Psalmów 101

1 Psalm samego Dawida. O miłosierdziu i o sądzie śpiewać będę; tobie, o Panie! śpiewać będę.

David’s. A Melody. Of lovingkindness and of justice, will I sing! Unto thee, O Yahweh, will I touch the strings!

2 Ostrożnym będę na drodze uprzejmej, kiedy przyjdziesz do mnie; będę chodził ustawicznie w szczerości serca mego, w domu moim.

I will behave myself wisely in a blameless way, When wilt thou come in unto me? I will walk to and fro in the blamelessness of my heart, —in the midst of my house:

3 Nie położę przed oczy moje złej rzeczy; każdą sprawę występników mam w nienawiści, a nie chwyci się mnie.

I will not set before mine eyes, a vile thing, —The doing of them who fall away, I hate, It shall not cleave unto me;

4 Serce przewrotne odstąpi odemnie, a o złe nie będę dbał.

A perverse heart, shall depart from me, A maker of mischief, will I not acknowledge;

5 Tego, który potajemnie obmawia bliźniego swego, wytnę; oczów wyniosłych, i serca nadętego nie będę mógł cierpieć.

He that uttereth slander in secret against his friend, him, will I root out; One of lofty eyes, and of an ambitious heart, him shall I not be able to endure.

6 Oczy moje obrócone będą na prawdomównych w ziemi, aby siadali zemną; kto chodzi drogą uprzejmą, ten mi służyć będzie.

Mine eyes, shall be upon the faithful of the land, That they may dwell with me, —he that walketh in a blameless way, he, shall attend me.

7 Nie będzie mieszkał w domu moim zdrajca, ten, który mówi kłamstwo, nie ostoi się przed oczyma memi.

There shall not dwell in the midst of my house, One who worketh deceit, —he that speaketh falsehoods, shall not be established before mine eyes;

8 Co poranek tracić będę wszystkich niezbożnych na ziemi, abym tak wykorzenił z miasta Pańskiego wszystkich, którzy czynią nieprawość.

Morning by morning, will I uproot, All the lawless ones of the land, That I may cut off, out of the city of Yahweh—All the workers of iniquity.
