Ezechiela 27
1 I doszło do mnie słowo PANA mówiące:
The word of Jehovah came again to me, saying:
2 A ty, synu człowieczy, podnieś lament nad Tyrem;
Son of man, take up a lamentation over Tyre,
3 I powiedz Tyrowi, który leży u wejścia do morza i prowadzi handel z narodami na wielu wyspach: Tak mówi Pan BÓG: Tyrze, ty powiedziałeś: Ja [jestem] doskonały w [swojej] piękności.
and say to Tyre, O thou that didst dwell at the entrance of the sea, the merchant of the nations to many coasts! thus saith the Lord Jehovah: O Tyre, thou hast said, “I am perfect in beauty.”
4 Twoje granice [są] w środku morza, twoi budowniczowie uczynili doskonałą twoją piękność.
Thy borders are in the midst of the seas; thy builders have perfected thy beauty.
5 Z cyprysów Seniru pobudowali wszystkie twoje deski [pokładowe], brali cedry z Libanu, aby zrobić maszty dla ciebie.
They made all thy ship-boards of cypresses of Senir; they took cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.
6 Z dębów Baszanu wykonywali twoje wiosła, urobili twoje ławy z kości słoniowych i bukszpanu z wysp Kittim.
Of oaks of Bashan they made thine oars; thy benches they made of ivory inlaid in cedar from the coasts of the Chittaeans.
7 Bisior haftowany z Egiptu był twoim płótnem, z którego zrobiłeś swoje żagle; błękit i purpura z wysp Eliszy były twoim nakryciem.
Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou didst spread forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the coasts of Elisha were thy covering.
8 Mieszkańcy Sydonu i Arwadu byli twoimi żeglarzami. Twoi mędrcy, Tyrze, [którzy] pochodzili z ciebie, byli twoimi sternikami.
The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy rowers; thy wise men, O Tyre, that were in thee, were thy pilots.
9 Starcy z Gebalu i jego mędrcy naprawiali u ciebie twoje pęknięcia; wszystkie okręty morskie i ich żeglarze przebywali u ciebie, aby prowadzić z tobą handel.
The ancients of Gebal and the skilful men thereof were in thee, thy calkers; all the ships of the sea, with their mariners, were in thee, to traffic in thy merchandise.
10 Mieszkańcy Persji, Lud i Put służyli w twoim wojsku jako twoi wojownicy. Wieszali u ciebie tarczę i hełm i dodawali ci piękna.
Persians, and Lydians, and Lybians were in thine army, thy men of war; they hung up the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy glory.
11 Synowie Arwadu wraz z twoim wojskiem stali na twoich murach dokoła, także Gammadejczycy czuwali na twoich wieżach, wieszali swoje tarcze na twoich murach dokoła. Oni uczynili doskonałą twoją piękność.
The men of Arvad and thine own army were upon thy walls round about, and brave warriors were in thy towers; they hung their shields upon thy walls round about; they made thy beauty perfect.
12 Tarszisz prowadził z tobą handel ze względu na obfitość wszelkiego bogactwa. Na twoich jarmarkach handlowali srebrem, żelazem, cyną i ołowiem.
Tarshish trafficked with thee on account of the abundance of all kinds of goods; with silver, iron, tin, and lead they traded in thy fairs.
13 Jawan, Tubal i Meszek prowadzili z tobą handel. Za twoje towary dawali ludzi i naczynia z brązu.
Javan, Tubal, and Meshech trafficked with thee; the persons of men and vessels of brass they sold in thy market.
14 Dom Togarmy handlował końmi, jeźdźcami i mułami na twoich jarmarkach.
They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.
15 Synowie Dedanu prowadzili z tobą handel i wiele wysp kupowało towary twojej ręki. Dawali ci w zamian rogi, kość słoniową i drewno hebanu.
The men of Dedan trafficked with thee; many islands were at hand to thee for trade; they brought thee, for payment, horns of ivory, and ebony-wood.
16 Syryjczycy prowadzili z tobą handel ze względu na mnóstwo twoich wyrobów. Handlowali karbunkułami, purpurą, haftowaną tkaniną, bisiorem, koralami i kryształami na twoich jarmarkach.
Syria trafficked with thee by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making; with carbuncles, purple and embroidered work, and fine linen, and corals, and rubies, they traded in thy fairs.
17 Juda i ziemia Izraela prowadziły z tobą handel; dawali ci w zamian pszenicę z Minnit i Pannag, miód, oliwę i balsam.
Judah and the land of Israel trafficked with thee; with wheat of Minnith, and pastry, and syrup, and oil, and balm they traded in thy market.
18 Damaszek prowadził z tobą handel ze względu na mnóstwo twoich wyrobów i ze względu na obfitość wszelkiego bogactwa; [handlował] winem z Chelbonu i białą wełną.
