1 Kapłani lewiccy oraz całe pokolenie Lewiego nie będą mieli działu ani dziedzictwa z Izraelem. Będą spożywać ofiary ogniowe PANA i jego dziedzictwo.
The priests the Levites, all the tribe of Levi, shall have no portion nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and his inheritance.
2 Nie będą mieli dziedzictwa pośród swoich braci. PAN jest ich dziedzictwem, tak jak im powiedział.
They shall have no inheritance among their brothers: the LORD is their inheritance, as he has spoken to them.
3 A taka będzie należność kapłanów od ludu, od tych, którzy składają ofiarę, czy to wołu, czy owcę: oddadzą kapłanowi łopatkę, obie szczęki i żołądek.
This shall be the priests' due from the people, from those who offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep, that they shall give to the priest the shoulder, and the two cheeks, and the maw.

The first fruits of your grain, of your new wine, and of your oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep, you shall give him.
5 Jego bowiem wybrał PAN, twój Bóg, ze wszystkich twoich pokoleń, aby stawał i służył w imię PANA, on i jego synowie, po wszystkie dni.
For the LORD your God has chosen him out of all your tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the LORD, him and his sons for ever.
6 A jeśli przyjdzie Lewita z jednego z twoich miast z całego Izraela, gdzie przebywa, a przyjdzie z całym pragnieniem swej duszy do miejsca, które PAN wybierze;
If a Levite comes from any of your gates out of all Israel, where he lives as a foreigner, and comes with all the desire of his soul to the place which the LORD shall choose;
7 Wtedy będzie służyć w imię PANA, swego Boga, tak jak wszyscy jego bracia Lewici, którzy tam stoją przed PANEM.
then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as all his brothers the Levites do, who stand there before the LORD.
8 Będą jeść równą część oprócz tego, co mają ze sprzedaży ojcowizny.
They shall have like portions to eat, besides that which comes of the sale of his patrimony.
9 Gdy wejdziesz do ziemi, którą PAN, twój Bóg, ci daje, nie ucz się postępować według obrzydliwości tych narodów.
When you have come into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
10 Niech nie znajdzie się pośród was nikt, kto by przeprowadzał swego syna lub córkę przez ogień, ani wróżbita, ani wróżbiarz, ani jasnowidz, ani czarownik;
There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who practices divination, or tells fortunes, or interprets omens, or a sorcerer,

or who casts spells, or consults a medium or a familiar spirit, or inquires of the dead.

For whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD. And because of these abominations the LORD your God is driving them out from before you.
13 Będziesz doskonały przed PANEM, swoim Bogiem.
You shall be blameless before the LORD your God.
14 Gdyż te narody, które opanujesz, słuchają wieszczbiarzy i wróżbitów, lecz tobie nie pozwala na to PAN, twój Bóg.
For these nations, that you shall dispossess, listen to those who practice sorcery, and to diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you so to do.
15 PAN, twój Bóg, wzbudzi ci proroka podobnego do mnie spośród ciebie, spośród twoich braci. Jego będziecie słuchać;
The LORD your God will raise up to you a prophet from the midst of you, of your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him.
16 Zgodnie z tym wszystkim, o co prosiłeś PANA, swego Boga, na Horebie, w dniu zgromadzenia: Niech już nie słucham głosu PANA, swego Boga, i niech już nie patrzę na ten wielki ogień, abym nie umarł.
This is according to all that you desired of the LORD your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, "Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I not die."
17 Wtedy PAN powiedział do mnie: Słusznie powiedzieli.
The LORD said to me, "They have well said that which they have spoken.
18 Wzbudzę im proroka podobnego do ciebie spośród ich braci i włożę moje słowa w jego usta, a on powie im wszystko, co mu rozkażę.
I will raise them up a prophet from among their brothers, like you; and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.
19 I jeśli ktoś nie będzie posłuszny moim słowom, które będzie on mówić w moim imieniu, zażądam od niego [zdania sprawy].
It shall happen, that whoever will not listen to my words which he shall speak in my name, I will call him to account.
20 Natomiast prorok, który odważy się mówić słowo w moim imieniu, którego mu nie nakazałem mówić, albo będzie mówił w imieniu obcych bogów, taki prorok poniesie śmierć.
But the prophet, who shall speak a word presumptuously in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who shall speak in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die."
21 A jeśli powiesz w swym sercu: Jak rozpoznamy to słowo, którego PAN nie wypowiedział?
If you say in your heart, "How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?"
22 Gdy prorok będzie coś mówił w imieniu PANA, a to się nie spełni ani nie nastąpi, to jest to słowo, którego PAN nie wypowiedział, lecz prorok mówił to z zuchwalstwa. Nie bój się go.
When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing doesn't follow, nor happen, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken: the prophet has spoken it presumptuously, you shall not be afraid of him.
