The sons of Japheth, Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech and Tiras.
6 A synowie Gomera: Aszkenaz, Rifat i Togarma.
And, the sons of Gomer, Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.
7 A synowie Jawana: Elisa i Tarszisz, Cytym i Dodanim.
And, the sons of Javan, Elishah, and Tarshish, —Kittim, and Rodanim.
8 Synowie Chama: Kusz, Misraim, Put i Kanaan.
The sons of Ham, Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 A synowie Kusza: Seba, Chaawila, Sabta, Rama i Sabteka. A synowie Ramy: Szeba i Dedan.
And, the sons of Cush, Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And, the sons of Raamah, Sheba, and Dedan.
10 Kusz spłodził Nimroda, który zaczął być mocarzem na ziemi.
And, Cush, begat Nimrod, —he, began to be a mighty one in the earth.
11 Misraim spłodził Ludima, Ananima, Lahabima i Naftuchima;
And, Mizraim, begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12 Oraz Patrusyma, Kasluchima, od których wywodzą się Filistyni, i Kaftoryma.
and Pathrusim, and Casluhim—whence went forth the Philistines, and Caphtorim.
13 Kanaan zaś spłodził Sidona, swego pierworodnego, i Cheta;
And, Canaan, begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth;
14 Jebusytę, Amorytę i Girgaszytę;
and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite;
15 Chiwwitę, Arkitę i Sinitę;
and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite;
16 Arwadytę, Semarytę i Chamatytę.
and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 Synowie Sema: Elam, Assur, Arpachszad, Lud, Aram, Us, Chul, Geter i Meszek.
The sons of Shem, Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, —and Uz, and Hul, and Gethur, and Meshech.
18 Arpachszad spłodził Szelacha, a Szelach spłodził Ebera.
And, Arpachshad, begat Shelah, —and, Shelah, begat Eber.
19 Eberowi zaś urodzili się dwaj synowie: jeden [miał] na imię Peleg, gdyż za jego czasów ziemia została rozdzielona, a imię brata jego – Joktan.
And, unto Eber, were born two sons, —the name of the one, was Peleg, for, in his days, was the earth divided, and, the name of his brother, was Joktan.
20 Joktan spłodził Almodada, Szelefa, Chasarmaweta i Jeracha;
And, Joktan, begat Almodad, and Sheleph, —and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;
21 Hadorama, Uzala i Diklę;
and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah;
22 Ebala, Abimaela i Szeba;
and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba;
23 Ofira, Chawila i Jobaba. Wszyscy ci byli synami Joktana.
and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these, were the sons of Joktan.
24 Sem, Arpachszad, Szelach;
Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah;
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu;
Eber, Peleg, Reu;
26 Serug, Nachor, Terach;
Serug, Nahor, Terah;
27 Abram, to jest Abraham.
Abram—the same, is Abraham.
28 Synowie Abrahama: Izaak i Izmael.
The sons of Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael.
29 A oto [są] ich rody: pierworodny Izmaela – Nebajot, następnie Kedar, Abdeel i Mibsam;
These, are their generations, —the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth, then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam;
30 Miszma, Duma, Massa, Hadad i Tema;
Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema;
31 Jetur, Nafisz i Kedma. [Byli] oni synami Izmaela.
Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These, are the sons of Ishmael.
32 A [oto] synowie Ketury, nałożnicy Abrahama: urodziła ona Zimrana, Jokszana, Medana, Midiana, Jiszbaka i Szuacha. A synowie Jokszana: Szeba i Dedan.
And, the sons of Keturah, the concubine of Abraham, she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah, —and, the sons of Jokshan, Sheba, and Dedan;
33 Synowie Midiana: Efa, Efer, Henoch, Abida i Eldaa. Oni wszyscy [byli] synami Ketury.
and, the sons of Midian, Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these, were the sons of Keturah.
34 I Abraham spłodził Izaaka. Synowie Izaaka: Ezaw i Izrael.
So then Abraham begat Isaac, —the sons of Isaac, were Esau and Israel.
35 A synowie Ezawa: Elifaz, Rehuel, Jeusz, Jalam i Korach.
the sons of Esau, Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.
36 Synowie Elifaza: Teman, Omar, Sefo, Gatam, Kenaz, Timna i Amalek.
The sons of Eliphaz, Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 Synowie Rehuela: Nachat, Zerach, Szamma i Mizza.
The sons of Reuel, Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38 A synowie Seira: Lotan, Szobal, Sibeon, Ana, Diszon, Eser i Diszan.
And, the sons of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, —and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 A synowie Lotana: Chori, Homam; a siostrą Lotana [była] Timna.
And, the sons of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, —and, Lotan’s sister, was Timna.
40 Synowie Szobala: Alian, Manachat, Ebal, Szefo i Onam. A synowie Sibeona: Ajja i Ana.
The sons of Shobal, Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi and Onam. And, the sons of Zibeon, Aiah and Anah.
41 Synowie Any: Diszon. Synowie Diszona: Chamran i Eszban, Jitran i Keran.
The sons of Anah, Dishon, —and, the sons of Dishon, Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 Synowie Esera: Bilhan, Zaawan i Jaakan. Synowie Diszana: Us i Aran.
The sons of Ezer, Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan, Uz and Aran.
43 To byli królowie, którzy panowali w ziemi Edomu, zanim zapanował król nad synami Izraela: Bela, syn Beora, a jego miasto nazywało się Dinhaba.
Now, these, are the kings, who reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned a king of the sons of Israel, —Bela the son of Beor, and, the name of his city, was Dinhabah.
44 A gdy Bela umarł, królował w jego miejsce Jobab, syn Zeracha z Bosry.
And Bela died, —and there reigned in his stead, Jobab son of Zerah, of Bozrah.
45 A gdy Jobab umarł, królował w jego miejsce Chuszam z ziemi Temanitów.
And Jobab died, —and there reigned in his stead, Husham, of the land of the Temanites.
46 A gdy Chuszam umarł, królował w jego miejsce Hadad, syn Bedada, który pobił Midianitów na polu Moabu. A jego miasto nazywało się Awit.
And Husham died, —and there reigned in his stead, Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, and, the name of his city, was Avith.
47 A gdy Hadad umarł, królował w jego miejsce Samla z Masreki.
And Hadad died, —and there reigned in his stead, Samlah of Masrekah.
48 A gdy Samla umarł, królował w jego miejsce Szaul z Rechobot nad Rzeką.
And Samlah died, —and there reigned in his stead, Shaul, of Rehoboth by the River.
49 A gdy Szaul umarł, królował w jego miejsce Baalchanan, syn Akbora.
And Shaul died, —and there reigned in his stead, Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor.
50 A gdy Baalchanan umarł, królował w jego miejsce Hadad. Jego miasto nazywało się Pai, a jego żona miała na imię Mehetabel, [była to] córka Matredy, córki Mezahaba.
And Baal-hanan died, —and there reigned in his stead, Hadad, and, the name of his city, was Pai, —and, the name of his wife, was Mehetabel, daughter of Matred, daughter of Mezahab.
51 I Hadad umarł. A książętami Edomu byli: książę Timna, książę Alia, książę Jetet;
And Hadad died. And there were chiefs of Edom: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth;
52 Książę Oholibama, książę Ela, książę Pinon;
chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon;
53 Książę Kenaz, książę Teman, książę Mibsar;
chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar;
54 Książę Magdiel, książę Iram. Oni [byli] książętami Edomu.
chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These, were the chiefs of Edom.
