla Sydonu przez posłańców, którzy przyjdą do Jerozolimy, do Sedekiasza, króla Judy;

And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah;

4 I rozkaż im, aby swym panom powiedzieli: Tak mówi PAN zastępów, Bóg Izraela. Tak powiecie swym panom:

And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith YHWH of hosts, the Elohim of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters;

5 Ja uczyniłem ziemię, człowieka i zwierzęta, które są na powierzchni ziemi, swoją wielką mocą i wyciągniętym ramieniem, i daję temu, który w moich oczach ma upodobanie.

I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.

6 A teraz dałem te wszystkie ziemie do rąk Nabuchodonozora, króla Babilonu, mego sługi; oddałem mu nawet zwierzęta polne, aby mu służyły.

And now have I given all these lands unto the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.

7 Dlatego będą mu służyły te wszystkie narody, jego synowi i synowi jego syna, aż nadejdzie czas na jego ziemię. Wtedy ujarzmią go liczne narody i wielcy królowie.

And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.

8 A ten naród i to królestwo, które nie będzie służyło Nabuchodonozorowi, królowi Babilonu, i które nie podda swego karku pod jarzmo króla Babilonu, taki naród nawiedzę mieczem, głodem i zarazą, mówi PAN, aż wytracę je jego ręką.

And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith YHWH, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.

9 Dlatego nie słuchajcie swoich proroków, wróżbitów ani tych, co mają sny, ani swoich wróżbiarzy, ani swoich czarowników, którzy wam mówią: Nie będziecie służyć królowi Babilonu.

Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:

10 Oni bowiem prorokują wam kłamstwo, aby was oddalić od waszej ziemi, abym was wygnał i abyście poginęli.

For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.

11 A naród, który podda swój kark pod jarzmo króla Babilonu i będzie mu służył, ten pozostawię w jego ziemi, mówi PAN, aby ją uprawiał i mieszkał w niej.

But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith YHWH; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.

12 A do Sedekiasza, króla Judy, powiedziałem zgodnie ze wszystkimi tymi słowami: Poddajcie swoje karki pod jarzmo króla Babilonu i służcie mu i jego ludowi, a będziecie żyć.

I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.

13 Czemu macie zginąć, ty i twój lud, od miecza, od głodu i od zarazy, jak mówił PAN o narodzie, który nie chce służyć królowi Babilonu?

Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as YHWH hath spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?

14 Nie słuchajcie więc słów tych proroków, którzy mówią do was: Nie będziecie służyć królowi Babilonu. Oni bowiem prorokują wam kłamstwo.

Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.

15 Nie posłałem ich, mówi PAN, a jednak oni prorokują kłamliwie w moje imię, abym was wypędził i abyście zginęli, wy i prorocy, którzy wam prorokują.

For I have not sent them, saith YHWH, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.

16 Także do kapłanów i do całego ludu powiedziałem: Tak mówi PAN: Nie słuchajcie słów swoich proroków, którzy prorokują wam, mówiąc: Oto naczynia domu PANA zostaną już wkrótce przywrócone z Babilonu. Oni bowiem prorokują wam kłamstwo.

Also I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith YHWH; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of YHWH 's house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.

17 Nie słuchajcie ich, służcie królowi Babilonu, a będziecie żyć. Czemu to miasto miałoby stać się ruiną?

Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: wherefore should this city be laid waste?

18 A jeśli oni są prorokami i jeśli słowo PANA jest u nich, proszę, niech wstawią się u PANA zastępów, aby te naczynia, które pozostały w domu PANA, w domu króla Judy i w Jerozolimie, nie dostały się do Babilonu.

But if they be prophets, and if the word of YHWH be with them, let them now make intercession to YHWH of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of YHWH, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.

19 Tak bowiem mówi PAN zastępów o tych kolumnach, o morzu, o podstawkach i reszcie naczyń, które pozostały w tym mieście;

For thus saith YHWH of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city,

20 Których nie zabrał Nabuchodonozor, król Babilonu, gdy uprowadził do niewoli Jechoniasza, syna Joakima, króla Judy, z Jerozolimy do Babilonu, oraz wszystkich dostojników z Judy i Jerozolimy.

Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took not, when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem;

21 Tak mówi PAN zastępów, Bóg Izraela, o tych naczyniach, które pozostały w domu PANA, w domu króla Judy i w Jerozolimie:

Yea, thus saith YHWH of hosts, the Elohim of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of YHWH, and in the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem;

22 Zostaną zawiezione do Babilonu i będą tam aż do dnia, w którym upomnę się o nie, mówi PAN. Wtedy sprowadzę je i przywrócę na to miejsce.

They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith YHWH; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.
