Ezechiela 8

4 A oto [była] tam chwała Boga Izraela, podobna do tej, którą widziałem na równinie.
And lo! the glorie of God of Israel was there, bi siyt which Y siy in the feeld.
5 I powiedział do mnie: Synu człowieczy, podnieś teraz swe oczy w kierunku północy. Podniosłem więc swe oczy w kierunku północy, a oto na północ od bramy ołtarza, u wejścia, [stał] bożek [pobudzający] do zazdrości.
And he seide to me, Thou, sone of man, reise thin iyen to the weie of the north; and Y reiside myn iyen to the weie of the north, and lo! fro the north of the yate of the auter the idol of enuye was in that entryng.
6 Znowu powiedział do mnie: Synu człowieczy, czy widzisz, co oni czynią? Te wielkie obrzydliwości, które czyni tu dom Izraela, tak że muszę się oddalić od swojej świątyni? Ale odwróć się i ujrzysz jeszcze większe obrzydliwości.
And he seide to me, Sone of man, gessist thou whether thou seest what thing these men doon, the grete abhomynaciouns whiche the hous of Israel doith here, that Y go fer awei fro my seyntuarie? and yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se grettere abhomynaciouns.
7 I przyprowadził mnie do drzwi dziedzińca, a gdy spojrzałem, oto dziura w ścianie.
And he ledde me with ynne to the dore of the halle; and Y siy, and lo! oon hoole in the wal.
8 I powiedział do mnie: Synu człowieczy, przebij teraz tę ścianę. I przebiłem ścianę, a oto drzwi.
And he seide to me, Sone of man, digge thou the wal; and whanne Y hadde diggid the wal, o dore apperide.
9 I powiedział do mnie: Wejdź i zobacz te niegodziwe obrzydliwości, które oni tu czynią.
And he seide to me, Entre thou, and se the worste abhomynaciouns, whiche these men doon here.
10 Wszedłem więc i patrzyłem, a oto wszelkiego rodzaju zwierzęta pełzające, zwierzęta obrzydłe i wszystkie posągi domu Izraela były wyryte na ścianie, wszędzie dokoła.
And Y entride, and siy; and lo! ech licnesse of `crepynge beestis, and abhomynacioun of beestis, and alle idols of the hous of Israel, weren peyntid in the wal al aboute in cumpas.

12 Wtedy zapytał mnie: Czy widziałeś, synu człowieczy, co starsi domu Izraela czynią w ciemności, każdy w swoich komnatach pełnych obrazów? Mówią bowiem: PAN nas nie widzi, PAN opuścił tę ziemię.
And he seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou seest what thingis the eldere men of the hous of Israel doen in derknessis, ech man in the hid place of his bed; for thei seiyn, The Lord seeth not vs, the Lord hath forsake the lond.
13 Ponadto powiedział do mnie: Odwróć się znowu i zobaczysz jeszcze większe obrzydliwości, które oni czynią.
And the Lord seide to me, Yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se gretter abhomynaciouns, whiche these men doon.
14 I zaprowadził mnie do wejścia bramy domu PANA, która znajdowała się po stronie północnej, a oto siedziały tam kobiety opłakujące Tammuza.

15 I zapytał mnie: Czy widziałeś to, synu człowieczy? Odwróć się znowu i zobaczysz jeszcze większe obrzydliwości niż te.
And the Lord seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou hast seyn; yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se gretere abhomynaciouns than these.
16 Wtedy wprowadził mnie na wewnętrzny dziedziniec domu PANA, a oto u wejścia do świątyni PANA, między przedsionkiem a ołtarzem, [było] około dwudziestu pięciu mężczyzn. Każdy z nich był odwrócony plecami do świątyni PANA, ich twarze [były zwrócone] na wschód i oddawali pokłon słońcu w kierunku wschodu.
And he ledde me with ynne, in to the ynnere halle of the hous of the Lord; and lo! in the dore of the temple of the Lord, bitwixe the porche and the auter, weren as fyue and twenti men hauynge the backis ayens the temple of the Lord, and her faces to the eest; and thei worschipiden at the risyng of the sunne.
17 I zapytał mnie: Czy widziałeś, synu człowieczy? Czy to zbyt mało dla domu Judy czynić takie obrzydliwości, jakie tu czynią? Napełnili bowiem ziemię nieprawością, odwrócili się, aby pobudzać mnie do gniewu, i oto przykładają gałązkę do swoich nosów.
And the Lord seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou hast seyn; whether this is a liyt thing to the hous of Juda, that thei schulden do these abhomynaciouns, whiche thei diden here? For thei filliden the lond with wickidnesse, and turneden to terre me to wraththe; and lo! thei applien a braunche to her nose thirlis.
18 Dlatego ja również postąpię z nimi w zapalczywości. Moje oko [ich] nie oszczędzi i nie zlituję się [nad nimi]. Będą wołać do moich uszu donośnym głosem, lecz ich nie wysłucham.
Therfor and Y schal do in strong veniaunce; myn iye schal not spare, nether Y schal do merci; and whanne thei schulen crie to myn eris with greet vois, Y schal not here hem.
