Psalmów 105
1 Wysławiajcie Pana; ogłaszajcie imię jego; opowiadajcie między narodami sprawy jego.
O give thanks unto the Lord; call on his name: make known among the people his deeds.
2 Śpiewajcie mu, śpiewajcie mu psalmy, rozmawiajcie o wszystkich cudach jego.
Sing unto, him, sing praises unto him: speak of all his wonderful works.
3 Chlubcie się imieniem świętem jego; niech się weseli serce szukających Pana.
Glorify yourselves in his holy name: let the heart of those rejoice that seek the Lord.
4 Szukajcież Pana i mocy jego; szukajcie oblicza jego zawsze.
Inquire after the Lord and his strength: seek his presence evermore.
5 Przypominajcie sobie dziwy jego, które czynił, cuda jego i sądy ust jego.
Remember his wonderful works which he hath done; his tokens, and the decrees of his mouth;
6 Wy nasienie Abrahama, sługi jego! Wy synowie Jakóbowi, wybrani jego!
O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob, his elect.
7 Onci jest Pan, Bóg nasz, po wszystkiej ziemi sądy jego.
He is the Lord our God: over all the earth are his decrees.
8 Pamięta wiecznie na przymierze swoje: na słowo, które przykazał aż do tysiącznego pokolenia;
He remembereth his covenant for ever, the word which he hath commanded, to the thousandth generation.
9 Które postanowił z Abrahamem, i na przysięgę swą uczynioną Izaakowi.
Which he covenanted with Abraham; and his oath unto Isaac;
10 Bo je postanowił Jakóbowi za ustawę, a Izraelowi za umowę wieczną.
And which he established unto Jacob as a statute, unto Israel as an everlasting covenant:
11 Mówiąc: Tobie dam ziemię Chananejską za sznur dziedzictwa waszego;
Saying, “Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, as the portion of your inheritance.”
12 Kiedy ich był mały poczet, prawie mały poczet, a jeszcze w niej byli przychodniami.
When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it;
13 Przechodzili zaiste od narodu do narodu, a z królestwa innego ludu;
And when they wandered from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people:
14 Nie dopuszczał nikomu, aby im miał krzywdę czynić; nawet karał dla nich i królów, mówiąc:
He suffered no man to oppress them; yea, he reproved kings for their sake;
15 Nie tykajcie pomazańców moich, a prorokom moim nie czyńcie nic złego.
[Saying, ] “Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm,”—
16 Gdy przywoławszy głód na ziemię, wszystkę podporę chleba pokruszył.
And he called for a famine over the land; every staff of bread he broke.
17 Posłał przed nimi męża, który był za niewolnika sprzedany, to jest Józefa;
He sent a man before them; for a servant was Joseph sold;
18 Którego nogi pętami trapili, a żelazo ścisnęło ciało jego,
They forced into fetters his feet; in iron was his body put:
19 Aż do onego czasu, gdy się o nim wzmianka stała; mowa Pańska doświadczała go.
Until the time that his word came to pass, [when] the saying of the Lord had purified him.
20 Posławszy król kazał go puścić; ten, który panował nad narodami, wolnym go uczynił.
The king sent and unfettered him; the ruler of people, and let him go free.
21 Postanowił go panem domu swego, i książęciem nad wszystką dzierżawą swoją,
He appointed him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possession:
22 Aby władał i książętami jego według zdania duszy swojej, i starców jego mądrości nauczał.
That he might bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his ancients wisdom.
23 Potem wszedł Izrael do Egiptu, a Jakób był gościem w ziemi Chamowej;
Then came Israel into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 Gdzie rozmnożył Bóg lud swój bardzo, i uczynił go możniejszym nad nieprzyjaciół jego.
And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their adversaries.
25 Odmienił serce ich, iż mieli w nienawiści lud jego, a zmyślali zdrady przeciw sługom jego.
He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilely with his servants.
26 Posłał Mojżesza, sługę swego i Aarona, którego obrał;
He sent Moses his servant, Aaron also whom he had made choice of.
27 Którzy im przedłożyli słowa znaków jego, i cuda w ziemi Chamowej.
They displayed among them his effective signs, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 Posłał ciemności, i zaćmiło się, a nie byli odpornymi słowu jego.
He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29 Obrócił wody ich w krew, a pomorzył ryby w nich.
He changed their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30 Wydała ziemia ich mnóstwo żab, i były w pałacach królów ich.
Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the very chambers of their kings.
31 Rzekł, a przyszła rozmaita mucha, i mszyce we wszystkich granicach ich.
He spoke, and there came various wild beasts, lice also within all their boundary.
32 Dał grad miasto deszczu, ogień palący na ziemię ich.
He gave them as their rain hail, and flames of fire in their land.
33 Także potłukł winnice ich, i figi ich, a pokruszył drzewa w granicach ich.
And he smote their vines and their fig-trees, and broke the trees within their boundary.
34 Rzekł, a przyszła szarańcza, i chrząszczów niezliczone mnóstwo;
He spoke, and the locusts came, and crickets, and that without number;
35 I pożarły wszelkie ziele w ziemi ich, a pojadły urodzaje ziemi ich.
And they ate up all the herbs in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.
36 Nawet pobił wszystko pierworodztwo w ziemi ich, początek wszystkiej siły ich.
And he smote all the first-born in their land, the first of all their strength.
37 Tedy ich wywiódł ze srebrem i ze złotem, a nie był nikt słaby między pokoleniem ich.
And he brought them forth with silver and gold: and there was not one that stumbled among his tribes.
38 Radował się Egipt, gdy oni wychodzili; albowiem był przypadł na nich strach ich.
Egypt rejoiced when they departed; for the dread of them was fallen upon them.
39 Rozpostarł obłok na okrycie ich, a ogień na oświecanie nocy.
He spread out a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light in the night.
40 Na żądanie ich przywiódł przepiórki, a chlebem niebieskim nasycił ich.
The people asked, and he brought quails, and with heavenly bread he satisfied them.
41 Otworzył skałę i wypłynęły wody, a płynęły po suchych miejscach jako rzeka.
He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out: they ran in the dry places like a river.
42 Albowiem wspomniał na słowo świętobliwości swojej, które rzekł do Abrahama, sługi swego.
For he remembered his holy word given to Abraham his servant.
43 Przetoż wywiódł lud swój z weselem, a z śpiewaniem wybranych swoich.
And he brought forth his people with gladness, with joyful song his elect.
44 I podał im ziemię pogan, a posiedli prace narodów.
And he gave them the lands of nations; and the labor of people they obtained as an inheritance:
45 Aby zachowali ustawy jego, a prawa jego przestrzegali. Halleluja.
So that they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Hallelujah.
