Jeremiasza 11
1 Słowo, które doszło do Jeremiasza od PANA, mówiące:
The word that was maad of the Lord to Jeremye,
2 Słuchajcie słów tego przymierza i mówcie do mężczyzn Judy i do mieszkańców Jerozolimy;
and seide, Here ye the wordis of this couenaunt, and speke ye to the men of Juda, and to the dwelleris of Jerusalem; and thou schalt seie to hem,
3 Powiedz do nich: Tak mówi PAN, Bóg Izraela: Przeklęty ten człowiek, który nie posłucha słów tego przymierza;
The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, Cursid be the man that herith not the wordis of this couenaunt,
4 Które nakazałem waszym ojcom w dniu, kiedy wyprowadziłem ich z ziemi Egiptu, z pieca do topienia żelaza, mówiąc: Słuchajcie mojego głosu i czyńcie to wszystko, co wam nakazuję; i będziecie moim ludem, a ja będę waszym Bogiem;
which Y comaundide to youre fadris, in the dai in which Y ledde hem out of the lond of Egipt, fro the irone furneis; and Y seide, Here ye my vois, and do ye alle thingis whiche Y comaundide to you, and ye schulen be in to a puple to me, and Y schal be in to God to you;
5 Abym mógł wypełnić przysięgę, którą złożyłem waszym ojcom, że dam im ziemię opływającą mlekiem i miodem, jak to jest dzisiaj. A ja odpowiedziałem: Amen, PANIE!
that Y reise the ooth which Y swoor to youre fadris, that Y schulde yyue to hem a lond flowynge with mylk and hony, as this dai is. And Y answeride, and seide, Amen, Lord.
6 I PAN powiedział do mnie: Głoś wszystkie te słowa w miastach Judy i po ulicach Jerozolimy, mówiąc: Słuchajcie słów tego przymierza i wypełniajcie je.
And the Lord seide to me, Crye thou alle these wordis in the citees of Juda, and with out Jerusalem, and seie thou, Here ye the wordis of this couenaunt, and do ye tho;
7 Usilnie bowiem ostrzegałem waszych ojców od dnia, kiedy wyprowadziłem ich z ziemi Egiptu, aż do dziś, z wczesnym wstawaniem i ostrzeganiem, mówiąc: Słuchajcie mego głosu.
for Y witnessynge haue witnessid to youre fadris, in the dai in which Y ledde hem out of the lond of Egipt, `til to this dai; Y roos eerli, and witnesside, and seide, Here ye my vois.
8 Oni jednak nie usłuchali ani nie nakłonili swego ucha, ale każdy postępował według uporu swego złego serca. Dlatego sprowadziłem na nich wszystkie słowa tego przymierza, które nakazałem im wypełniać, a nie wypełnili.
And thei herden not, nether bowiden doun her eere, but thei yeden forth ech man in the schrewidnesse of his yuel herte; and Y brouyte in on hem alle the wordis of this couenaunt, which Y comaundide that thei schulden do, and thei diden not.
9 I PAN powiedział do mnie: Znalazł się spisek wśród mężczyzn Judy i mieszkańców Jerozolimy.
And the Lord seide to me, Sweryng togidere is foundun in the men of Juda, and in the dwelleris of Jerusalem;
10 Wrócili do nieprawości swoich przodków, którzy nie chcieli słuchać moich słów; poszli i oni za innymi bogami, aby im służyć. Dom Izraela i dom Judy złamały moje przymierze, które zawarłem z ich ojcami.
thei turneden ayen to the formere wickidnessis of her fadris, that nolden here my wordis; and therfor these men yeden aftir alien goddis, for to serue hem; the hous of Israel and the hous of Juda maden voide my couenaunt, which Y made with the fadris of hem.
11 Dlatego tak mówi PAN: Oto sprowadzę na nich nieszczęście, z którego nie będą mogli się wydostać; a choćby wołali do mnie, nie wysłucham ich.
Wherfor the Lord seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal bringe in on hem yuels, of whiche thei schulen not mow go out; and thei schulen crie to me, and Y schal not here hem.
12 I pójdą miasta Judy i mieszkańcy Jerozolimy i będą wołać do bogów, którym palą kadzidło, lecz oni wcale ich nie wybawią w czasie ich utrapienia.
