1 Miłuj więc PANA, swego Boga, i przestrzegaj jego nakazu, jego ustaw, jego praw i jego przykazań przez wszystkie dni.
Therefore thou shall love Jehovah thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his ordinances, and his commandments, always.
2 A poznajcie dziś (bo nie [mówię] do waszych synów, którzy nie znali i nie widzieli karania PANA, waszego Boga) jego wielkość, jego potężną rękę i jego wyciągnięte ramię;
And ye know this day, for it is not with your sons who have not known, and who have not seen the chastisement of Jehovah your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his outstretched arm,
3 Jego cuda i jego dzieła, których dokonał w Egipcie na faraonie, królu Egiptu, i na całej jego ziemi;
and his signs, and his works, which he did in the midst of Egypt to Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and to all his land,

and what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses, and to their chariots, how he made the water of the Red Sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how Jehovah has destroyed them to this day,
5 Także i to, co uczynił dla was na pustyni, aż do waszego przybycia na to miejsce;
and what he did to you in the wilderness, until ye came to this place,
6 I to, co uczynił Datanowi i Abiramowi, synom Eliaba, syna Rubena, gdy ziemia otworzyła swe usta i pochłonęła ich spośród całego Izraela razem z ich rodzinami, namiotami i całym ich dobytkiem.
and what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben, how the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and every living thing that followed them, in the midst of all Israel,
7 A wasze oczy widziały wszystkie te wielkie dzieła PANA, których dokonał.
but your eyes have seen all the great work of Jehovah which he did.
8 Przestrzegajcie więc każdego przykazania, które wam dziś nakazuję, abyście się umocnili, weszli i posiedli ziemię, do której wchodzicie, aby ją wziąć w posiadanie;
Therefore ye shall keep all the commandment which I command thee this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, where ye go over to possess it,
9 I żebyście przedłużyli swoje dni na ziemi, którą PAN poprzysiągł dać waszym ojcom i ich potomstwu, ziemię opływającą mlekiem i miodem.
and that ye may prolong your days in the land, which Jehovah swore to your fathers to give to them and to their seed, a land flowing with milk and honey.
10 Ziemia bowiem, do której wchodzisz, aby ją posiąść, nie jest jak ziemia Egiptu, z której wyszliście, którą zasiewałeś swoim ziarnem i nawadniałeś [przy pomocy] swoich nóg, jak ogród jarzyn.
For the land, where thou go in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from where ye came out, where thou sowed thy seed, and watered it with thy foot, as a garden of herbs,
11 Lecz ziemia, do której wchodzicie, aby ją posiąść, [jest] ziemią gór i dolin, która pije wodę deszczu z nieba;
but the land, where ye go over to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinks water from the rain of heaven,
12 Jest to ziemia, o którą PAN, twój Bóg, się troszczy, i na której oczy PANA, twego Boga, stale [spoczywają], od początku roku do jego końca.
a land which Jehovah thy God cares for. The eyes of Jehovah thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year.
13 A jeśli będziecie pilnie słuchać moich przykazań, które wam dziś nakazuję – żebyście miłowali PANA, swojego Boga, i służyli mu z całego swego serca i całą swoją duszą;
And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently to my commandments which I command you this day, to love Jehovah your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,
14 Wtedy dam waszej ziemi w odpowiednim czasie deszcz wczesny i późny i będziesz zbierał swoje zboża, swoje wino i swoją oliwę.
that I will give the rain of your land in its season, the former rain and the latter rain, that thou may gather in thy grain, and thy new wine, and thine oil.
15 Dam też trawę na twoich polach dla twojego bydła, a będziesz jadł do syta.
And I will give grass in thy fields for thy cattle, and thou shall eat and be full.
16 Strzeżcie się, aby wasze serce nie dało się zwieść, abyście nie odstąpili i nie służyli innym bogom, i nie oddawali im pokłonu;
Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them,
17 Bo wówczas zapali się gniew PANA przeciwko wam i zamknie [on] niebo, aby nie było deszczu i aby ziemia nie wydała swego plonu, i szybko wyginiecie z tej dobrej ziemi, którą PAN wam daje.
and the anger of Jehovah be kindled against you, and he shut up the heavens, so that there shall be no rain, and the land shall not yield its fruit, and ye perish quickly from off the good land which Jehovah gives you.
