1 W on czas szedł Jezus w sabat przez zboża, a uczniowie jego łaknęli, i poczęli rwać kłosy i jeść.
In that tyme Jhesus wente bi cornes in the sabot day; and hise disciplis hungriden, and bigunnen to plucke the eris of corn, and to ete.
2 A ujrzawszy to Faryzeuszowie, rzekli mu: Oto uczniowie twoi czynią, czego się nie godzi czynić w sabat.
And Fariseis, seynge, seiden to hym, Lo! thi disciplis don that thing that is not leueful to hem to do in sabatis.
3 A on im rzekł: Izaście nie czytali, co uczynił Dawid, gdy łaknął, on i ci, którzy z nim byli?
And he seide to hem, Whether ye han not red, what Dauid dide, whanne he hungride, and thei that weren with hym?
4 Jako wszedł do domu Bożego, i chleby pokładne jadł, których mu się nie godziło jeść, ani tym, którzy z nim byli, tylko samym kapłanom.
hou he entride in to the hous of God, and eet looues of proposicioun, whiche looues it was not leueful to hym to ete, nether to hem that weren with hym, but to prestis aloone?
5 Alboście nie czytali w zakonie, że w sabat i kapłani w kościele sabat gwałcą, a bez winy są?
Or whether ye han not red in the lawe, that in sabotis prestis in the temple defoulen the sabotis, and thei ben with oute blame?
6 Ale mówię wam, iż tu większy jest niż kościół.
And Y seie to you, that here is a gretter than the temple.
7 A gdybyście wiedzieli, co to jest: Miłosierdzia chcę, a nie ofiary, nie potępialibyście niewinnych;
And if ye wisten, what it is, Y wole merci, and not sacrifice, ye schulden neuer haue condempned innocentis.
8 Albowiem Syn człowieczy Panem jest i sabatu.

9 A odszedłszy stamtąd przyszedł do bóżnicy ich;
And whanne he passide fro thennus, he cam in to the synagoge of hem.
10 A oto był tam człowiek mający rękę uschłą; i pytali go, mówiąc: Godzili się w sabat uzdrawiać? aby go oskarżyli.
And lo! a man that hadde a drye hoond. And thei axiden hym, and seiden, Whether it be leueful to hele in the sabot? that thei schulden acuse hym.
11 A on im rzekł: Któryż człowiek z was będzie, który by miał owcę jedną, a gdyby mu ta w sabat w dół wpadła, izali jej nie dobędzie i nie wyciągnie?
And he seide to hem, What man of you schal be, that hath o scheep, and if it falle in to a diche in the sabotis, whether he shal not holde, and lifte it vp?
12 A czemże zacniejszy jest człowiek niżeli owca? Przetoż godzi się w sabat dobrze czynić.
How myche more is a man better than a scheep? Therfor it is leueful to do good in the sabatis.
13 Tedy rzekł człowiekowi onemu: Wyciągnij rękę twoję; a on wyciągnął, i przywrócona jest do zdrowia jako i druga.
Thanne he seide to the man, Stretche forth thin hoond. And he strauyte forth; and it was restorid to heelthe as the tothir.
14 A wyszedłszy Faryzeuszowie, uczynili radę przeciwko niemu, jakoby go stracili.
And the Farisees wenten out, and maden a counsel ayens hym, hou thei schulden distrie hym.
15 Ale Jezus poznawszy to, odszedł stamtąd, i szedł za nim lud wielki; i uzdrowił one wszystkie,
And Jhesus knewe it, and wente awei fro thennus; and many sueden hym, and he helide hem alle.
16 I przygroził im, aby go nie objawiali,
And he comaundide to hem, that thei schulden not make hym knowun;
17 Żeby się wypełniło, co powiedziano przez Izajasza proroka, mówiącego:
that that thing were fulfillid, that was seid by Isaie, the prophete, seiynge, Lo!
