II Kronik 21
1 Potem Jehoszafat zasnął ze swoimi ojcami i został pogrzebany z nimi w mieście Dawida, a jego syn Joram królował w jego miejsce.
And he lay down Jehoshaphat with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David and he became king Jehoram son his in place of him.
2 Ten [miał] braci, synów Jehoszafata: Azariasza, Jechiela, Zachariasza, Azariasza, Mikaela i Szefatiasza. Ci wszyscy byli synami Jehoszafata, króla Izraela.

3 Ich ojciec dał im wiele darów w srebrze i złocie oraz kosztowności wraz z warownymi miastami w Judzie. Ale królestwo oddał Joramowi, ponieważ on był pierworodnym.
And he had given to them - father their gifts many to silver and to gold and to excellent things with cities of fortifications in Judah and the kingdom he gave to Jehoram for he [was] the firstborn.

And he arose Jehoram over [the] kingdom of father his and he strengthened himself and he killed all brothers his with the sword and also some of [the] leaders of Israel.
5 Joram miał trzydzieści dwa lata, kiedy zaczął królować, i królował osiem lat w Jerozolimie.
[was] a son of Thirty and two year[s] Jehoram when became king he and eight years he reigned in Jerusalem.
6 I chodził drogami królów Izraela, tak jak to czynił dom Achaba, bo córka Achaba była jego żoną. I czynił to, co złe w oczach PANA.
And he walked in [the] way of - [the] kings of Israel just as they did [the] house of Ahab for [the] daughter of Ahab she was of him wife and he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh.
7 PAN jednak nie chciał wytracić domu Dawida ze względu na przymierze, które zawarł z Dawidem, i ponieważ obiecał dać pochodnię jemu oraz jego synom, po wszystkie dni.
And not he was willing Yahweh to destroy [the] house of David on account of the covenant which he had made to David and since he had said to give to him a lamp and to descendants his all the days.
8 Za jego dni Edomici wyzwolili się spod panowania Judy i ustanowili nad sobą króla.
In days his it rebelled Edom from under [the] hand of Judah and they made king over them a king.
9 Wyruszył więc Joram wraz ze swoimi dowódcami i wszystkimi swoimi rydwanami. I powstał w nocy, i uderzył na Edomitów, którzy otoczyli jego i dowódców jego rydwanów.
And he passed over Jehoram with commanders his and all the chariotry with him and it was he arose night and he struck down Edom which was surrounding him and [the] commanders of the chariotry.

And it has rebelled Edom from under [the] hand of Judah until the day this then it rebelled Libnah at the time that from under hand his for he had forsaken Yahweh [the] God of ancestors his.
11 Ponadto pobudował wyżyny w górach Judy i przywiódł mieszkańców Jerozolimy do cudzołóstwa, do tego też skłonił Judę.
Also he he made high places in [the] mountains of Judah and he made prostitute [themselves] [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem and he thrust aside Judah.
12 Wtedy przyszło do niego pismo od proroka Eliasza tej treści: Tak mówi PAN, Bóg Dawida, twego ojca: Ponieważ nie chodziłeś drogami swego ojca Jehoszafata i drogami Asy, króla Judy;
And it came to him a writing from Elijah the prophet saying thus - he says Yahweh [the] God of David ancestor your because that not you have walked in [the] ways of Jehoshaphat father your and in [the] ways of Asa [the] king of Judah.
13 Ale chodziłeś drogą królów Izraela i przywiodłeś do cudzołóstwa Judę i mieszkańców Jerozolimy, tak jak cudzołożył dom Achaba, ponadto wymordowałeś swoich braci z domu swego ojca – lepszych od ciebie;
And you have walked in [the] way of [the] kings of Israel and you have made prostitute [themselves] Judah and [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem as made [them] prostitute [themselves] [the] house of Ahab and also brothers your [the] house of father your good more than you you killed.
14 Oto PAN uderzy wielką plagą twój lud, twoich synów, twoje żony i cały twój majątek;
Here! Yahweh [is] about to strike a blow great on people your and on sons your and on wives your and on all property your.
15 Na ciebie też [przyjdzie] ciężka choroba, choroba wnętrzności, aż z powodu choroby dzień za dniem będą wypływać twoje wnętrzności.
And you [will be] in sickness great in [the] sickness of bowels your until they will come out bowels your from the sickness days to days.
16 PAN pobudził również przeciw Joramowi ducha Filistynów i Arabów, którzy mieszkali obok Etiopczyków;
And he stirred up Yahweh on Jehoram [the] spirit of the Philistines and the Arabs who [were] on [the] hand [the] Cushites.
17 Wtargnęli oni do Judy, spustoszyli ją i zabrali cały majątek, który znajdował się w domu króla, [uprowadzili] też jego synów i jego żony, tak że nie pozostał mu żaden syn oprócz Jehoachaza, najmłodszego z jego synów.
And they came up on Judah and they broke into it and they took captive all the property which was found to [the] house of the king and also sons his and wives his and not he remained to him a son that except Jehoahaz [the] young [one] of sons his.
18 Po tym wszystkim PAN dotknął go nieuleczalną chorobą wnętrzności.
And after all this he struck him Yahweh - in bowels his to a sickness to there not [was] healing.
19 A gdy tak mijał dzień po dniu, upłynął okres dwóch lat i wypłynęły jego wnętrzności z powodu tej choroby, i umarł w ciężkich bólach. A lud nie palił mu żadnego ognia, jak to [uczynił] dla jego ojców.
And it was to days - from days and about [the] time of [the] going out of the end of days two they came out bowels his with sickness his and he died in diseases harmful and not they made for him people his a burning like [the] burning of ancestors his.
20 Miał trzydzieści dwa lata, kiedy zaczął królować, i królował osiem lat w Jerozolimie, a odszedł tak, że nikt go nie żałował. I został pogrzebany w mieście Dawida, ale nie w grobach królewskich.
A son of thirty and two [years] he was when became king he and eight years he reigned in Jerusalem and he went with not desire and people buried him in [the] city of David and not in [the] graves of the kings.