18 Weźcie więc te moje słowa do swego serca i do swej duszy i przywiążcie je do swojej ręki jako znak, i niech będą [jak] przepaski między waszymi oczami.
Therefore ye shall lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul. And ye shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.
19 I nauczcie ich swoje dzieci, rozmawiając o nich, gdy siedzisz w domu i gdy będziesz w drodze, gdy się kładziesz i gdy wstajesz.
And ye shall teach them to your sons, talking of them when thou sit in thy house, and when thou walk by the way, and when thou lie down, and when thou rise up.
20 Wypiszesz je też na odrzwiach swego domu i na swoich bramach;
And thou shall write them upon the door-posts of thy house, and upon thy gates,
21 Aby się pomnożyły wasze dni i dni waszych dzieci w ziemi, którą PAN poprzysiągł dać waszym ojcom, dopóki niebo [będzie trwać] nad ziemią.
that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your sons, in the land which Jehovah swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens above the earth.
22 Bo jeśli będziecie pilnie przestrzegać wszystkich przykazań, które ja wam nakazuję wypełniać, żebyście miłowali PANA, swojego Boga, i chodzili wszystkimi jego drogami, lgnąc do niego;
For if ye shall diligently keep all this commandment which I command you, to do it, to love Jehovah your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cling to him,
23 Wtedy PAN wypędzi przed wami wszystkie te narody i zawładniecie narodami większymi i potężniejszymi od was.
then will Jehovah drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourselves.
24 Każde miejsce, po którym stąpać będzie stopa waszej nogi, będzie wasze: od pustyni i Libanu, od rzeki Eufrat aż do morza zachodniego będzie wasza granica.
Every place on which the sole of your foot shall tread shall be yours, from the wilderness, and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even to the hinder sea shall be your border.
25 Nikt nie ostoi się przed wami. PAN, wasz Bóg, wzbudzi strach i lęk przed wami po całej ziemi, którą będziecie deptać, jak wam powiedział.
There shall no man be able to stand before you. Jehovah your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he has spoken to you.
26 Oto dziś kładę przed wami błogosławieństwo i przekleństwo.
Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse:
27 Błogosławieństwo, jeśli będziecie posłuszni przykazaniom PANA, swojego Boga, które dziś wam nakazuję.
the blessing, if ye shall hearken to the commandments of Jehovah your God, which I command you this day,
28 A przekleństwo, jeśli nie będziecie posłuszni przykazaniom PANA, swojego Boga, i zboczycie z drogi, którą wam dziś nakazuję, aby pójść za innymi bogami, których nie poznaliście.
and the curse, if ye shall not hearken to the commandments of Jehovah your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
29 Gdy PAN, twój Bóg, wprowadzi cię do ziemi, do której wchodzisz, aby ją posiąść, umieścisz [to] błogosławieństwo na górze Gerizim, a przekleństwo na górze Ebal.
And it shall come to pass, when Jehovah thy God shall bring thee into the land where thou go to possess it, that thou shall set the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.
30 Czy nie znajdują się [one] za Jordanem, po drodze w kierunku zachodu słońca, w ziemi Kananejczyków, którzy mieszkają na stepie, naprzeciwko Gilgal, przy równinie More?
Are they not beyond the Jordan, behind the way of the going down of the sun, in the land of the Canaanites who dwell in the Arabah, opposite Gilgal, beside the oaks of Moreh?
31 Wy bowiem przejdziecie przez Jordan, aby wejść i posiąść ziemię, którą daje wam PAN, wasz Bóg, i posiądziecie ją i w niej zamieszkacie.
For ye are to pass over the Jordan to go in to possess the land which Jehovah your God gives you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell in it.
32 Dopilnujcie, abyście wypełniali wszystkie nakazy i prawa, które dziś wam przedkładam.
And ye shall observe to do all the statutes and the ordinances which I set before you this day.
