Psalmów 106
1 Halleluja. Wysławiajcie Pana; albowiem dobry, albowiem na wieki miłosierdzie jego.
Hallelujah. O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever.
2 Któż wysłowi niezmierną moc Pańską, a wypowie wszystkę chwałę jego?
Who can express the mighty acts of the LORD, or make all His praise to be heard?
3 Błogosławieni, którzy strzegą sądu, a czynią sprawiedliwość na każdy czas.
Happy are they that keep justice, that do righteousness at all times.
4 Pamiętaj na mię, Panie! dla miłości ku ludowi swemu; nawiedźże mię zbawieniem swojem,
Remember me, O LORD, when Thou favourest Thy people; O think of me at Thy salvation;
5 Abym używał dobrego z wybranymi twoimi, a weselił się w radości narodu twego, i chlubił się wespół z dziedzictwem twojem.
That I may behold the prosperity of Thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of Thy nation, that I may glory with Thine inheritance.
6 Zgrzeszyliśmy z ojcami swymi; niesprawiedliwieśmy czynili, i nieprawość popełniali.
We have sinned with our fathers, we have done iniquitously, we have dealt wickedly.
7 Ojcowie nasi w Egipcie nie zrozumieli cudów twoich, ani pamiętali na wielkość miłosierdzia twego; ale odpornymi byli przy morzu Czerwonem.
Our fathers in Egypt gave no heed unto Thy wonders; they remembered not the multitude of Thy mercies; but were rebellious at the sea, even at the Red Sea.
8 A wszakże ich wyswobodził dla imienia swego, aby oznajmił moc swoję.
Nevertheless He saved them for His name's sake, that He might make His mighty power to be known.
9 Bo zgromił morze Czerwone, i wyschło, a przewiódł ich przez przepaści, jako przez puszczę.
And He rebuked the Red Sea, and it was dried up; and He led them through the depths, as through a wilderness.
10 A tak zachował ich od ręki tego, który ich miał w nienawiści, a wykupił ich z ręki nieprzyjacielskiej.
And He saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
11 W tem okryły wody tych, którzy ich ciążyli; nie został ani jeden z nich.
And the waters covered their adversaries; there was not one of them left.
12 A choć uwierzyli słowom jego, i wysławiali chwałę jego:
Then believed they His words; they sang His praise.
13 Przecież prędko zapomnieli na sprawy jego, i nie czekali na rady jego.
They soon forgot His works; they waited not for His counsel;
14 Ale zdjęci będąc chciwością na puszczy, kusili Boga na pustyniach.
But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tried God in the desert.
15 I dał im, czego żądali, a wszakże przepuścił suchoty na nich.
And He gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
16 Zatem gdy się wzruszyli zawiścią przeciw Mojżeszowi w obozie, i przeciw Aaronowi, świętemu Pańskiemu:
They were jealous also of Moses in the camp, and of Aaron the holy one of the LORD.
17 Otworzyła się ziemia, i pożarła Datana, i okryła rotę Abironową,
The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
18 I zapalił się ogień na zebranie ich; płomień spalił niepobożnych.
And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
19 Sprawili i cielca na Horebie, i kłaniali się bałwanowi litemu,
They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped a molten image.
20 I odmienili chwałę swą w podobieństwo wołu, jedzącego trawę.
Thus they exchanged their glory for the likeness of an ox that eateth grass.
21 Zapomnieli na Boga, wybawiciela swego, który czynił wielkie rzeczy w Egipcie;
They forgot God their saviour, who had done great things in Egypt;
22 Rzeczy dziwne w ziemi Chamowej, rzeczy straszne przy morzu Czerwonem.
Wondrous works in the land of Ham, terrible things by the Red Sea.
23 Przetoż rzekł, że ich chciał wytracić, gdyby się był Mojżesz, wybrany jego, nie stawił w onem rozerwaniu przed nim, a nie odwrócił popędliwości jego, aby ich nie tracił.
Therefore He said that He would destroy them, had not Moses His chosen stood before Him in the breach, to turn back His wrath, lest He should destroy them.
