1 Nie nam, Panie! nie nam, ale imieniowi twemu daj chwałę dla miłosierdzia twego, i dla prawdy twojej.
Not to us, O YHWH, not to us, But to Your Name give glory, For Your kindness, for Your truth.
2 Czemuż mają mówić poganie: Gdzież teraz jest Bóg ich?
Why do the nations say, “Where, pray, [is] their God?”
3 Wszakże Bóg nasz jest na niebie, czyniąc wszystko, co mu się podoba.
And our God [is] in the heavens, All that He has pleased He has done.
4 Ale bałwany ich są srebro i złoto, robota rąk ludzkich.
Their idols [are] silver and gold, work of man’s hands,
5 Usta mają, a nie mówią; oczy mają, a nie widzą.
They have a mouth, and they do not speak, They have eyes, and they do not see,
6 Uszy mają, a nie słyszą; nozdrze mają, a nie wonieją.
They have ears, and they do not hear, They have a nose, and they do not smell,
7 Ręce mają, a nie macają; nogi mają, a nie chodzą, ani wołają gardłem swojem.
Their hands, but they do not handle, Their feet, and they do not walk;
8 Niech im podobni będą, którzy je czynią, i wszyscy, którzy w nich ufają.
Nor do they mutter through their throat, Their makers are like them, Everyone who is trusting in them.
9 Izraelu! ufaj w Panu; bo on jest pomocnikiem ich i tarczą ich.
O Israel, trust in YHWH, “He [is] their help and their shield.”
10 Domie Aaronowy! ufajcie w Panu; on jest pomocnikiem, i tarczą ich.
O house of Aaron, trust in YHWH, “He [is] their help and their shield.”
11 Którzy się boicie Pana, ufajcie w Panu; on jest pomocnikiem i tarczą ich.
You fearing YHWH, trust in YHWH, “He [is] their help and their shield.”
12 Pan będzie pamiętał na nas, będzie błogosławił; będzie błogosławił domowi Izraelskiemu, będzie błogosławił domowi Aaronowemu.
YHWH has remembered us, He blesses, He blesses the house of Israel, He blesses the house of Aaron,
13 Będzie błogosławił tym, którzy się boją Pana, małym i wielkim.
He blesses those fearing YHWH, The small with the great.
14 Rozmnoży was Pan, was i synów waszych.
YHWH adds to you—to you and to your sons.
15 Błogosławieniście wy od Pana, który stworzył niebo i ziemię.
Blessed [are] you of YHWH, Maker of the heavens and earth,
16 Niebiosa są niebiosa Pańskie; ale ziemię dał synom ludzkim.
The heavens—the heavens [are] YHWH’s, And He has given the earth to sons of men;
17 Umarli nie będą chwalili Pana, ani kto z tych, co zstępują do miejsca milczenia.
The dead do not praise YAH, Nor any going down to silence.
18 Ale my będziemy błogosławili Panu, odtąd aż na wieki. Halleluja.
And we, we bless YAH, From now on, and for all time. Praise YAH!
