1 Przedniejszemu śpiewakowi synom Korego psalm. Łaskęś, Panie! niekiedy pokazywał ziemi twojej; przywróciłeś zasię z niewoli Jakóba.

To the chief Musician. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm. Thou hast been favourable, Jehovah, unto thy land; thou hast turned the captivity of Jacob:

2 Odpuściłeś nieprawość ludu twojego, pokryłeś wszelki grzech ich. (Sela)

Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people; thou hast covered all their sin. (Selah)

3 Uśmierzyłeś wszystek gniew twój, odwróciłeś od zapalczywości popędliwość twoję.

Thou hast withdrawn all thy wrath; thou hast turned from the fierceness of thine anger.

4 Przywróć nas, o Boże zbawienia naszego; a uczyń wstręt gniewowi swemu przeciwko nam.

Bring us back, O God of our salvation, and cause thine indignation toward us to cease.

5 Izali na wieki gniewać się będziesz na nas? a rozciągniesz gniew twój od rodzaju do rodzaju?

Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger from generation to generation?

6 Izali ty obróciwszy się, nie ożywisz nas, tak, aby się lud twój rozradował w tobie?

Wilt thou not revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee?

7 Panie! okaż nam miłosierdzie twoje, a daj nam zbawienie swoje.

Shew us thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, and grant us thy salvation.

8 Ale posłucham, co rzecze Bóg, on Pan mocny; zaiste mówi pokój do ludu swego, i do świętych swoich, byle się jedno zaś do głupstwa nie wracali.

I will hear what God, Jehovah, will speak; for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his godly ones: but let them not turn again to folly.

9 Zaisteć bliskie jest zbawienie jego tym, którzy się go boją; a przebywać będzie chwała jego w ziemi naszej.

Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

10 Miłosierdzie i prawda spotkają się z sobą; sprawiedliwość i pokój pocałują się.

Loving-kindness and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other:

11 Prawda z ziemi wyrośnie, a sprawiedliwość z nieba wyjrzy.

Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from the heavens.

12 Da też Pan i doczesne dobra, a ziemia nasza wyda owoc swój.

Jehovah also will give what is good, and our land shall yield its increase.

13 Sprawi, że sprawiedliwość przed twarzą jego pójdzie, gdy postawi na drodze nogi swoje.

Righteousness shall go before him, and shall set his footsteps on the way.
