Psalmów 81
1 Przedniejszemu śpiewakowi na Gittyt, Asafowi. Wesoło śpiewajcie Bogu mocy naszej; wykrzykajcie Bogu Jakóbowemu.
For the Chief Musician; set to the Gittith. A Psalm of Asaph. Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.
2 Weźmijcie psalm, przydajcie bębęn, i wdzięczną harfę z lutnią.
Take up the psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.
3 Zatrąbcie w trąbę na nowiu miesiąca, czasu ułożonego, w dzień święta naszego uroczystego.
Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, at the full moon, on our solemn feast day.
4 Albowiem jest postanowienie w Izraelu, prawo Boga Jakóbowego.
For it is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob.
5 Na świadectwo w Józefie wystawił je, kiedy był wyszedł przeciw ziemi egipskiej, kędym słyszał język, któregom nie rozumiał.
He appointed it in Joseph for testimony, when he went out over the land of Egypt: [where] I heard a language that I knew not.
6 Wybawiłem, mówi Bóg, od brzemienia ramię jego, a ręce jego od dźwigania kotłów uwolnione.
I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were freed from the basket.
7 Gdyś mię w ucisku wzywał. wyrwałem cię, i wysłuchałem cię w skrytości gromu, doświadczałem cię u wód poswarku. (Sela)
Thou calledst in trouble, and I answered thee in the secret place of thunder; I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. (Selah)
8 Tedym rzekł: Słuchaj, ludu mój! a oświadczę się przeciwko tobie, o Izraelu! będzieszli mię słuchał.
Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wouldest hearken unto me!
9 I nie będziesz miał boga cudzego, ani się będziesz kłaniał bogu obcemu;
There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.
10 (Albowiem Jam Pan, Bóg twój, którym cię wywiódł z ziemi Egipskiej; ) otwórz usta twoje, a napełnięć je.
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
11 Ale lud mój nie usłuchał głosu mego, a Izrael nie przestał na mnie.
But my people hearkened not to my voice; and Israel would none of me.
12 Przetoż puściłem ich za żądzami serca ich, i chodzili za radami swemi.
So I let them go after the stubbornness of their heart, that they might walk in their own counsels.
13 Oby mię był lud mój posłuchał, a Izrael drogami mojemi chodził!
Oh that my people would hearken unto me, that Israel would walk in my ways!
14 W krótkim czasie bym był nieprzyjaciół ich poniżył, a przeciw nieprzyjaciołom ich obróciłbym rękę swą.
I should soon subdue their enemies, and turn my hand against their adversaries.
15 Ci, którzy w nienawiści mają Pana, choć obłudnie, poddaćby się im musieli, i byłby czas ich aż na wieki.
The haters of the LORD should submit themselves unto him: but their time should endure for ever.
16 I karmiłbym ich tłustością pszenicy, a miodem z opoki nasyciłbym ich.
He should feed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I satisfy thee.
