1 Przedniejszemu śpiewakowi, na Halmutlabben pieśń Dawidowa. Będę wysławiał Pana ze wszystkiego serca mego; opowiadać będę wszysteki cuda twoje.
For the end, a Psalm of David, concerning the secrets of the Son. I will give thanks to you, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will recount all your wonderful works.
2 Rozweselę się, i rozraduję się w tobie; będę śpiewał imieniowi twemu, o Najwyższy!
I will be glad and exult in you: I will sing to your name, O you Most High.
3 Że się obrócili nieprzyjaciele moi na wstecz: upadli i poginęli od obliczności twojej.
When mine enemies are turned back, they shall be feeble and perish at your presence.
4 Boś ty odprawił sąd mój, i sprawę moję; zasiadłeś na stolicy, Sędzia sprawiedliwy.
For you have maintained my cause and my right; you sat on the throne, that judge righteousness.
5 Rozgromiłeś pogan, zatraciłeś złośnika, imię ich wygładziłeś na wieki wieczne.
You have rebuked the nations, and the ungodly one has perished; you have blotted out their name for ever, even for ever and ever.
6 O nieprzyjacielu! azaż wykonane są spustoszenia twoie na wieczność? Poburzyłżeś miasta? i owszem ich samych pamiątka zginęła z niemi.
The swords of the enemy have failed utterly; and you have destroyed cities: their memorial has been destroyed with a noise,
7 Ale Pan na wieki trwa; zgotował stolicę swoję na sąd.
but the Lord endures for ever: he has prepared his throne for judgement.
8 On będzie sądził okrąg ziemi w sprawiedliwości, i osądzi narody w prawości.
And he will judge the world in righteousness, he will judge the nations in uprightness.
9 I będzie Pan ucieczką ubogiemu, ucieczką czasu ucisku.
The Lord also is become a refuge for the poor, a seasonable help, in affliction.
10 I będą ufać w tobie, którzy znają imię twoje; albowiem nie opuszczasz tych, Panie! którzy cię szukają.
And let them that know your name hope in you: for you, O Lord, have not failed them that diligently seek you.
11 Śpiewajcież Panu, który mieszka na Syonie; opowiadajcie między narodami sprawy jego.
Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Sion: declare his dealings amongst the nations.
12 Boć on szuka krwi, i mają w pamięci, a nie zapomina wołania utrapionych.
For he remembered them, [in] making inquisition for blood: he has not forgotten the supplication of the poor.
13 Zmiłuj się nademną, Panie! obacz utrapienie moje od tych, którzy mię mają w nienawiści, ty, co mię wyrywasz z bram śmierci.
Have mercy upon me, O Lord; look upon my affliction [which I suffer] of mine enemies, you that lift me up from the gates of death:
14 Abym opowiadał wszystkie chwały twoje w bramach córki Syońskiej, weseląc się w zbawieniu twojem.
that I may declare all your praises in the gates of the daughter of Sion: I will exult in your salvation.
15 Zanurzeni są poganie w dole, który uczynili; w sieci, którą skrycie zastawili, uwięzła noga ich.
The heathen are caught in the destruction which they planned: in the very snare which they hid is their foot taken.
16 Oznajmił się Pan, gdy uczynił sąd; w sprawie rąk swoich się złośnik usidlił. Rzecz godna rozmyślania! (Sela)
The Lord is known as executing judgements: the sinner is taken in the works of his hands. (A song of, Pause)
Let sinners be driven away into Hades, [even] all the nations that forget God. (Sheol h7585)
18 Bo nie będzie na wieki zapamiętany ubogi; oczekiwanie nędznych nie zginie na wieki.
For the poor shall not be forgotten for ever: the patience of the needy ones shall not perish for ever.
19 Powstańże, Panie! niech się nie zmacnia śmiertelny człowiek; a niech narody osądzone będą przed tobą.
Arise, O Lord, let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged before you.
20 Panie! puść na nie strach, aby poznały narody, iż są ludźmi śmiertelnymi. (Sela)
Appoint, O Lord, a lawgiver over them: let the heathen know that they are men. (Pause)