And the citees of Juda and the dwellers of Jerusalem schulen go, and schulen crye to hem, to whiche thei offren sacrifices; and thei schulen not saue hem in the tyme of her turment.
13 Ile bowiem [jest] twoich miast, [tylu] twoich bogów, Judo! Ile ulic w Jerozolimie, tyle wznieśliście ołtarzy obrzydliwości, ołtarzy do palenia kadzidła Baalowi.
For thou, Juda, thi goddis weren bi the noumbre of thi citees, and thou settidist auters of schenschipe, bi the noumbre of the weies of Jerusalem, auters to offre sacrifices to Baalym.
14 Dlatego ty się nie módl za ten lud i nie zanoś za niego wołania ani modlitwy, bo ja go nie wysłucham, gdy do mnie będzie wołać w czasie swego utrapienia.
Therfor nyle thou preie for this puple, and take thou not heriyng and preier for hem; for Y schal not here in the tyme of the cry of hem to me, in the tyme of the turment of hem.
15 Cóż chce moja umiłowana w moim domu, skoro bez wstydu dopuściła się sprośności z wieloma, a ofiary święte odeszły od ciebie? Radujesz się, gdy czynisz zło.
What is it, that my derlyng doith many greet trespassis in myn hous? whether hooli fleischis schulen do awei fro thee thi malice, in which thou hast glorie?
16 PAN nazwał cię zielonym drzewem oliwnym, pięknym, [dającym] piękny owoc, [ale] wśród huku wielkiej burzy rozpalił nad nim ogień, połamane są jego gałęzie.
The Lord clepide thi name an olyue tre, fair, ful of fruyt, schapli; at the vois of a greet speche fier brent an hiy ther ynne, and the buyschis therof ben brent.
17 PAN zastępów bowiem, który cię zasadził, zapowiedział przeciwko tobie to nieszczęście z powodu niegodziwości domu Izraela i domu Judy, którą popełniły na własną szkodę, aby mnie pobudzać do gniewu, paląc kadzidło Baalowi.
And the Lord of oostis that plauntide thee, spak yuel on thee, for the yuels of the hous of Israel, and of the hous of Juda, whiche thei diden to hem silf, and offriden to Baalym, to terre me to wraththe.
18 A PAN oznajmił mi to i zrozumiałem; wtedy ukazałeś mi ich uczynki.
Forsothe, Lord, thou schewidist to me, and Y knew; thou schewidist to me the studies of hem.
19 Ja zaś byłem jak baranek [i] wół prowadzony na rzeź, bo nie wiedziałem, że przeciwko mnie knuli zamysły, [mówiąc]: Zniszczmy drzewo wraz z jego owocem i wykorzeńmy go z ziemi żyjących, aby jego imię już nie było wspominane.
And Y am as a mylde lomb, which is borun to slayn sacrifice; and Y knew not, that thei thouyten counsels on me, and seiden, Sende we a tre in to the brede of hym, and rase we hym awei fro the lond of lyueris, and his name be no more hadde in mynde.
20 Lecz, PANIE zastępów, który sądzisz sprawiedliwie i badasz nerki i serca, niech zobaczę twoją pomstę nad nimi. Wyjawiłem ci bowiem swoją sprawę.
But thou, Lord of oostis, that demest iustli, and preuest reynes and hertis, se Y thi veniaunce of hem; for to thee Y schewide my cause.
21 Dlatego tak mówi PAN o mężczyznach z Anatot, którzy nastają na twoje życie i mówią: Nie prorokuj w imię PANA, abyś nie zginął z naszej ręki.
Therfor the Lord seith these thingis to the men of Anathot, that seken thi lijf, and seien, Thou schalt not prophesie in the name of the Lord, and thou schalt not die in oure hondis.
22 Dlatego tak mówi PAN zastępów: Oto nawiedzę ich; [ich] młodzieńcy zginą od miecza, ich synowie i córki umrą z głodu.
Therfor the Lord of oostis seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal visite on hem; the yonge men of hem schulen die bi swerd, the sones of hem and the douytris of hem schulen die for hungur;
23 I nikt z nich nie zostanie, bo sprowadzę nieszczęście na ludzi z Anatot w roku ich nawiedzenia.
and no relifs, ether children abidynge, schulen be of hem; for Y schal bringe ynne yuel on the men of Anathot, the yeer of the visitacioun of hem.
