Psalmów 109
1 Przedniejszemu śpiewakowi psalm Dawidowy. O Boże chwały mojej! nie milcz;
To the Chief Musician. David’s. A Melody. O God of my praise, do not be silent;
2 Bo się usta niepobożnego, i usta kłamliwe przeciwko mnie otworzyły; mówili przeciwko mnie językiem kłamliwym,
For, the mouth of the lawless one and the mouth of the deceiver, against me, are open, They have spoken to me with false tongue;
3 A słowy jadowitemi ogarnęli mię, walcząc przeciwko mnie bez wszekiej przyczyny.
And, with words of hatred, have they surrounded me, and have made war upon me without cause:
4 Przeciwili mi się za miłość moję, chociażem się za nich modlił.
For my love, they have been accusing me, while, I, was at prayer:
5 Oddawają mi złem za dobre; a nienawiścią za miłość moję.
Yea they have returned unto me—Evil for good; and, Hatred for my love.
6 Postawże nad nim bezbożnika, a przeciwnik niech stoi po prawej ręce jego.
Set in charge over him, one who is lawless, and let, an accuser, stand at his right hand;
7 Gdy przed sądem stanie, niech wynijdzie potępionym, a modlitwa jego niech się w grzech obróci.
When he is judged, let him go out condemned, and let, his own petition, become a sin;
8 Niech będą dni jego krótkie, a przełożeństwo jego niech inny weźmie.
Let his days become few, his overseership, let another take;
9 Niech dzieci jego będą sierotami, a żona jego wdową.
Let his children become fatherless, and his wife a widow;
10 Niech będą biegunami i tułaczami synowie jego, niech żebrzą, a niech żebrzą wychodząc z pustek swoich.
Let his children, wander about, and beg, Let them be driven out of their ruins;
11 Niech lichwiarz załapi wszystko, co jest jego, a niech obcy rozchwycą pracę jego.
Let the creditor take aim at all that he hath, and let strangers prey on the fruit of his toil;
12 Niech nie będzie ktoby mu miłosierdzie pokazał, niech nie będzie, ktoby się zmiłował nad sierotami jego.
Let him have no one to continue lovingkindness, and there be none to favour his fatherless children;
13 Potomkowie jego niech z korzenia wycięci będą; w drugiem pokoleniu niech będzie wygładzone imię ich.
Let his posterity be for cutting off, In another generation, let their name be wiped out;
14 Niech przyjdzie na pamięć nieprawość przodków jego przed Panem, a grzech matki jego niechaj nie będzie zgładzony.
Remembered be the iniquity of his fathers against Yahweh, and, the sin of his mother, let it not be wiped out;
15 Niech będą przed Panem ustawicznie, ażby wygładził z ziemi pamiątkę ich,
Let them be before Yahweh continually, and let the memory of them, be cut off out of the earth.
16 Przeto, że nie pamiętał, aby czynił miłosierdzie, ale prześladował człowieka nędznego i ubogiego, a tego, który był serca utrapionego, chciał zamordować.
Because that he remembered not to show lovingkindness, but pursued the man that was oppressed and needy, that, the downhearted, he might slay.
17 Ponieważ umiłował przeklęstwo, niechże przyjdzie na niego; niechciał błogosławieństwa niechże będzie oddalone od niego.
Because he loved cursing, May it have come upon him, Because he delighted not in blessing, May it have kept far from him;
18 A tak niech będzie obleczony w przeklęstwo, jako w szatę swoję; a niech wnijdzie jako woda we wnętrzności jego, a jako olej w kości jego.
Because he clothed himself in cursing as his outer garment, therefore may it have entered like water into his inward part, and like oil into his bones;
19 Niech mu to będzie jako płaszcz do przodziania, a jako pas dla ustawicznego opasywania.
Be it his, as a garment he shall wrap round him, and for a girdle he shall, at all times, gird on:
20 Takowa zapłata niech będzie przeciwnikom moim od Pana, i tym, którzy źle mówią przeciwko duszy mojej.
This, be the reward of mine accusers, from Yahweh, even of them who are speaking wrongfully against my life.
21 Ale ty, Panie! o Panie! użyj nademną litości dla imienia twego; a iż dobre jest miłosierdzie twoje, wyrwijże mię.
But, thou, Yahweh, Adonay, deal effectually with me, for the sake of thy Name, Since good is thy lovingkindness, O rescue me;
22 Bomci ja jest ubogi i nędzny, a serce moje zranione jest w wnętrznościach moich.
For, oppressed and needy, I am, and, my heart, is wounded within me.
23 Jako cień, który ustępuje, uchodzić muszę; zganiają mię jako szarańczę.
As a shadow when it stretcheth out, I am gone, I am shaken off like the locust;
24 Kolana moje upadają od postu, a ciało moje wychudło z tłustości.
My knees, tremble from fasting, and, my flesh, faileth of fatness:
25 Nadto stałem się im pośmiewiskiem; gdy mię widzą, kiwają głowami swemi.
So, I, am become a reproach for them, They see me, they shake their head.
26 Wspomóżże mię, o Panie, Boże mój! zachowaj mię według miłosierdzia swego,
Help me! O Yahweh my God, Save me, according to thy lovingkindness:
27 Tak, aby poznać mogli, iż to ręka twoja, a żeś ty, Panie! to uczynił.
That they may know that, Thine own hand, this is, Thou, Yahweh, hast done it.
28 Niechże oni przeklinają, ty błogosław; którzy powstali, niech będą zawstydzeni, aby się weselił sługa twój.
They, may curse if, thou, wilt bless, —Mine assailants, shall be ashamed, but, thy servant, shall rejoice;
29 Niech będą przeciwnicy moi w hańbę obleczeni, a niech się przyodzieją, jako płaszczem, zelżywością swoją.
Mine accusers shall be clothed with confusion, and shall wrap about them, like a cloak, their own shame.
30 Będę Pana wielce wysławiał usty swemi, a w pośród wielu chwalić go będę.
I will thank Yahweh loudly with my mouth, Yea, in the midst of multitudes, will I praise him;
31 Przeto, że stoi po prawej stronie nędznemu, aby go wybawił od tych, którzy osądzają duszę jego.
Because he standeth at the right hand of the needy, To save, from them who would pass sentence on his life.
