1 I rzekł Pan do Mojżesza, mówiąc:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
2 Poślij męże, którzy by przeszpiegowali ziemię Chananejską, którą Ja dawam synom Izraelskim; po jednym mężu z każdego pokolenia poślecie, którzy by byli przedniejsi między nimi.
Send for yourself men so they may spy out [the] land of Canaan which I [am] about to give to [the] people of Israel a man one a man one for [the] tribe of ancestors his you will send every [one] a leader among them.
3 Wysłał je tedy Mojżesz z puszczy Faran według rozkazania Pańskiego; a oni mężowie wszyscy byli co przedniejsi z synów Izraelskich.
And he sent them Moses from [the] wilderness of Paran on [the] mouth of Yahweh all of them [were] men [who were] [the] heads of [the] people of Israel they.
4 A teć są imiona ich: Z pokolenia Ruben Samua, syn Zachurów.
And these [are] names their for [the] tribe of Reuben Shammua [the] son of Zaccur.
5 Z pokolenie Symeonowego Safat, syn Hurów.
For [the] tribe of Simeon Shaphat [the] son of Hori.
6 Z pokolenia Judy Kaleb, syn Jefunów.
For [the] tribe of Judah Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh.
7 Z pokolenia Isaschar Igal, syn Józefów.
For [the] tribe of Issachar Igal [the] son of Joseph.
8 Z pokolenia Efraimowego Ozeasz, syn Nunów.
For [the] tribe of Ephraim Hoshea [the] son of Nun.
9 Z pokolenia Benjaminowego Falty, syn Rafuów.
For [the] tribe of Benjamin Palti [the] son of Raphu.
10 Z pokolenia Zabulon Gedyjel, syn Sodego.
For [the] tribe of Zebulun Gaddiel [the] son of Sodi.
11 Z pokolenia Józefowego, to jest z potomstwa Manasesowego, Gady, syn Susego.
For [the] tribe of Joseph for [the] tribe of Manasseh Gaddi [the] son of Susi.
12 Z pokolenia Dan Ammijel, syn Gemmalego.
For [the] tribe of Dan Ammiel [the] son of Gemalli.
13 Z pokolenia Aser Setur, syn Michaelów.
For [the] tribe of Asher Sethur [the] son of Michael.
14 Z pokolenia Neftali, Nabi, syn Wafsego.
For [the] tribe of Naphtali Nahbi [the] son of Vopshi.
15 Z pokolenia Gad Guel, syn Machego.
For [the] tribe of Gad Geuel [the] son of Maki.
16 Teć są imiona mężów, które posłał Mojżesz na przeszpiegowanie ziemi: i nazwał Mojżesz Ozeasza, syna Nunowego, Jozue.
These [are] [the] names of the men whom he sent Moses to spy out the land and he called Moses Hoshea [the] son of Nun Joshua.
17 A posyłając je Mojżesz na przeszpiegowanie ziemi Chananejskiej, mówił do nich: Idźcie w tę stronę ku południowi, a wnijdźcie na górę:
And he sent them Moses to spy out [the] land of Canaan and he said to them go up this in the Negev and you will go up the hill country.
18 I oglądajcie ziemię, jaka jest, i lud, który mieszka w niej, jeźli jest mocny, czyli mdły? jeźli ich mało, czyli wiele?
And you will see the land what? [is] it and the people which dwells on it ¿ strong [is] it ¿ feeble ¿ few [is] it or? many.
19 Jaka też jest ziemia, w której mieszkają, jeźli dobra, czyli zła? i co są za miasta, w których mieszkają, jeźli w namieciech, czyli w obronnych miejscach?
And what? [is] the land which it [is] dwelling in it ¿ good [is] it or? bad and what? [are] the cities which it [is] dwelling in them ¿ in camps or? in fortresses.
20 Także co za ziemia, jeźli urodzajna, czyli niepłodna? jeźli w niej są drzewa, czyli nie? a bądźcie mężnego serca i przynieście nam owocu tamtej ziemi; a było to w ten czas, gdy się wina dostawały.
And what? [is] the land ¿ fat [is] it or? lean ¿ [is] there in it wood or? not and you will show yourselves strong and you will take some of [the] fruit of the land and the days [were the] days of [the] first-fruits of grapes.
