Psalmów 29

1 Psalm Dawidowy. Oddawajcie Panu synowie mocarzów, oddawajcie Panu chwałę i moc.

A Melody of David. Give to Yahweh, ye sons of the mighty, —Give to Yahweh, [both] glory and strength:

2 Oddawajcie Panu chwałę imienia jego; kłaniajcie się Panu w ozdobie świętobliwości.

Give to Yahweh, the glory of his Name, Bow down to Yahweh, in the adornment of holiness.

3 Głos Pański nad wodami; Bóg chwalebny wzbudza gromy, Pan nad wodami wielkiemi.

The voice of Yahweh, is upon the waters, —The GOD of glory, hath thundered, Yahweh, is upon mighty waters;

4 Głos Pański mocny, głos Pański wielmożny,

The voice of Yahweh, is with power, The voice of Yahweh, is with majesty;

5 Głos Pański cedry łamie; kruszy Pan cedry Libańskie,

The voice of Yahweh, is breaking cedars, Now hath Yahweh, broken down, the cedars of Lebanon!

6 I czyni, że skaczą jako cielęta; Liban i Syryjon jako młody jednorożec.

And hath made them leap like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion, like the bull-calf of wild-oxen;

7 Głos Pański krzesze płomień ognisty.

The voice of Yahweh, is cleaving out flames of fire;

8 Na głos Pański z bólem pustynia rodzą; z bólem rodzi na głos Pański pustynai Kades.

The voice of Yahweh, bringeth birth-pains upon the wilderness; Yahweh bringeth birth-pains upon the wilderness of Kadesh!

9 Na głos Pański z bólem rodzą łanie, i odkrywają się lasy; ale w kościele swym opowiada wszystkę chwałę swoję.

The voice of Yahweh, causeth the gazelles to bring forth, and hath stript forests; and, in his own temple, every one there, is saying, Glory!

10 Pan nad potopem siedział, i będzie siedział Pan, będąc królem na wieki.

Yahweh, at the Flood, was seated, And Yahweh hath taken his seat, as king, unto times age-abiding.

11 Pan doda mocy ludowi swojemu; Pan będzie błogosławił ludowi swemu w pokoju.

Yahweh, will give, strength to his people, —Yahweh, will bless his people with prosperity.