24 Wzgardzili też ziemią pożądaną, nie wierząc słowu jego.
Moreover, they scorned the desirable land, they believed not His word;
25 I szemrząc w namiotach swoich, nie byli posłuszni głosowi Pańskiemu.
And they murmured in their tents, they hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
26 Przetoż podniósł rękę swoję przeciwko nim, aby ich pobił na puszczy;
Therefore He swore concerning them, that He would overthrow them in the wilderness;
27 A żeby rozrzucił nasienie ich między pogan, i rozproszył ich po ziemiach.
And that He would cast out their seed among the nations, and scatter them in the lands.
28 Sprzęgli się też byli z bałwanem Baalfegorem, a jedli ofiary umarłych.
They joined themselves also unto Baal of Peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
29 A tak draźnili Boga sprawami swemi, że się na nich oborzyła plaga;
Thus they provoked Him with their doings, and the plague broke in upon them.
30 Aż się zastawił Finees, a pomstę uczynił, i rozerwana jest ona plaga;
Then stood up Phinehas, and wrought judgment, and so the plague was stayed.
31 Co mu poczytano ku sprawiedliwości od narodu do narodu, aż na wieki.
And that was counted unto him for righteousness, unto all generations for ever.
32 Znowu go byli wzruszyli do gniewu u wód Meryba, tak, iż się źle działo i z Mojżeszem dla nich.
They angered Him also at the waters of Meribah, and it went ill with Moses because of them;
33 Albowiem rozdraźnili ducha jego, że wyrzekł co niesłuszne usty swemi.
For they embittered his spirit, and he spoke rashly with his lips.
34 Nadto nie wytracili onych narodów, o których im był Pan powiedział.
They did not destroy the peoples, as the LORD commanded them;
35 Ale pomięszawszy się z onemi narodami, nauczyli się spraw ich:
But mingled themselves with the nations, and learned their works;
36 I służyli bałwanom ich, które im były sidłem.
And they served their idols, which became a snare unto them;
37 Albowiem dyjabłom ofiarowali synów swoich, i córki swoje,
Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto demons,
38 I wylewali krew niewinną, krew synów swoich, i córek swoich, których ofiarowali bałwanom rytym Chananejskim, tak, że splugawiona była ziemia onem krwi rozlaniem.
And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood.
39 I zmazali się sprawami swemi, a cudzołożyli wynalazkami swemi.
Thus were they defiled with their works, and went astray in their doings.
40 Przetoż zapaliwszy się Pan w popędliwości przeciw ludowi swemu, obrzydził sobie dziedzictwo swoje,
Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against His people, and He abhorred His inheritance.
41 I podał ich w ręce poganom; a panowali nad nimi, którzy ich mieli w nienawiści;
And He gave them into the hand of the nations; and they that hated them ruled over them.
42 I uciskali ich nieprzyjaciele ich, tak, że poniżeni byli pod ręką ich.
Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were subdued under their hand.
43 Częstokroć ich wybawiał; wszakże go oni wzruszali do gniewu radami swemi, zaczem poniżeni byli dla nieprawości swoich.
Many times did He deliver them; but they were rebellious in their counsel, and sank low through their iniquity.
44 A wszakże wejrzał na ucisk ich, i usłyszał wołanie ich.
Nevertheless He looked upon their distress, when He heard their cry;
45 Bo sobie wspomniał na przymierze swoje z nimi, a żałował tego według wielkiej litości swojej.
And He remembered for them His covenant, and repented according to the multitude of His mercies.
46 Tak, że im zjednał miłosierdzie przed oczyma wszystkich, którzy ich byli pojmali.
He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captive.
47 Wybawże nas, Panie, Boże nasz! a zgromadź nas z tych pogan, abyśmy wysławiali imię świętobliwości twojej, a chlubili się w chwale twojej.
Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks unto Thy holy name, that we may triumph in Thy praise.
48 Błogosławiony Pan, Bóg Izraelski, od wieków aż na wieki; na co niech rzecze wszystek lud: Amen, Halleluja.
Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting, and let all the people say: 'Amen.' Hallelujah.
