Psalmów 46
1 Przedniejszemu śpiewakowi z synów Korego, na Alamot pieśń. Bóg jest ucieczką i siłą naszą, ratunkiem we wszelkim ucisku najpewniejszym.
To the Overseer. — By sons of Korah. 'For the Virgins.' — A song. God [is] to us a refuge and strength, A help in adversities found most surely.
2 Przetoż się bać nie będziemy, choćby się poruszyła ziemia, choćby się przeniosły góry w pośród morza;
Therefore we fear not in the changing of earth, And in the slipping of mountains Into the heart of the seas.
3 Choćby zaszumiały, a wzburzyły się wody jego, i zatrzęsły się góry od nawałności jego. (Sela)
Roar — troubled are its waters, Mountains they shake in its pride. (Selah)
4 Strumienie rzeki jego rozweselają miasto Boże, najświętsze z przybytków najwyższego.
A river — its rivulets rejoice the city of God, Thy holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.
5 Bóg jest w pośrodku jego, nie będzie poruszone; poratuje go Bóg zaraz z poranku.
God [is] in her midst — she is not moved, God doth help her at the turn of the morn!
6 Gdy się wzburzyły narody, a zatrząsnęły się królestwa, Pan wydał głos swój, i rozpłynęła się ziemia.
Troubled have been nations, Moved have been kingdoms, He hath given forth with His voice, earth melteth.
7 Pan zastępów jest z nami; twierdzą wysoką jest nam Bóg Jakóbowy. (Sela)
Jehovah of Hosts [is] with us, A tower for us [is] the God of Jacob. (Selah)
8 Pójdźcie, oglądajcie sprawy Pańskie, jakie uczynił spustoszenie na ziemi;
Come ye, see the works of Jehovah, Who hath done astonishing things in the earth,
9 Który uśmierza wojny aż do kończyn ziemi, łuk kruszy, i oręże łamie, a wozy ogniem pali.
Causing wars to cease, Unto the end of the earth, the bow he shivereth, And the spear He hath cut asunder, Chariots he doth burn with fire.
10 Mówiąc: Uspokójcie się, a wiedzcie, żem Ja Bóg; będę wywyższony między narodami, będę wywyższony na ziemi.
Desist, and know that I [am] God, I am exalted among nations, I am exalted in the earth.
11 Pan zastępów z nami; twierdzą wysoką jest nam Bóg Jakóbowy. (Sela)
