Kolosan 2
1 Chcę bowiem, abyście wiedzieli, jak wielką walkę toczę o was, o tych, którzy są w Laodycei, i o tych wszystkich, którzy nie widzieli mego oblicza w ciele;
For I desire to have you know how greatly I struggle for you and for those at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
2 Aby ich serca były pocieszone, będąc zespolone w miłości, a to ku wszelkiemu bogactwu zupełnej pewności zrozumienia, ku poznaniu tajemnicy Boga, Ojca i Chrystusa;
that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Messiah,
3 W którym są ukryte wszystkie skarby mądrości i poznania.
in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.
4 A mówię to, aby was nikt nie zwodził podstępnymi słowami.
Now I say this that no one may delude you with persuasiveness of speech.
5 Choć bowiem ciałem jestem nieobecny, to jednak duchem jestem z wami i raduję się, widząc wasz porządek i stałość waszej wiary w Chrystusa.
For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in the spirit, rejoicing and seeing your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Messiah.
6 Jak więc przyjęliście Pana Jezusa Chrystusa, tak w nim postępujcie;
As therefore you received Messiah Yeshua the Lord, walk in him,
7 Zakorzenieni i zbudowani na nim, i utwierdzeni w wierze, jak was nauczono, obfitując w niej z dziękczynieniem.
rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, even as you were taught, abounding in it in thanksgiving.
8 Uważajcie, żeby was ktoś nie obrócił na [własną] korzyść przez filozofię i próżne oszustwo, oparte na ludzkiej tradycji, na żywiołach świata, a nie na Chrystusie.
Be careful that you don’t let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elemental spirits of the world, and not after Messiah.
9 Gdyż w nim mieszka cieleśnie cała pełnia Bóstwa.
For in him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily,
10 I jesteście dopełnieni w nim, który jest głową wszelkiej zwierzchności i władzy;
and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power.
11 W nim też zostaliście obrzezani obrzezaniem nie ręką uczynionym, lecz obrzezaniem Chrystusa, przez zrzucenie grzesznego ciała doczesnego;
In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of Messiah,
12 Pogrzebani z nim w chrzcie, w którym też razem z nim zostaliście wskrzeszeni przez wiarę, która jest działaniem Boga, który go wskrzesił z martwych.
having been buried with him in immersion, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.
13 I was, gdy byliście umarłymi w grzechach i w nieobrzezaniu waszego ciała, razem z nim ożywił, przebaczając wam wszystkie grzechy;
You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,
14 Wymazał obciążający nas wykaz [zawarty] w przepisach, który był przeciwko nam, i usunął go z drogi, przybiwszy do krzyża;
wiping out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us. He has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross.
15 I rozbroiwszy zwierzchności i władze, jawnie wystawił je na pokaz, gdy przez niego odniósł triumf nad nimi.
Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
16 Niech więc nikt was nie osądza z powodu jedzenia lub picia, co do święta, nowiu księżyca lub szabatów.
Let no one therefore judge you in eating or drinking, or with respect to a feast day or a new moon or a Sabbath day,
17 Są to cienie rzeczy przyszłych, ciało zaś jest Chrystusa.
which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Messiah’s.
18 Niech nikt, kto ma upodobanie w poniżaniu siebie i kulcie aniołów, nie pozbawia was nagrody, wdając się w to, czego nie widział, i pyszniąc się bezpodstawnie cielesnym sposobem myślenia;
Let no one rob you of your prize by self-abasement and worshiping of the angels, dwelling in the things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
19 A nie trzyma się głowy, z której całe ciało, odżywiane i wespół zespolone przez stawy i ścięgna, rośnie wzrostem Bożym.
and not holding firmly to the Head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and ligaments, grows with God’s growth.
20 Jeśli więc umarliście z Chrystusem dla żywiołów tego świata, to dlaczego – jakbyście jeszcze żyli dla świata – poddajecie się nakazom:
If you died with Messiah from the elemental spirits of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to ordinances,
21 Nie dotykaj, nie kosztuj, nie ruszaj;
“Don’t handle, nor taste, nor touch”
22 (To wszystko niszczeje przez używanie), według przykazań i nauk ludzkich?
(all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men?
23 Mają one pozór mądrości w religijności według własnego upodobania, w poniżaniu siebie i nieoszczędzaniu ciała, jednak nie mają żadnej wartości, służą tylko do nasycenia ciała.
These things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imposed worship, humility, and severity to the body, but aren’t of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.
