Mateusza 28
1 A gdy się skończył sabat, i już świtało na pierwszy dzień onego tygodnia, przyszła Maryja Magdalena i druga Maryja, aby grób oglądały.
And, late in the week, when it was on the point of dawning into the first of the week, came Mary the Magdalene, and the other Mary, to view the sepulchre.
2 A oto stało się wielkie trzęsienie ziemi; albowiem Anioł Pański zstąpiwszy z nieba, przystąpił i odwalił kamień ode drzwi, i usiadł na nim.
And lo! a great commotion occurred, —for, a messenger of the Lord, descending out of heaven, and coming near, had rolled away the stone, and was sitting upon it.
3 A było wejrzenie jego jako błyskawica, a szata jego biała jako śnieg.
Now his appearance, was, as lightning, and, his clothing, white as snow;
4 A ci, którzy strzegli grobu, drżeli, bojąc się go, i stali się jako umarli.
and, for fear of him, they who were keeping watch were thrown into a commotion, and became as dead men.
5 Ale Anioł odpowiadając, rzekł do niewiast: Nie bójcie się wy; boć wiem, iż Jezusa ukrzyżowanego szukacie.
But the messenger, answering, said unto the women—Be not, ye, afraid! For I know that, Jesus the crucified, ye are seeking:
6 Nie maszci go tu; albowiem powstał, jako powiedział; chodźcie, oglądajcie miejsce, gdzie leżał Pan.
He is not here, for he hath arisen, as he said. Come! see the place where he lay;
7 A prędko idąc, powiedzcie uczniom jego, że zmartwychwstał; a oto uprzedza was do Galilei, tam go ujrzycie; otom wam powiedział.
And, quickly going, tell his disciples—He hath arisen from the dead, and lo! he is going before you into Galilee; —There, shall ye yourselves see him: Lo! I have told you.
8 Tedy wyszedłszy prędko od grobu z bojaźnią i z radością wielką, bieżały, aby to opowiedziały uczniom jego.
And, departing quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, they ran to bring tidings unto his disciples.
9 A gdy szły, aby to opowiedziały uczniom jego, oto Jezus spotkał się z niemi, mówiąc: Bądźcie pozdrowione. A one przystąpiwszy, uchwyciły się nóg jego i pokłoniły mu się.
And lo! Jesus, met them, saying—Joy to you! And, they, going forward, held his feet, and worshipped him.
10 Tedy im rzekł Jezus: Nie bójcie się; idźcie, opowiedzcie braciom moim, aby poszli do Galilei, a tam mię ujrzą.
Then, Jesus saith unto them—Be not afraid! Go your way, bear tidings unto my brethren, that they may depart into Galilee; and, there, shall they themselves see me.
11 A gdy one poszły, oto niektórzy z straży przyszedłszy do miasta, oznajmili przedniejszym kapłanom wszystko, co się stało.
Now as they were, going, lo! certain of the guard, went into the city and reported unto the High-priests all the things that had come to pass;
12 Którzy zgromadziwszy się z starszymi, i naradziwszy się, dali niemało pieniędzy żołnierzom,
and, being gathered together with the Elders and taking counsel, sufficient pieces of silver, gave they unto the soldiers, —
13 Mówiąc: Powiadajcie, iż uczniowie jego w nocy przyszedłszy, ukradli go, gdyśmy spali.
saying—Say ye, His disciples, coming, by night, stole him, while we were sleeping;
14 A jeźliby się to do starosty doniosło, my go namówimy, a was bezpiecznymi uczynimy.
And, if this be reported unto the governor, we, will persuade him, and will make, you, free from care.
15 A oni wziąwszy pieniądze, uczynili, jako ich nauczono. I rozniosła się ta powieść między Żydy aż do dnia dzisiejszego.
And, they, taking the pieces of silver, did as they were instructed. And this account was spread abroad among the Jews…until this [very] day.
16 Lecz jedenaście uczniów poszli do Galilei na górę, gdzie im był naznaczył Jezus.
And, the eleven disciples, went into Galilee, unto the mountain which, Jesus, had appointed them;
17 Ale ujrzawszy go, pokłonili mu się; lecz niektórzy wątpili.
and, seeing him, they worshipped, but, some, doubted.
18 Ale Jezus przystąpiwszy, mówił do nich, a rzekł: Dana mi jest wszelka moc na niebie i na ziemi.
And Jesus, coming near, spake unto them, saying—All authority, in heaven and on earth, hath been given unto me;
19 Idąc tedy, nauczajcie wszystkie narody, chrzcząc je w imię Ojca, i Syna, i Ducha Świętego;
Go ye, therefore, and disciple all the nations, Immersing them into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, —