21 I szli, a przeszpiegowali ziemię od puszczy Syn aż do Rochob, którędy chodzą do Emat.
And they went up and they spied out the land from [the] wilderness of Zin to Rehob Lebo Hamath.
22 A idąc ku południowi przyszli aż do Hebron, gdzie byli Ahiman, Sesai i Talmai, synowie Enakowi; a Hebron siedem lat było zbudowane przed Soan Egipskiem.
And they went up in the Negev and he came to Hebron and [were] there Ahiman Sheshai and Talmai those born of Anak and Hebron seven years it was built before Zoan Egypt.
23 Przyszli potem aż do rzeki Eschol, i urznęli tam gałąź z gronem jednem jagód winnych, i nieśli ją na drążku, dwa także granatowe jabłka i figi.
And they came to [the] wadi of Eshcol and they cut down from there a branch and a cluster of grapes one and they carried it on the pole two and some of the pomegranates and some of the figs.
24 I nazwano miejsce ono Nachal Eschol, od grona winnego, które tam byli urznęli synowie Izraelscy.
the Place that someone called [the] wadi of Eshcol on [the] causes of the cluster which they cut down from there [the] people of Israel.
25 Zatem wrócili się od onego szpiegowania ziemi po wyjściu czterdziestu dni.
And they returned from spying out the land from [the] end of forty day[s].
26 A wróciwszy się, przyszli do Mojżesza i do Aarona, i do wszystkiego zgromadzenia synów Izraelskich na puszczą Faran, która jest w Kades; i dali im i wszystkiemu pospólstwu sprawę, ukazawszy im owoc onej ziemi.
And they went and they came to Moses and to Aaron and to all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel to [the] wilderness of Paran Kadesh towards and they brought back them word and all the congregation and they showed them [the] fruit of the land.
27 A powiadali im, mówiąc: Przyszliśmy do ziemi, do którejś nas był posłał, która w prawdzie opływa mlekiem i miodem, a oto, ten jest owoc jej;
And they recounted to him and they said we went into the land which you sent us and also [is] flowing of milk and honey it and this [is] fruit its.
28 Tylko że mocny jest lud, który mieszka w onej ziemi; miasta także obronne są, i bardzo wielkie; do tego i syny Enakowe tameśmy widzieli.
Nevertheless for [is] strong the people which dwells in the land and the cities [are] fortified large very and also those born of Anak we saw there.
29 Amalek mieszka w ziemi na południe, a Hetejczyk, i Jebuzejczyk, i Amorejczyk mieszka na górach; Chananejczyk zaś mieszka nad morzem, i nad brzegiem Jordanu.
Amalek [is] dwelling in [the] land of the Negev and the Hittite[s] and the Jebusite[s] and the Amorite[s] [is] dwelling in the hill country and the Canaanite[s] [is] dwelling at the sea and on [the] side of the Jordan.
30 I hamował Kaleb lud szemrzący przeciw Mojżeszowi, i mówił: Pójdźmy a posiądźmy ziemię, bo ją pewnie sobie podbijemy.
And he silenced Caleb the people to Moses and he said certainly we will go up and we will take possession of it for certainly we will prevail to it.
31 Ale mężowie oni, którzy z nim chodzili, rzekli: Nie będziem mogli ciągnąć przeciw tamtemu ludowi; bo mocniejszy jest nad nas.
And the men who they had gone up with him they said not we are able to go up against the people for [is] strong it more than us.
32 I zganili onę ziemię, którą byli przeszpiegowali, synom Izraelskim, mówiąc: Ziemia ta, którąśmy przeszli, i przeszpiegowali ją, jest ziemia pożerająca obywatele swoje, a lud wszystek, któryśmy w niej widzieli, lud jest wysokiego wzrostu.
And they brought out bad report of the land which they had spied out it to [the] people of Israel saying the land which we passed in it to spy out it [is] a land [which] devours inhabitants its it and all the people which we saw in [the] midst of it [were] men of stature.
33 Tameśmy też widzieli olbrzymy, syny Enakowe z rodu olbrzymów; i zdaliśmy się sobie przy nich jako szarańcza, takimiż zdaliśmy się i onym.
And there we saw the Nephilim [the] descendants of Anak [were] from the Nephilim and we were in own eyes our like grasshoppers and thus we were in view their.
