Mateusza 15
1 Tedy przystąpili do Jezusa z Jeruzalemu nauczeni w Piśmie i Faryzeuszowie, mówiąc:
Then, there come unto Jesus from Jerusalem Pharisees and Scribes, saying—
2 Czemu uczniowie twoi przestępują ustawę starszych? albowiem nie umywają rąk swych, gdy mają jeść chleb.
Wherefore do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands, when they eat bread!
3 A on odpowiadając, rzekł im: Czemuż i wy przestępujecie przykazanie Boże dla ustawy waszej?
But, he, answering, said unto them—Wherefore do, ye also, transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition?
4 Albowiem Bóg przykazał, mówiąc: Czcij ojca twego i matkę; i kto by złorzeczył ojcu albo matce, śmiercią niechaj umrze.
For, God, said—Honour thy father and thy mother, and—He that revileth father or mother, let him, surely die!
5 Ale wy powiadacie: Kto by rzekł ojcu albo matce: Dar, którykolwiek jest ode mnie, tobie pożyteczny będzie; a nie uczciłby ojca swego albo matki swojej, bez winy będzie.
But, ye, say—Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother—A gift! Whatsoever, out of me, thou mightest be profited,
6 I wzruszyliście przykazania Boże dla ustawy waszej.
in nowise, shall honour his father or his mother—and so ye have cancelled, the word of God, for the sake of your, tradition.
7 Obłudnicy! dobrze o was prorokował Izajasz, mówiąc:
Hypocrites! well prophesied concerning you, Isaiah, saying—
8 Lud ten przybliża się do mnie usty swemi, i wargami czci mię; ale serce ich daleko jest ode mnie.
This people, with the lips, do, honour, me, while, their heart, far off, holdeth from me;
9 Lecz próżno mię czczą, nauczając nauk, które są przykazania ludzkie.
But, in vain, do they pay devotions unto me, teaching, for teachings, the commandments of men.
10 A zawoławszy do siebie ludu, rzekł im: Słuchajcie, a rozumiejcie.
And, calling near the multitude, he said to them—Hear and understand!
11 Nie to, co wchodzi w usta, pokala człowieka; ale co wychodzi z ust, to pokala człowieka.
Not that which entereth into the mouth, defileth the man, but, that which proceedeth out of the mouth, the same, defileth the man,
12 Tedy przystąpiwszy uczniowie jego, rzekli mu: Wiesz, iż Faryzeuszowie, usłyszawszy tę mowę, zgorszyli się?
Then, coming near, his disciples say unto him—Knowest thou, that the Pharisees, hearing the word, were caused to stumble?
13 A on odpowiadając rzekł: Wszelki szczep, którego nie szczepił Ojciec mój niebieski, wykorzeniony będzie.
And, he, answering, said—Every plant which my heavenly Father hath not planted, will be uprooted:
14 Zaniechajcie ich; ślepi są wodzowie ślepych, a ślepy jeźliby ślepego prowadził, obadwa w dół wpadną.
Let them alone! they are, blind leaders; and, if the, blind, lead the, blind, both, into a ditch, will fall.
15 A odpowiadając Piotr, rzekł mu: Wyłóż nam to podobieństwo.
And Peter, answering, said unto him, Declare to us the parable.
16 I rzekł Jezus: Jeszczeż i wy bezrozumni jesteście?
And, he, said, To this moment, are, ye also, without discernment?
17 Jeszczeż nie rozumiecie, iż wszystko, co wchodzi w usta, w brzuch idzie, i do wychodu bywa wyrzucono?
Perceive ye not that, every thing which entereth into the mouth, into the stomach, findeth way, and, into the draught, is passed;
18 Ale co z ust pochodzi, z serca wychodzi, a toć pokala człowieka.
while, the things which proceed out of the mouth, out of the heart, come forth, and, they, defile the man.
19 Albowiem z serca wychodzą złe myśli, mężobójstwa, cudzołóstwa, wszeteczeństwa, złodziejstwa, fałszywe świadectwa, bluźnierstwa.
For, out of the heart, come forth wicked designs, —murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false testimonies, profane speakings:
20 Toć jest, co pokala człowieka: ale jeść nieumytemi rękoma, toć nie pokala człowieka.
these, are the things which defile the man, but, the eating with unwashed hands, doth not defile the man.
21 A wyszedłszy Jezus stamtąd, ustąpił w strony Tyru i Sydonu.
And, going forth from thence, Jesus retired into the parts of Tyre and Zidon.
