Psalmów 35

1 Psalm Dawidowy. Rozpieraj się, Panie! z tymi, którzy się ze mną spierają; a walcz przeciwko tym, którzy walczą przeciwko mnie.

[A Psalm] of David. Plead [my cause], O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.

2 Porwij pukierz i tarczę, a powstań na ratunek mój.

Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help.

3 Dobądź włóczni, a staw się na drodze przeciwko tym, którzy mię prześladują. Rzeczże duszy mojej: Jam jest zbawieniem twojem.

Draw out also the spear, and stop [the way] against them that persecute me: say to my soul, I [am] thy salvation.

4 Niech będą pohańbieni i zawstydzeni, którzy szukają duszy mojej; niech tył podadzą, i niech będą zawstydzeni, którzy mi źle myślą.

Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.

5 Niech będą jako plewy przed wiatrem, a Anioł Pański niechaj ich rozproszy.

Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase [them].

6 Niech będzie droga ich ciemna i śliska, Anioł Pański niech ich goni.

Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.

7 Albowiem bez przyczyny zastawili na mię w dole sieci swoje, i bez przyczyny ukopali dół duszy mojej.

For without cause they have hid for me their net [in] a pit, [which] without cause they have digged for my soul.

8 Niechaj na nich przyjdzie spustoszenie, którego się nie spodziewali; a sieć ich, którą zastawili, niech ich ułowi na zginienie, a niech w nią wpadną.

Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.

9 Ale dusza moja niech się rozraduje w Panu, niech się rozweseli w zbawieniu jego.

And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.

10 Tedy wszystkie kości moje rzeką: Panie! któż podobny tobie? który wyrywasz utrapionego od mocniejszego nadeń, a nędznego i ubogiego od drapieżcy jego.

All my bones shall say, LORD, who [is] like thee, who deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, even the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?

11 Powstawają świadkowie fałszywi, a o czem nie wiem, pytają mię.

False witnesses arose; they laid to my charge [things] that I knew not.

12 Oddawają mi złem za dobre, chcąc mię pozbawić duszy mojej,

They rewarded me evil for good [to] the spoiling of my soul.

13 Chociażem się ja w wór obłóczył, gdy oni chorowali; trapiłem postem duszę moję, i modliłem się często sam u siebie za nimi.

But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing [was] sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into my own bosom.

14 Jako do przyjaciela, jako do brata mego, ustawiczniem chadzał; poniżałem się jako ten, który się smuci, chodząc po matce w żałobie.

I behaved myself as though [he had been] my friend [or] brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth [for his] mother.

15 Lecz oni, gdym ja chorował, weselili się, i zbierali się; zbierali się przeciwko mnie, jakoby byli dla mnie utrapieni, czegom ja nie spostrzegł; szczypali mię, a nie milczeli.

But in my adversity they rejoiced, and assembled themselves: [yes], the abjects assembled themselves against me, and I knew [it] not; they did tear [me], and ceased not:

16 Z obłudnikami, z naśmiewcami, z pochlebcami zgrzytali na mię zębami swemi.

With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.

17 Panie! długoż na to patrzeć będziesz? wyrwijże duszę moję od zguby ich, od lwiąt jedynaczkę moję.

LORD, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.

18 Będę cię wysławiał w zgromadzeniu wielkiem; między ludem wielkim będę cię chwalił.

I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among many people.

19 Niech się nie weselą ze mnie, którzy mi są nieprzyjaciółmi bez przyczyny; którzy mię mają w nienawiści niesłusznie, niech nie mrugają okiem.

Let not them that are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: [neither] let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.

20 Albowiem nie mówią o pokoju; ale przeciwko spokojnym na ziemi zdradliwe słowa zmyślają.

For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against [them that are] quiet in the land.

21 Owszem, rozdzierają na mię gębę swą, mówiąc: Ehej! ehej! widzić to oko nasze.

Yes, they opened their mouth wide against me, [and] said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen [it].

22 Widzisz to, Panie! nie milczże Panie! nie oddalaj się odemnie.

[This] thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O LORD, be not far from me.

23 Obudźże się, a ocuć dla sądu mego, Boże mój i Panie mój! dla sprawy mojej.

Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, [even] to my cause, my God and my LORD.

24 Sądź mnie według sprawiedliwości twojej, Panie Boże mój! a niech się nie weselą nademną.

Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.

25 Niech nie mówią w sercu swojem: Ehej, duszo masza! niech nie mówią: Pożarliśmy go.

Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

26 Niechajże będą pohańbieni, i zawstydzeni wszyscy weselący się ze złego mego; niech będą obleczeni w hańbę, i w sromotę, którzy się chlubią przeciwko mnie.

Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at my hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify [themselves] against me.

27 Ale ci, którzy się kochają w sprawiedliwości mojej, niech śpiewają i radują się, a niech mówią ustawicznie: Niech będzie uwielbiony Pan, który życzy pokoju słudze swemu.

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yes, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, who hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

28 A język mój będzie opowiadał sprawiedliwość twoję, i na każdy dzień chwałę twoję.

And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness [and] of thy praise all the day long.
