Psalmów 75

1 Przedniejszemu śpiewakowi, jako: Nie zatracaj, psalm i pieśń Asafowa. Wysławiamy cię, Boże! wysławiamy: bo bliskie imię twoje; opowiadają to dziwne sprawy twoje.

To him that excelleth. Destroy not. A Psalme or song committed toAsaph. We will prayse thee, O God, we will prayse thee, for thy Name is neere: therefore they will declare thy wonderous workes.

2 Gdy przyjdzie czas ułożony, ja sprawiedliwie sądzić będę.

When I shall take a conuenient time, I will iudge righteously.

3 Rozstąpiła się ziemia, i wszyscy obywatele jej; ale ja utwierdzę słupy jej. (Sela)

The earth and all the inhabitantes thereof are dissolued: but I will establish the pillars of it. (Selah)

4 Rzekę szalonym: Nie szalejcie, a niepobożnym: Nie podnoście rogów.

I saide vnto the foolish, Be not so foolish, and to the wicked, Lift not vp the horne.

5 Nie podnoście przeciwko Najwyższemu rogów swych, a nie mówcie krnąbrnie,

Lift not vp your horne on high, neither speake with a stiffe necke.

6 Bo nie od wschodu, ani od zachodu, ani od puszczy przychodzi wywyższenie.

For to come to preferment is neither from the East, nor from the West, nor from the South,

7 Ale Bóg sędzia, tego poniża, a owego wywyższa.

But God is the iudge: he maketh lowe and he maketh hie.

8 Zaiste kielich jest w rękach Pańskich, a ten wina mętnego nalany; z tegoż nalewać będzie, tak, że i drożdże jego wyssą i wypiją wszyscy niepobożni ziemi.

For in the hand of the Lord is a cup, and the wine is red: it is full mixt, and he powreth out of the same: surely all the wicked of the earth shall wring out and drinke the dregges thereof.

9 Ale ja będę opowiadał sprawy Pańskie na wieki, będę śpiewał Bogu Jakóbowemu.

But I will declare for euer, and sing prayses vnto the God of Iaakob.

10 A wszystkie rogi niezbożnikom postrącam; ale rogi sprawiedliwego będą wywyższone.

All the hornes of the wicked also will I breake: but the hornes of the righteous shalbe exalted.
