1 Modlitwa Dawidowa. Nakłoń, Panie! ucha twego, a wysłuchaj mię; bomci nędzny i ubogi.
A Prayer of David. O Lord, incline thine ear, and hearken to me; for I am poor and needy.
2 Strzeżże duszy mojej, bom jest ten, którego ty miłujesz; zachowaj sługę twego, Boże mój! który ma nadzieję w tobie.
Preserve my soul, for I am holy; save thy servant, O God, who hopes in thee.
3 Zmiłuj się nademną, Panie, albowiem do ciebie na każdy dzień wołam.
Pity me, O Lord: for to thee will I cry all the day.
4 Rozwesel duszę sługi twego; bo do ciebie, o Panie! duszę swą podnoszę.
Rejoice the sold of thy servant: for to thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.
5 Boś ty, Panie! dobry i litościwy, i wielce miłosierny wszystkim, którzy cię wzywają.
For thou, O Lord, art kind, and gentle; and plenteous in mercy to all that call upon thee.
6 Wysłuchajże, Panie! modlitwę moję, a posłuchaj pilnie głosu prośby mojej.
Give ear to my prayer, o Lord; and attend to the voice of my supplication.
7 Wzywam cię w dzień ucisku mego; bo mię ty wysłuchasz.
In the day of my trouble I cried to thee: for thou didst hear me.
8 Nie masz żadnego podobnego tobie między bogami, o Panie! i nie masz takowych spraw, jako są twoje.
There is none like to thee, O Lord, among the god; and there are no [works] like to thy works.
9 Wszystkie narody, któreś ty stworzył, przychodząc kłaniać się będą przed obliczem twojem, Panie! i wielbić będą imię twoje.
All nations whom thou hast made shall come, and shall worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.
10 Boś ty jest wielki, a czynisz cuda; tyś sam jest Bogiem.
For thou art great, and doest wonders: thou art the only [and] the great God.
11 Naucz mię, Panie, drogi twojej, abym chodził w prawdzie twojej, a ustanów serce moje w bojaźni imienia twego;
Guide me, O Lord, in thy way, and I will walk in thy truth: let my heart rejoice, that I may fear thy name.
12 A będę cię chwalił, Panie, Boże mój! ze wszystkiego serca mego, i będę wielbił imię twoje na wieki,
I will give thee thanks, O Lord my God, with all my heart; and I will glorify thy name for ever.
13 Ponieważ miłosierdzie twoje wielkie jest nademną, a tyś wyrwał duszę moję z dołu głębokiego. (Sheol h7585)
For thy mercy is great toward me; and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. (Sheol h7585)
14 O Boże! powstali hardzi przeciwko mnie, a rota okrutników szukała duszy mojej, ci, którzy cię przed oczyma nie mają.
O God, transgressors have risen up against me, and an assembly of violent [men] have sought my life; and have not set thee before them.
15 Ale ty, Panie, Boże miłosierny i litościwy, i nierychły ku gniewu, i wielce miłosierny, i prawdziwy!
But thou, O Lord God, art compassionate and merciful, long-suffering, and abundant in mercy and true.
16 Wejrzyj na mię, a zmiłuj się nademną, dajże moc twoję słudze twemu, a zachowaj syna służebnicy twojej.
Look thou upon me, and have mercy upon me: give thy strength to thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.
17 Okaż mi znak dobroci twojej, aby to widząc ci, którzy mię mają w nienawiści, zawstydzeni byli, żeś mię ty, Panie! poratował, i pocieszyłeś mię.
Establish with me a token for good; and let them that hate me see [it] and be ashamed; because thou, O Lord, hast helped me, and comforted me.
