Psalmów 146

1 Halleluja.

Praise ye the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul!

2 Chwal, duszo moja! Pana. Chwalić będę Pana, pókim żyw; będę śpiewał Bogu memu, póki mię staje.

I will praise the LORD, as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God, while I have my being.

3 Nie ufajcie w książętach, ani w żadnym synu ludzkim, w którym nie masz wybawienia.

Put not your trust in princes, In the son of man, in whom is no help!

4 Wynijdzie duch jego, i nawróci się do ziemi swojej; w onże dzień zginą wszystkie myśli jego.

His breath goeth forth; he returneth to the dust; In that very day his plans perish.

5 Błogosławiony, którego Bóg Jakóbowy jest pomocnikiem, którego nadzieja jest w Panu, Bogu jego;

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help; Whose hope is in the LORD, his God;

6 Który uczynił niebo, i ziemię, morze, i wszystko, co w nich jest, który przestrzega prawdy aż na wieki;

Who made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that is therein; Who keepeth truth for ever;

7 Który czyni sprawiedliwość ukrzywdzonym, i daje chleb zgłodniałym; Pan rozwiązuje więźniów.

Who executeth judgment for the oppressed; Who giveth food to the hungry. The LORD setteth free the prisoners;

8 Pan otwiera oczy ślepych; Pan podnosi upadłych; Pan miłuje sprawiedliwych.

The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind; The LORD raiseth up them that are bowed down; The LORD loveth the righteous.

9 Pan strzeże przychodniów, sierotce i wdowie pomaga; ale drogę niepobożnych podwraca.

The LORD preserveth the strangers; He relieveth the fatherless and the widow; But the way of the wicked he maketh crooked.

10 Pan będzie królował na wieki; Bóg twój, o Syonie! od narodu do narodu. Halleluja.

The LORD shall reign for ever; Thy God, O Zion! to all generations! Praise ye the LORD!
