1 Pan króluje, oblekł się w dostojność; oblekł się Pan w możność, i przepasał się; utwierdził też okrąg świata, aby się nie poruszył.

The Praise of a Canticle, of David himself. In the time before the Sabbath, when the earth was founded. The Lord has reigned. He has been clothed with beauty. The Lord has been clothed with strength, and he has girded himself. Yet he has also confirmed the world, which will not be moved.

2 Utwierdzona jest stolica twoja przed wszystkiemi czasy; tyś jest od wieczności.

My throne is prepared from of old. You are from everlasting.

3 Podniosły rzeki, o Panie! podniosły rzeki szum swój; podniosły rzeki nawałności swoje.

The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods have lifted up their waves,

4 Nad szum wielkich wód, nad mocne wały morskie mocniejszy jest Pan na wysokości.

before the noise of many waters. Wondrous are the surges of the sea; wondrous is the Lord on high.

5 Świadectwa twoje są bardzo pewne; świętobliwość, Panie! jest domu twego ozdobą na wieczne dni.

Your testimonies have been made exceedingly trustworthy. Sanctity befits your house, O Lord, with length of days.
