Mateusza 7
1 Nie sądźcie, abyście nie byli sądzeni;
Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 Albowiem jakim sądem sądzicie, takim sądzeni będziecie, i jaką miarą mierzycie, taką wam odmierzono będzie.
For with the judgment that ye judge, ye shall be judged; and by the measure that ye measure, shall it be measured to you.
3 A czemuż widzisz źdźbło w oku brata twego, a balki, która jest w oku twojem, nie baczysz?
And why observest thou the straw in thy brother's eye, and regardest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Albo jakoż rzeczesz bratu twemu: Dopuść, iż wyjmę źdźbło z oka twego, a oto balka jest w oku twojem.
Or how canst thou say to thy brother, Allow me to pluck the straw from thy eye; and lo! a beam is in thy own eye.
5 Obłudniku! wyjmij pierwej balkę z oka twego, tedy przejrzysz, abyś wyjął źdźbło z oka brata twego.
Thou hypocrite; pluck first the beam from thy own eye; and then thou wilt see clearly, to pluck the straw out of thy brother's eye.
6 Nie dawajcie świętego psom, ani miećcie pereł waszych przed świnie, by ich snać nie podeptały nogami swemi, i obróciwszy się nie rozszarpały was.
Give not a holy thing to dogs: and cast not your pearls before swine; lest they tread them under their feet, and turn and lacerate you.
7 Proście, a będzie wam dano, szukajcie, a znajdziecie; kołaczcie, a będzie wam otworzono.
Ask, and it shall be given to you: seek, and ye shall find: knock, and it shall be opened to you.
8 Każdy bowiem, kto prosi, bierze; a kto szuka, znajduje; a temu, co kołacze, będzie otworzono.
For, every one that asketh, receiveth: and he that seeketh, findeth: and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened.
9 I któryż z was jest człowiek, którego prosiłliby syn jego o chleb, izali mu da kamień?
For what man is there among you, of whom if his son ask bread, will he reach him a stone?
10 A prosiłby o rybę, izali mu da węża?
Or if he ask of him a fish, will he reach him a serpent?
11 Jeźli wy tedy będąc złymi, umiecie dary dobre dawać dzieciom waszym, czemże więcej Ojciec wasz, który jest w niebiesiech, da rzeczy dobre tym, którzy go proszą.
If ye then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
12 Wszystko tedy, co byście chcieli, aby wam ludzie czynili, tak i wy czyńcie im; tenci bowiem jest zakon i prorocy.
Whatsoever ye would that men should do to you; so also do ye to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
13 Wchodźcie przez ciasną bramę; albowiem przestronna jest brama i szeroka droga, która prowadzi na zatracenie, a wiele ich jest, którzy przez nię wchodzą.
Enter ye in by the strait gate; for wide is the gate and broad the way which leadeth to destruction; and many are they that walk in it.
14 A ciasna jest brama i wąska droga, która prowadzi do żywota; a mało ich jest, którzy ją znajdują.
How small the gate and straitened the way that leadeth to life, and few they who find it!
15 A strzeżcie się fałszywych proroków, którzy przychodzą do was w odzieniu owczem, ale wewnątrz są wilcy drapieżni.
Beware of false prophets; who come to you in the garb of sheep, but internally they are rapacious wolves.
16 Z owoców ich poznacie je; izali zbierają z ciernia grona winne, albo z ostu figi?
And from their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes; or figs from thistles?
17 Tak ci wszelkie drzewo dobre owoce dobre przynosi; ale złe drzewo owoce złe przynosi.
So every good tree beareth good fruits; but a bad tree beareth bad fruits.
18 Nie może dobre drzewo owoców złych przynosić, ani drzewo złe owoców dobrych przynosić.
A good tree cannot bear bad fruits; nor can a bad tree bear good fruits.
19 Wszelkie drzewo, które nie przynosi owocu dobrego, bywa wycięte i w ogień wrzucone.
Every tree that beareth not good fruits, is cut down and consigned to the fire.
20 A tak z owoców ich poznacie je.
Wherefore, by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Nie każdy, który mi mówi: Panie, Panie! wnijdzie do królestwa niebieskiego; ale który czyni wolę Ojca mojego, który jest w niebiesiech.
Not whoever may say to me, My Lord, my Lord, will enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.
22 Wiele ich rzecze mi dnia onego: Panie, Panie! izażeśmy w imieniu twojem nie prorokowali, i w imieniu twojem dyjabłów nie wyganiali, i w imieniu twojem wiele cudów nie czynili?
Many will say to me in that day, My Lord, my Lord, have-we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name cast out demons? and in thy name wrought many works of power?
23 A tedy im wyznam: Żem was nigdy nie znał; odstąpcie ode mnie, którzy czynicie nieprawość.
And then will I declare to them; I never knew you. Depart from me, ye doers of evil.
24 Wszelkiego tedy, który słucha tych słów moich i czyni je, przypodobam mężowi mądremu, który zbudował dom swój na opoce;
Every one therefore that heareth these my discourses, and doeth them, will be like to a wise man, one that built his house upon a rock.
25 I spadł gwałtowny deszcz, i przyszła powódź, i wiatry wiały, i uderzyły na on dom, ale nie upadł, bo był założony na opoce.
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew; and they rushed upon that house; and it fell not, for its foundations were laid upon a rock.
26 A wszelki, który słucha tych słów moich, a nie czyni ich, przypodobany będzie mężowi głupiemu, który zbudował dom swój na piasku;
And every one that heareth these my discourses, and doeth them not, will be like a foolish man that built his house upon sand.
27 I spadł deszcz gwałtowny, i przyszła powódź, i wiatry wiały, a uderzyły na on dom, i upadł, a był wielki upadek jego.
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew; and they rushed upon that house, and it fell; and great was the ruin of it.
28 I stało się, gdy dokończył Jezus tych słów, że się zdumiewał lud nad nauką jego.
And so it was, that when Jesus had ended these discourses, the multitudes were astonished at his teaching:
29 Albowiem je uczył jako moc mający, a nie jako nauczeni w Piśmie.
for he taught them as one having authority; and not as their Scribes and Pharisees.
