1 Pieśń stopni. Z głębokości wołam do ciebie, o Panie!

A Song of Degrees. Out of the depths have I cried to you, O Lord.

2 Panie! wysłuchaj głos mój: nakłoń uszów twych do głosu prośb moich.

O Lord, listen to my voice; let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.

3 Panie! będzieszli nieprawości upatrywał, Panie! któż się zostoi?

If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

4 Aleć u ciebie jest odpuszczenie, aby się ciebie bano.

For with you is forgiveness: for your name's sake

5 Oczekuję na Pana; oczekuje dusza moja, i jeszcze oczekuje na słowo jego.

have I waited for you, O Lord, my soul has waited for your word.

6 Dusza moja oczekuje Pana, pilniej niż straż świtania, która strzeże aż do poranku.

My soul has hoped in the Lord; from the morning watch till night.

7 Oczekujże, Izraelu! na Pana; albowiem u Pana jest miłosierdzie, a obfite u niego odkupienie.

Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

8 Onci sam odkupi Izraela od wszystkich nieprawości jego.

And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