Damascus trafficked with thee on account of the multitude of the wares of thy making, on account of the abundance of all kinds of goods, in the wine of Helbon, and in white wool.
19 Także Dan i Jawan, wędrowni handlarze na twoich jarmarkach, dawali ci w zamian żelazo polerowane, kasję i ziela tataraku.
Vedan and Javan brought thread to thy market; wrought iron, cassia, and sweet reed were in thy fairs.
20 Dedan prowadził handel u ciebie kosztowną tkaniną na rydwany.
Dedan brought cloth for riding, in traffic with thee.
21 Arabia i wszyscy książęta Kedaru prowadzili z tobą handel jagniętami, baranami i kozłami; tym handlowali u ciebie.
Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were at hand to traffic with thee; they traded with thee in lambs and rams and goats.
22 Kupcy z Szeby i Rama prowadzili z tobą handel. Handlowali w twoich jarmarkach najlepszymi ze wszystkich woni oraz wszelkim drogim kamieniem i złotem.
The merchants of Sheba and Raamah trafficked with thee with all kinds of precious spices, and with all kinds of precious stones, and gold.
23 Charan, Kanne i Eden, kupcy z Szeby, Assur i Kilmad prowadzili z tobą handel.
Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Assyria, and Chilmad,
24 Handlowali z tobą szatami z błękitu, haftowaną tkaniną i skrzyniami z cedru dla kosztownych szat, które zawiązywano sznurami; tym handlowali u ciebie.
trafficked with thee in splendid apparel, in mantles of blue and embroidered work, in chests of damask bound with cords and made of cedar, in thy market.
25 Okręty morskie przypłynęły po twoje towary wymienne. Napełniłeś się i byłeś wielce uwielbiony w sercu mórz.
The ships of Tarshish were the caravans for thy traffic; and thou wast replenished and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.
26 Twoi wioślarze wyprowadzili cię na wielkie wody. Wschodni wiatr rozbił cię w sercu mórz.
Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters; the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the seas.
27 Twoje bogactwa, twoje jarmarki, twoje towary, twoi żeglarze i sternicy oraz ci, którzy naprawiali twoje pęknięcia, twoi nabywcy, kupcy twoich towarów, wszyscy twoi wojownicy, którzy są u ciebie, i cały twój tłum, który znajduje się u ciebie, wpadną do środka morza w dniu twego upadku.
Thy riches, and thy fairs, and thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the traders in thy merchandise, and all thy men of war within thee, and all thy multitude that is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.
28 Na głos krzyku twoich sterników zadrżą wybrzeża.
At the sound of the cry of thy pilots the pastures around thee shall shake.
29 I zejdą ze swoich okrętów wszyscy wioślarze, żeglarze i wszyscy sternicy morscy, i staną na lądzie.
And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships; they shall stand upon the land,
30 Będą lamentować nad tobą donośnym głosem i gorzko będą zawodzić; posypią prochem swoje głowy i w popiele będą się tarzać.
and shall cause their voice to be heard for thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast dust upon their heads, and roll themselves in ashes.
31 Z powodu ciebie ogolą sobie głowy, przepaszą się worami i będą płakać nad tobą w goryczy [swej] duszy i gorzkim zawodzeniu.
And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird themselves with sackcloth; and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing.
32 Uczynią nad tobą lament żałosny i będą nad tobą zawodzić, [mówiąc]: Które [miasto] jest podobne do Tyru, [który] zniszczono pośrodku morza?
And in their wailing they shall take up for thee a lamentation, and shall lament over thee, saying: “What city is like Tyre, like the Destroyed in the midst of the sea?
33 Gdy twoje towary szły z morza, syciłeś wiele narodów; mnóstwem twoich bogactw i wyrobów wzbogaciłeś królów ziemi.
When thy wares went forth from the seas, thou didst satisfy many nations; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the abundance of thy riches and thy merchandise.
34 [Ale] gdy będziesz zdruzgotany przez morza w głębinach wód, twoje towary i cały twój tłum pośród ciebie upadnie.
Now thou art broken by the seas in the depth of the waters, and thy merchandise and all thy multitude in the midst of thee are fallen.
35 Wszyscy mieszkańcy wysp będą zdumiewać się nad tobą, a ich królowie będą zdjęci strachem, z zatrwożoną twarzą.
All the inhabitants of the isles are astonished at thee, and their kings shudder; they are troubled in their countenance.
36 Kupcy spośród narodów świsną nad tobą; będziesz dla nich postrachem i przestaniesz istnieć na wieki.
The merchants among the nations hiss at thee. Thou art a desolation, and shalt exist no more forever.”
