I Kronik 25

1 Dawid wraz z dowódcami wojska przydzielił do służby synów Asafa, Hemana i Jedutuna, którzy mieli prorokować przy harfach, cytrach i cymbałach. A oto liczba pełniących tę służbę:

And David and the heads of the host separate for service, of the sons of Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun, who are prophesying with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals; and the number of the workmen is according to their service.

2 Z synów Asafa – Zakkur, Józef, Netaniasz i Asarela. Synowie Asafa zależni od Asafa, który prorokował pod kierownictwem króla.

Of sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah; sons of Asaph [are] by the side of Asaph, who is prophesying by the side of the king.

3 Z Jedutuna – synowie Jedutuna: Gedaliasz, Seri, Jeszajasz, Chaszabiasz, Mattitiasz [i Szimei], sześciu, pod kierunkiem ich ojca Jedutuna, który prorokował przy harfie, dziękując PANU i wychwalając go.

Of Jeduthun, sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, [and Shimei, and] Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, by the side of their father Jeduthun; he is prophesying with a harp, for giving of thanks and of praise for YHWH.

4 Z Hemana – synowie Hemana: Bukkiasz, Mattaniasz, Uzziel, Szebuel, Jerimot, Chananiasz, Chanani, Eliata, Giddalti, Romamtiezer, Joszbekasza, Malloti, Hotir i Machaziot.

Of Heman, sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth;

5 Ci wszyscy [byli] synami Hemana, widzącego królewskiego w słowach Bożych, dla podnoszenia rogu. I Bóg dał Hemanowi czternastu synów i trzy córki.

all these [are] sons of Heman, seer of the king in the things of God, to lift up a horn; and God gives fourteen sons and three daughters to Heman.

6 Ci wszyscy [byli] pod kierownictwem swego ojca, [przeznaczeni] do śpiewu w domu PANA przy cymbałach, cytrach i harfach, do służby w domu Bożym, tak jak król rozkazał Asafowi, Jedutunowi i Hemanowi.

All these [are] by the side of their father in the song of the house of YHWH, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God; by the side of the king [are] Asaph, and Jeduthun, and Heman.

7 A liczba ich wraz z ich braćmi wyćwiczonymi w pieśniach PANA, wszystkich uzdolnionych, wynosiła dwieście osiemdziesiąt osiem.

And their number, with their brothers taught in the song of YHWH—all who are intelligent—[is] two hundred and eighty-eight.

8 I rzucali losy co do swej służby, tak mały, jak i wielki, tak mistrz, jak i uczeń.

And they cause lots to fall, charge next to [charge], the small as well as the great, the intelligent with the learner.

9 Pierwszy los padł na Asafa i na Józefa, drugi – na Gedaliasza wraz z jego braćmi i synami, razem [było ich] dwunastu.

And the first lot goes out for Asaph to Joseph; the second, Gedaliah—him, and his brothers and his sons—twelve;

10 Trzeci – na Zakkura, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the third, Zaccur, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

11 Czwarty – na Jisriego, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

12 Piąty – na Netaniasza, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the fifth, Nethaniah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

13 Szósty – na Bukkiasza, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the sixth, Bukkiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

14 Siódmy – na Jesarela, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the seventh, Jesharelah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

15 Ósmy – na Jeszajasza, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the eighth, Jeshaiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

16 Dziewiąty – na Mattaniasza, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the ninth, Mattaniah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

17 Dziesiąty – na Szimejego, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the tenth, Shimei, his sons and his brothers—twelve:

18 Jedenasty – na Azarela, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

eleventh, Azareel, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

19 Dwunasty – na Chaszabiasza, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

20 Trzynasty – na Szubaela, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

21 Czternasty – na Mattitiasza, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

22 Piętnasty – na Jeremota, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

for the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

23 Szesnasty – na Chananiasza, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

24 Siedemnasty – na Joszbekasza, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

25 Osiemnasty – na Chananiego, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

26 Dziewiętnasty – na Mallotiego, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

27 Dwudziesty – na Eliatę, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the twentieth to Eliathah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

28 Dwudziesty pierwszy – na Hotira, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the twenty-first to Hothir, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

29 Dwudziesty drugi – na Giddaltiego, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the twenty-second to Giddalti, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

30 Dwudziesty trzeci – na Machaziota, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the twenty-third to Mahazioth, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

31 Dwudziesty czwarty – na Romamtiezera, na jego synów i braci, razem dwunastu.

the twenty-fourth to Romamti-Ezer, his sons and his brothers—twelve.
