II Tymoteusza 4
1 Zaklinam [cię] więc przed Bogiem i Panem Jezusem Chrystusem, który będzie sądził żywych i umarłych w [czasie] swego przyjścia i swego królestwa;
I charge you, therefore, before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom,
2 Głoś słowo [Boże], nalegaj w porę [i] nie w porę, upominaj, strofuj i zachęcaj ze wszelką cierpliwością i nauką.
preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and teaching.
3 Przyjdzie bowiem czas, gdy zdrowej nauki nie zniosą, ale zgromadzą sobie nauczycieli według swoich pożądliwości, ponieważ ich uszy świerzbią.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound teaching, but according to their own desires they will procure for themselves an abundance of teachers to gratify their itching ears:
4 I odwrócą uszy od prawdy, a zwrócą się ku baśniom.
and they will turn away their ears from the truth, and be turned to fables.
5 Lecz ty bądź czujny we wszystkim, znoś cierpienia, wykonuj dzieło ewangelisty, w pełni dowódź swojej służby.
But do you be watchful in all things, endure evil, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry?
6 Ja bowiem już mam być złożony w ofierze, a czas mojego odejścia nadchodzi.
For I am now ready to be poured out, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 Dobrą walkę stoczyłem, bieg ukończyłem, wiarę zachowałem.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith:
8 Odtąd odłożona jest dla mnie korona sprawiedliwości, którą mi w owym dniu da Pan, sędzia sprawiedliwy, a nie tylko mnie, ale i wszystkim, którzy umiłowali jego przyjście.
henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me at that day; and not to me only, but to all those who love his appearing.
9 Postaraj się przybyć do mnie szybko.
Endeavor to come to me shortly;
10 Demas bowiem mnie opuścił, umiłowawszy ten świat, i udał się do Tesaloniki, Krescens do Galacji, Tytus do Dalmacji; (aiōn g165)
for Demas has forsaken me, having loved the present age; and he has gone to Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)
11 Tylko Łukasz jest ze mną. Weź Marka i przyprowadź ze sobą, bo jest mi bardzo przydatny do służby.
Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for the ministry.
12 Tychika zaś posłałem do Efezu.
I have sent Tychicus to Ephesus.
13 Płaszcz, który zostawiłem w Troadzie u Karposa, przynieś ze sobą, gdy przyjdziesz, a także księgi, zwłaszcza pergaminy.
When you come, bring the cloak that I left in Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments.
14 Aleksander, ludwisarz, wyrządził mi wiele zła; niech mu Pan odda według jego uczynków.
Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord repay him according to his works.
15 I ty się go strzeż, bo bardzo sprzeciwiał się naszym słowom.
Do you, also, beware of him, for he has greatly withstood our words.
16 Podczas pierwszej mojej obrony nikt przy mnie nie stanął, lecz wszyscy mnie opuścili. Niech im to nie będzie policzone.
At my first defense no one stood by me, but all forsook me; may it not be laid to their charge:
17 Lecz Pan stanął przy mnie i umocnił mnie, aby głoszenie było przeze mnie całkowicie utwierdzone, [aby] usłyszeli je wszyscy poganie; i zostałem wyrwany z paszczy lwa.
but the Lord stood by me, and gave me strength, that through me that which is preached might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
18 Wyrwie mnie też Pan ze wszelkiego złego uczynku i zachowa dla swojego królestwa niebieskiego. Jemu chwała na wieki wieków. Amen. (aiōn g165)
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and bring me safe to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory from age to age. Amen. (aiōn g165)
19 Pozdrów Pryskę i Akwilę oraz dom Onezyfora.
Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus.
20 Erast pozostał w Koryncie, a Trofima zostawiłem chorego w Milecie.
Erastus remained at Corinth. I left Trophimus sick at Miletus.
21 Postaraj się przybyć przed zimą. Pozdrawia cię Eubulos, Pudens, Linus, Klaudia i wszyscy bracia.
Endeavor to come to me before winter. Eubulus and Pudens and Linus and Claudia and all the brethren salute you.
22 Pan Jezus Chrystus [niech będzie] z twoim duchem. Łaska [niech będzie] z wami. Amen.
The Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you all. Amen.
