I Koryntian 3
1 I ja, bracia, nie mogłem do was mówić jak do [ludzi] duchowych, ale jak do cielesnych, jak do niemowląt w Chrystusie.
Brothers, I couldn’t speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Messiah.
2 Karmiłem was mlekiem, a nie [stałym] pokarmem, bo jeszcze nie mogliście go [przyjąć], a nawet teraz jeszcze nie możecie;
I fed you with milk, not with solid food, for you weren’t yet ready. Indeed, you aren’t ready even now,
3 Gdyż jeszcze jesteście cieleśni. Skoro bowiem [jest] między wami zazdrość, kłótnie i podziały, to czyż nie jesteście cieleśni i nie postępujecie na sposób ludzki?
for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren’t you fleshly, and don’t you walk in the ways of men?
4 Skoro ktoś mówi: Ja jestem Pawła, a inny: Ja Apollosa, to czyż nie jesteście cieleśni?
For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you fleshly?
5 Kim bowiem jest Paweł? Kim Apollos? Tylko sługami, przez których uwierzyliście, a to tak, jak każdemu dał Pan.
Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed, and each as the Lord gave to him?
6 Ja siałem, Apollos podlewał, ale Bóg dał wzrost.
I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase.
7 Tak więc ani ten, który sieje, ani ten, który podlewa, nic nie znaczą, tylko Bóg, który daje wzrost.
So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
8 Ten zaś, który sieje, i ten, który podlewa, stanowią jedno, a każdy otrzyma swoją zapłatę stosownie do swojej pracy.
Now he who plants and he who waters are the same, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
9 Jesteśmy bowiem współpracownikami Bożymi; wy jesteście Bożą rolą i Bożą budowlą.
For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building.
10 Według łaski Boga, która została mi dana, jak mądry budowniczy położyłem fundament, a inny na nim buduje. Jednak każdy niech uważa, jak na nim buduje.
According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.
11 Nikt bowiem nie może położyć innego fundamentu niż ten, który jest położony, którym jest Jezus Chrystus.
For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Yeshua the Messiah.
12 A czy ktoś na tym fundamencie buduje [ze] złota, srebra, z drogich kamieni, drewna, siana [czy ze] słomy;
But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw,
13 Dzieło każdego będzie jawne. Dzień [ten] bowiem to pokaże, gdyż przez ogień zostanie objawione i ogień wypróbuje, jakie jest dzieło każdego.
each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is.
14 Jeśli czyjeś dzieło budowane na tym [fundamencie] przetrwa, ten otrzyma zapłatę.
If any man’s work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward.
15 Jeśli [zaś] czyjeś dzieło spłonie, [ten] poniesie szkodę. Lecz on sam będzie zbawiony, tak jednak, jak przez ogień.
If any man’s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.
16 Czyż nie wiecie, że jesteście świątynią Boga i że Duch Boży w was mieszka?
Don’t you know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?
17 A jeśli ktoś niszczy świątynię Boga, tego zniszczy Bóg, bo świątynia Boga jest święta, a wy nią jesteście.
If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.
18 Niech nikt nie oszukuje samego siebie. Jeśli komuś spośród was wydaje się, że jest mądry na tym świecie, niech się stanie głupim, aby stał się mądrym. (aiōn g165)
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool that he may become wise. (aiōn g165)
19 Mądrość bowiem tego świata jest głupstwem u Boga. Bo jest napisane: On chwyta mądrych w ich przebiegłości.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He has taken the wise in their craftiness.”
20 I znowu: Pan zna myśli mądrych [i wie], że są marnością.
And again, “The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless.”
21 Niech się więc nikt nie chlubi ludźmi. Wszystko bowiem jest wasze:
Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,
22 Czy Paweł, czy Apollos, czy Kefas, czy świat, czy życie, czy śmierć, czy [to, co] teraźniejsze, czy [to, co] przyszłe – wszystko [jest] wasze;
whether Paul, or Apollos, or Kefa, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours,
23 Wy zaś jesteście Chrystusa, a Chrystus Boga.
and you are Messiah’s, and Messiah is God’s.
