Izajasza 56
1 Tak mówi PAN: Strzeżcie sądu i czyńcie sprawiedliwość, bo bliskie jest nadejście mojego zbawienia i objawienie się mojej sprawiedliwości.
Thus saith the LORD: Keep ye justice, and do righteousness; for My salvation is near to come, and My favour to be revealed.
2 Błogosławiony człowiek, który to czyni, i syn człowieczy, który się tego trzyma, który przestrzega szabatu, aby go nie bezcześcić, który strzeże swej ręki, aby nie czyniła nic złego.
Happy is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that holdeth fast by it: that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
3 Niech więc nie mówi cudzoziemiec, który przyłączył się do PANA: PAN na pewno odłączył mnie od swego ludu. Niech też eunuch nie mówi: Oto jestem suchym drzewem.
Neither let the alien, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying: 'The LORD will surely separate me from His people'; neither let the eunuch say: 'Behold, I am a dry tree.'
4 Tak bowiem mówi PAN o eunuchach, którzy przestrzegają moich szabatów i wybierają to, co mi się podoba, i trzymają się mojego przymierza:
For thus saith the LORD concerning the eunuchs that keep My sabbaths, and choose the things that please Me, and hold fast by My covenant:
5 Dam im miejsce w swoim domu i w swoich murach oraz imię lepsze od synów i córek; dam im imię wieczne, które nie będzie zgładzone.
Even unto them will I give in My house and within My walls a monument and a memorial better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting memorial, that shall not be cut off.
6 A cudzoziemców, którzy przyłączyli się do PANA, aby mu służyć, miłować imię PANA i być jego sługami, wszystkich przestrzegających szabatu, by go nie bezcześcić, i trzymających się mojego przymierza;
Also the aliens, that join themselves to the LORD, to minister unto Him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be His servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and holdeth fast by My covenant:
7 Tych przyprowadzę na swoją świętą górę i rozraduję ich w swoim domu modlitwy. Ich całopalenia i ofiary będą przyjęte na moim ołtarzu, bo mój dom będzie nazywany domem modlitwy dla wszystkich narodów.
Even them will I bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer; their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices shall be acceptable upon Mine altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.
8 Tak mówi Pan BÓG, który gromadzi rozproszonych z Izraela: Jeszcze [innych] zgromadzę do niego i do jego zgromadzonych.
Saith the Lord GOD who gathereth the dispersed of Israel: Yet I will gather others to him, beside those of him that are gathered.
9 Wszystkie zwierzęta polne, przyjdźcie na żer, i [wy], wszystkie zwierzęta leśne.
All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest.
10 Jego stróżowie są ślepi wszyscy, nic nie wiedzą, wszyscy są niemymi psami, nie mogą szczekać; są ospali, leżą, kochają drzemać.
His watchmen are all blind, without knowledge; they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; raving, lying down, loving to slumber.
11 A są to psy żarłoczne i nienasycone; są to pasterze niezdolni do zrozumienia. Wszyscy udali się w swoją drogę, każdy w swoim miejscu [szuka] własnego zysku, mówiąc:
Yea, the dogs are greedy, they know not when they have enough; and these are shepherds that cannot understand; they all turn to their own way, each one to his gain, one and all.
12 Przyjdźcie, wezmę wino i upijemy się mocnym napojem; jutro będzie tak jak dziś i jeszcze bardziej obficie.
'Come ye, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to-morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.'