22 A oto niewiasta Chananejska z onych granic wyszedłszy, wołała, mówiąc do niego: Zmiłuj się nade mną Panie, synu Dawidowy! córka moja ciężko bywa od dyjabła dręczona.
And lo! a Canaanite woman, from those bounds, coming forth, began crying out, saying, Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter, is miserably demonized.
23 A on jej nie odpowiedział i słowa. Tedy przystąpiwszy uczniowie jego, prosili go, mówiąc: Odpraw ją, boć woła za nami.
But, he, answered her no a word. And his disciples, coming forward began requesting him, saying—Dismiss her, because she is crying out after us.
24 A on odpowiadając rzekł: Nie jestem posłany, tylko do owiec, które zginęły z domu Izraelskiego.
But, he, answering, said, I was not sent forth, save unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25 Lecz ona przystąpiwszy, pokłoniła mu się, mówiąc: Panie, ratuj mię!
And, she, coming, began bowing down to him, saying, Lord! help me.
26 A on odpowiadając rzekł: Niedobra jest brać chleb dziecinny, a miotać szczeniętom.
But, he, answering, said, It is, not seemly, to take the loaf of, the children, and cast, to the little dogs.
27 A ona rzekła: Tak jest, Panie! a wszakże i szczenięta jedzą odrobiny, które padają z stołu panów ich.
And, she, said, True, Lord! [for], even the little dogs, eat of the crumbs which are falling from the table of, their masters.
28 Tedy odpowiadając Jezus rzekł jej: O niewiasto! wielka jest wiara twoja; niechaj ci się stanie, jako chcesz. I uzdrowiona jest córka jej od onejże godziny.
Then, answering, Jesus said to her—O woman! great, is, thy faith! Be it, done, for thee, as thou desirest. And her daughter was healed, from that hour.
29 A Jezus poszedłszy stamtąd, przyszedł nad morze Galilejskie, a wstąpiwszy na górę, siedział tam.
And, passing on from thence, Jesus came near the sea of Galilee, and, going up into the mountain, was sitting there.
30 I przyszedł do niego wielki lud, mając z sobą chrome, ślepe, nieme, ułomne i inszych wiele, i kładli je u nóg Jezusowych, i uzdrawiał je,
And there came unto him large multitudes, having with themselves the lame, the maimed, the blind, the dumb, and many others, —and they cast them near his feet, and he cured them;
31 Tak iż się on lud dziwował, widząc, że niemi mówią, ułomni uzdrowieni są, chromi chodzą, a ślepi widzą; i wielbili Boga Izraelskiego.
so that the multitude marvelled, seeing the dumb speaking, the lame walking, and the blind seeing, —and they glorified the God of Israel.
32 Lecz Jezus zwoławszy uczniów swoich, rzekł: Żal mi tego ludu; albowiem już trzy dni przy mnie trwają, a nie mają, co by jedli, a nie chcę ich rozpuścić głodnych, by snać nie pomdleli na drodze.
But, Jesus, calling near his disciples, said—My compassions are moved towards the multitude, because [even now], three days, abide they with me, and they have nothing to eat, —and, to dismiss them fasting, I am not willing, lest by any means they faint in the way.
33 Tedy mu rzekli uczniowie jego: Skądże byśmy wzięli tak wiele chleba na tej puszczy, abyśmy tak wielki lud nasycili?
And his disciples say unto him—Whence, to us, in a wilderness, loaves in such numbers as to fill a multitude, so great?
34 I rzekł im Jezus: Wieleż macie chlebów? A oni rzekli: Siedm, i trochę rybek.
And Jesus saith unto them—How many, loaves have ye? And, they, said, —Seven, and a few small fishes.
35 Tedy rozkazał ludowi, aby siedli na ziemi.
And, sending word to the multitude to recline upon the ground,
36 A wziąwszy one siedm chlebów i one ryby, uczyniwszy dzięki, łamał i dał uczniom swoim, a uczniowie ludowi.
he took the seven loaves, and the fishes, and, giving thanks, brake, —and began giving to his disciples, and, the disciples, to the multitudes.
37 I jedli wszyscy i nasyceni są, i zebrali, co zbyło ułomków, siedm koszów pełnych.
And they all did eat and were filled, —and, the remainder of the broken pieces, took they up, seven hampers, full.
38 A było tych, którzy jedli, cztery tysiące mężów, oprócz niewiast i dziatek.
And, they who did eat, were four thousand men, besides women and children.
39 Tedy rozpuściwszy lud, wstąpił w łódź, i przyszedł na granice Magdalańskie.
And, dismissing the multitudes, he went up into the boat, —and came into the bounds of Magadan.
