Efezjan 3
1 Dlatego ja, Paweł, więzień Chrystusa Jezusa dla was, pogan;
For this cause [[I bend my knees]], I Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you gentiles;
2 Jeśli tylko słyszeliście o udzieleniu łaski Boga, która jest mi dana dla was;
if, indeed, ye heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given me toward you,
3 Że przez objawienie została mi oznajmiona tajemnica, jak to wam przedtem krótko napisałem.
that by revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I wrote before in few words,
4 Dlatego czytając [to], możecie zrozumieć moje poznanie tajemnicy Chrystusa;
whereby, when ye read, ye may perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ;
5 Która w innych wiekach nie była znana synom ludzkim, jak teraz została objawiona jego świętym apostołom i prorokom przez Ducha;
which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it hath now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
6 [Mianowicie], że poganie są współdziedzicami i [członkami] tego samego ciała, i współuczestnikami jego obietnicy w Chrystusie przez ewangelię.
that the gentiles are fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers with us of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel;
7 Stałem się jej sługą według daru łaski Boga danej mi przez działanie jego mocy.
of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God, given to me according to the effectual working of his power.
8 Mnie, najmniejszemu ze wszystkich świętych, została dana ta łaska, abym wśród pogan głosił te niezgłębione bogactwa Chrystusa;
To me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace given, to make known among the gentiles the glad tidings of the unsearchable riches of Christ,
9 I żebym ujawnił wszystkim, jaka jest wspólnota tej tajemnicy ukrytej od wieków w Bogu, który wszystko stworzył przez Jezusa Chrystusa; (aiōn g165)
to make all men see what is the dispensation of the mystery, which hath been hidden for ages in God, who created all things; (aiōn g165)
10 Aby teraz wieloraka mądrość Boga poprzez kościół stała się jawna zwierzchnościom i władzom w [miejscach] niebiańskich;
to the intent that now to the principalities and powers in the heavenly regions might be known through the church the manifold wisdom of God,
according to his purpose for ages, which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord; (aiōn g165)
12 W nim mamy śmiałość i przystęp z ufnością przez wiarę jego.
in whom we have our boldness and our access in confidence, through faith in him.
13 Proszę zatem, abyście nie zniechęcali się z powodu moich utrapień, [jakie znoszę] dla was, bo to one są waszą chwałą.
Wherefore I entreat you not to be disheartened by the troubles I am suffering for you, since they are your glory.
14 Dlatego zginam swoje kolana przed Ojcem naszego Pana Jezusa Chrystusa;
For this cause I bend my knees to the Father,
15 Od którego cała rodzina na niebie i na ziemi bierze swoją nazwę;
from whom every family in heaven and on earth receiveth its name,
16 Aby według bogactwa swej chwały sprawił, żeby wasz wewnętrzny człowiek był utwierdzony mocą przez jego Ducha;
that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 Aby Chrystus przez wiarę mieszkał w waszych sercach, [abyście] zakorzenieni i ugruntowani w miłości;
that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, ye having been rooted and grounded in love,
18 Mogli pojąć wraz ze wszystkimi świętymi, jaka jest szerokość, długość, głębokość i wysokość;
that ye may be able to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height,
19 I poznać miłość Chrystusa, która przewyższa wszelkie poznanie, abyście zostali napełnieni całą pełnią Boga.
and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fullness of God.
20 Temu zaś, który według mocy działającej w nas może uczynić o wiele obficiej ponad to wszystko, o co prosimy albo o czym myślimy;
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
