Efezjan 4
1 Proszę więc was ja, więzień w Panu, abyście postępowali w sposób godny powołania, do jakiego zostaliście wezwani;
I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,
2 Z całą pokorą, łagodnością i z cierpliwością, znosząc jedni drugich w miłości;
with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love,
3 Starając się zachować jedność Ducha w więzi pokoju.
being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 Jedno [jest] ciało i jeden Duch, jak też zostaliście powołani w jednej nadziei waszego powołania.
There is one body and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling,
5 Jeden Pan, jedna wiara, jeden chrzest;
one Lord, one faith, one immersion,
6 Jeden Bóg i Ojciec wszystkich, który jest ponad wszystkimi, przez wszystkich i w was wszystkich.
one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in us all.
7 A każdemu z nas została dana łaska według miary daru Chrystusa.
But to each one of us, the grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Messiah.
8 Dlatego [Pismo] mówi: Wstąpiwszy na wysokość, poprowadził pojmanych jeńców i dał ludziom dary.
Therefore he says, “When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to people.”
9 Lecz to, [że] wstąpił, cóż oznacza, jeśli nie to, że najpierw zstąpił do niższych regionów ziemi?
Now this, “He ascended”, what is it but that he also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?
10 Ten, który zstąpił, jest i tym, który wstąpił wysoko ponad wszystkie niebiosa, aby napełnić wszystko.
He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.
11 I on ustanowił jednych apostołami, drugich prorokami, innych ewangelistami, a jeszcze innych pasterzami i nauczycielami;
He gave some to be emissaries; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;
12 Dla przysposobienia świętych, dla dzieła posługiwania, dla budowania ciała Chrystusa;
for the perfecting of the holy ones, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Messiah,
13 Aż dojdziemy wszyscy do jedności wiary i poznania Syna Bożego, do człowieka doskonałego, do miary dojrzałości pełni Chrystusa;
until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Messiah,
14 Abyśmy już nie byli dziećmi miotanymi i unoszonymi każdym powiewem nauki przez oszustwo ludzkie i przez podstęp [prowadzący] na manowce błędu.
that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;
15 Lecz będąc szczerymi w miłości, wzrastajmy we wszystkim w tego, który jest głową – w Chrystusa.
but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Messiah,
16 Z niego całe ciało harmonijnie złożone i zespolone we wszystkich stawach, dzięki działaniu każdego członka, stosownie do jego miary, przyczynia sobie wzrostu dla budowania samego siebie w miłości.
from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.
17 To więc mówię i zaświadczam w Panu, abyście [już] więcej nie postępowali tak, jak postępują inni poganie w próżności ich umysłu;
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,
18 Mając przyćmiony rozum, obcy dla życia Bożego z powodu niewiedzy, która w nich jest, z powodu zatwardziałości ich serca.
being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts.
19 Oni, stawszy się nieczuli, oddali się rozpuście, dopuszczając się wszelkiej nieczystości z zachłannością.
They, having become callous, gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 Lecz wy nie tak nauczyliście się Chrystusa;
But you didn’t learn Messiah that way,
21 Jeśli tylko słyszeliście go i byliście pouczeni przez niego, zgodnie z prawdą, jaka jest w Jezusie;
if indeed you heard him and were taught in him, even as truth is in Yeshua:
22 Że – co się tyczy poprzedniego postępowania – powinniście zrzucić [z siebie] starego człowieka, który ulega zepsuciu przez zwodnicze żądze;
that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit,
23 I odnowić się w duchu waszego umysłu;
and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
24 I przyoblec się w nowego człowieka, który jest stworzony według Boga w sprawiedliwości i w prawdziwej świętości.
and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
25 Dlatego odrzuciwszy kłamstwo, niech każdy mówi prawdę swojemu bliźniemu, bo jesteśmy członkami jedni drugich.
Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.
26 Gniewajcie się, lecz nie grzeszcie; niech nad waszym gniewem nie zachodzi słońce.
“Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath,
27 Nie dawajcie miejsca diabłu.
and don’t give place to the devil.
28 Kto kradł, niech więcej nie kradnie, ale raczej niech pracuje, czyniąc własnymi rękami to, co jest dobre, aby miał [z czego] udzielać potrzebującemu.
Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.
29 Żadne plugawe słowo niech nie wychodzi z waszych ust, lecz tylko dobre, dla zbudowania, aby przynosiło łaskę słuchającym.
Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.
30 I nie zasmucajcie Bożego Ducha Świętego, którym jesteście zapieczętowani na dzień odkupienia.
Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31 Wszelka gorycz i zapalczywość, gniew, wrzask i złorzeczenie niech zostaną usunięte spośród was wraz ze wszelką złośliwością.
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice.
32 Bądźcie dla siebie nawzajem życzliwi, miłosierni, przebaczając sobie, jak i wam Bóg przebaczył w Chrystusie.
And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Messiah forgave you.
