1 Potem mówił Mojżesz do książąt w pokoleniach między synami Izraelskimi, i rzekł: Toć jest, co rozkazał Pan.

And Moses spoke unto the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saving, This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded,

2 Jeźliby mąż poślubił ślub Panu, albo też przysięgę uczynił, obowiązkiem obowiązawszy duszę swoję, nie złamie słowa swego: według wszystkiego coby wyszło z ust jego, uczyni.

If a man make a vow unto the Lord, or he swear an oath to bind his soul with an obligation: he shall not profane his word; according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth shall he do.

3 Ale jeźliby niewiasta poślubiła ślub Panu, i obowiązałaby się obowiązkiem w domu ojca swego w młodości swojej;

And if a woman make a vow unto the Lord, and bind herself by an obligation, being in her father's house in her youth;

4 A słyszałby ojciec jej on ślub jej, i obowiązek jej, którym obowiązała duszę swoję, a milczałby na to ojciec jej, tedy płatne będą wszystkie śluby jej, i każdy obowiązek, którym by obowiązała duszę swą, płatny będzie.

And her father hear her vow, and her obligation wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father be silent to her: then shall all her vows stand, and every obligation wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.

5 Ale jeźliby był onegoż dnia przeciw temu ojciec jej, którego by słyszał wszystkie śluby jej, i obowiązki jej, któremi obowiązała duszę swoję nie będą płatne; Pan odpuści jej, bo był przeciw temu ojciec jej.

But if her father disallow her on the day that he heareth it: all her vows or her obligations, wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall not stand; and the Lord will forgive her, because her father hath disallowed her.

6 Ale gdyby mająca męża ślub jaki uczyniła, albo wyrzekła co usty swemi, czem by obowiązała duszę swoję;

And if she be given to a man, and have vows upon her, or what she may have uttered with her lips, wherewith she hath bound her soul;

7 A słysząc to mąż jej, milczałby na to onegoż dnia, którego słyszał, płatne będą śluby jej, i obowiązki jej, któremi obowiązała duszę swoję, płatne będą.

And her husband hear it, and be silent to her on the day that he heareth it: then shall her vows stand, and her obligations wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand.

8 Ale jeźliby onego dnia, którego słyszał mąż jej, sprzeciwił się temu, i wzruszyłby ślub jej, który na sobie miała, i co wymówiła usty swemi, czem obowiązała duszę swoję, także Pan odpuści jej.

But if on the day of her husband's hearing it, he disallow her: then doth he annul her vow which is upon her, and that which she hath uttered with her lips, wherewith she hath bound her soul; and the Lord will forgive her.

9 Ale ślub każdy wdowy, i odrzuconej którym by obowiązała duszę swoję, płatny będzie.

But regarding the vow of a widow, or of her that is divorced, all, wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand for her.

10 Lecz jeźliby, póki była w domu męża swego, ślub uczyniła, i obowiązała obowiązkiem duszę swoję z przysięgą;

And if she had vowed in her husband's house, or had bound her soul by an obligation with an oath;

11 A słysząc mąż jej milczałby na to, i nie sprzeciwiłby się temu, tedy płatne będą wszystkie śluby jej i każdy obowiązek, którym obowiązała duszę swoję, płatny będzie.

And her husband heard it, and was silent to her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every obligation, wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand.

12 Ale jeźli cale sprzeciwił się temu mąż jej dnia, którego to słyszał, wszelki ślub, który wyszedł z ust jej, i obowiązek duszy jej, nie będzie płatny; mąż jej wzruszył to, a Pan odpuści jej.

But if her husband hath annulled them on the day he heard them: then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips, concerning her vows, or concerning the obligation of her soul, shall not stand; her husband hath annulled them; and the Lord will forgive her.

13 Wszelkiego ślubu i wszelkiej przysięgi obowiązku na utrapienie duszy, mąż jej potwierdzi go, i mąż jej wzruszy go.

Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the person, her husband may confirm it, or her husband may annul it.

14 A jeźliby cale milczał mąż jej ode dnia do dnia, tedy tem stwierdzi wszystkie śluby jej, i wszystkie obowiązki jej, które ma na sobie; stwierdzi je, przeto, że milczał na to w dzień, którego słyszał;

But if her husband should be silent to her from day to day: then hath he confirmed all her vows, or all her obligations, which are upon her; he hath confirmed them, because he was silent to her on the day that he heard them.

15 A jeźliby to koniecznie wzruszyć chciał, nie zaraz gdy słyszał, ale potem, poniesie nieprawość jej.

But if he should annul them after [the day] that he hath heard them: then shall he bear her iniquity.

16 Teć są ustawy, które przykazał Pan Mojżeszowi, między mężem a żoną jego, między ojcem a córką jego w młodości jej, póki jest w domu ojca swego.

These are the statutes, which the Lord commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth, in her father's house.
