1 Przedniejszemu śpiewakowi pieśń psalmu.
To the Chief Musician. A Melodious Song. Make a joyful noise unto God, all the earth;
2 Wykrzykuj Bogu wszystka ziemo! Śpiewajcież psalmy na chwałę imienia jego, ogłaszajcie sławę i chwałę jego.
Praise ye in song the glory of his Name, Celebrate the glory of his praise:
3 Rzeczcież Bogu: Jakoś straszny w sprawach twoich! Dla wielkości mocy twojej obłudnieć się podadzą nieprzyjaciele twoi.
Say unto God—How fearful in thy doings, Through the abounding of thy power, shall thy foes come cringing unto thee;
4 Wszystkać się ziemia kłaniać, i śpiewać ci będzie; psalm śpiewać będzie imieniowi twemu. (Sela)
All the earth, shall bow themselves down to thee, And sing praises unto thee, Shall praise in song thy Name. (Selah)
5 Pójdźcież, a oglądajcie sprawy Boże; straszny jest w sprawach swoich przy synach ludzkich.
Come and see the doings of God, —Fearful in deed toward the sons of men:
6 Obrócił morze w ziemię suchą; rzekę przeszli suchą nogą; tameśmyć się weselili w nim.
He turned the sea into dry land, Through the stream, crossed they over on foot, There did we rejoice in him:
7 Panuje w mocy swej na wieki; oczy jego patrzą na narody, odporni nie wywyższą się. (Sela)
Who ruleth, in his might, unto times age abiding, His eyes, over the nations, keep watch, The rebellious, let them not exalt themselves. (Selah)
8 Błogosławcież narody Boga naszego, i ogłaszajcie głos chwały jego.
Bless our God, O ye peoples, And cause to be heard, the sound of his praise; —
9 Zachował przy zdrowiu duszę naszę, a nie dał się powinąć nodze naszej.
Who hath set our soul among the living, And hath not suffered, our foot, to slip.
10 Albowiemeś nas doświadczył, o Boże! wypławiłeś nas ogniem, tak jako srebro pławione bywa.
For thou didst prove us, O God, Thou didst refine us, according to the refining of silver:
11 Nagnałeś nas był w sieć, a ścisnąłeś uciskiem biodra nasze.
Thou didst bring us into the hunter’s net, Thou didst lay a load upon our loins;
12 Wsadziłeś człowieka na głowę naszę; weszliśmy byli w ogień i w wodę, wszakżeś nas wywiódł na ochłodę.
Thou didst let men ride at our head; We went into fire and into water, But thou didst bring us forth into freedom.
13 Przetoż wnijdę do domu twego z całopaleniem, a oddam ci śluby moje.
I will enter thy house with ascending-sacrifices, I will pay unto thee my vows,
14 Któreć ślubowały wargi moje, i wyrzekły usta moje w utrapieniu mojem.
Which my lips uttered, And my mouth spake, in my distress.
15 Całopalenie z tłustych baranów będęć ofiarował z kadzeniem, będęć ofiarował woły i kozły. (Sela)
Ascending-sacrifices of fatlings, will I cause to ascend unto thee, With the perfume of rams, I will offer bulls, with he-goats. (Selah)
16 Pójdźcie, słuchajcie, a będę opowiadał wszystkim, którzy się boicie Boga, co uczynił duszy mojej.
Come! hearken—that I may recount, all ye reverers of God, What he hath done for my soul: —
17 Do niegom usty swemi wołał, a wywyższałem go językiem moim.
Unto him—with my mouth, did I cry, And high praise was under my tongue.
18 Bym był patrzał na nieprawość w sercu mojem, nie wysłuchałby był Pan.
If, iniquity, I had cared for in my heart, My Lord, had not heard me!
19 Aleć zaiste wysłuchał Bóg, a był pilen głosu modlitwy mojej.
But in truth, God hath heard, He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Błogosławiony Bóg, który nie odrzucił modlitwy mojej, ani odjął miłosierdzia swego odemnie.
Blessed be God, Who hath not turned away my prayer, Nor his own lovingkindness from me.