18 Oto ten sługa mój, któregom obrał, ten umiłowany mój, w którym się upodobało duszy mojej; położę ducha mojego na nim, a sąd narodom opowie;

19 Nie będzie się wadził, ani będzie wołał, i nikt na ulicach nie usłyszy głosu jego;
He shal not stryue, ne crye, nethir ony man shal here his voice in stretis.
20 Trzciny nałamanej nie dołamie, a lnu kurzącego się nie zagasi, aż wystawi sąd ku zwycięstwu;
A brisid rehed he shal not breke, and he schal not quenche smokynge flax, til he caste out doom to victorie;
21 A w imieniu jego narodowie będą nadzieję mieli.
and hethene men schulen hope in his name.
22 Tedy przywiedziono do niego opętanego, ślepego i niemego, i uzdrowił go, tak iż on ślepy i niemy i mówił i widział.
Thanne a man blynde and doumbe, that hadde a feend, was brouyt to hym; and he helide hym, so that he spak, and say.
23 I zdumiał się wszystek lud, i mówili: Nie tenże jest on syn Dawidowy?
And al the puple wondride, and seide, Whether this be the sone of Dauid?
24 Ale Faryzeuszowie usłyszawszy to, rzekli: Ten nie wygania dyjabłów, tylko przez Beelzebuba, książęcia dyjabelskiego.
But the Farisees herden, and seiden, He this casteth not out feendis, but in Belsabub, prince of feendis.
25 Lecz Jezus widząc myśli ich, rzekł im: Każde królestwo rozdzielone samo przeciwko sobie pustoszeje, i każde miasto albo dom, sam przeciwko sobie rozdzielony, nie ostoi się.
And Jhesus, witynge her thouytis, seide to hem, Eche kingdom departid ayens it silf, schal be desolatid, and eche cite, or hous, departid ayens it self, schal not stonde.
26 A jeźliż szatan szatana wygania, sam przeciwko sobie rozdzielony jest; jakoż się tedy ostoi królestwo jego?
And if Satanas castith out Satanas, he is departid ayens him silf; therfor hou schal his kingdom stonde?
27 A jeźliż ja przez Beelzebuba wyganiam dyjabły, synowie wasi przez kogoż wyganiają? Przetoż oni sędziami waszymi będą;
And if Y in Belsabub caste out deuelis, in `whom youre sones casten out? Therfor thei schulen be youre domes men.
28 A jeźliż ja duchem Bożym wyganiam dyjabły, tedyż do was przyszło królestwo Boże.
But if Y in the Spirit of God caste out feendis, thanne the kyngdom of God is comen in to you.
29 Albo jakoż może kto wnijść do domu mocarza, i sprzęt jego rozchwycić, jeźliby pierwej nie związał mocarza onego? toż dopiero dom jego rozchwyci.
Ethir hou may ony man entre in to the hous of a stronge man, and take awey hise vesselis, but `he first bynde the stronge man, and thanne he schal spuyle his hous?
30 Kto nie jest ze mną, przeciwko mnie jest, a kto nie zbiera ze mną, rozprasza.
He that is not with me, is ayens me; and he that gaderith not togidere with me, scaterith abrood.
31 Dlatego powiadam wam: Wszelki grzech i bluźnierstwo ludziom odpuszczone będzie; ale bluźnierstwo przeciwko Duchowi Świętemu nie będzie odpuszczone ludziom.
Therfor I seie to you, al synne and blasfemye shal be foryouun to men, but `the spirit of blasfemye shal not be foryouun.
32 I ktobykolwiek rzekł słowo przeciwko Synowi człowieczemu, będzie mu odpuszczono; ale kto by mówił przeciwko Duchowi Świętemu, nie będzie mu odpuszczono, ani w tym wieku ani w przyszłym. (aiōn g165)
And who euere seith a word ayens mannus sone, it shal be foryouun to him; but who that seieth a word ayens the Hooli Goost, it shal not be foryouun to hym, nether in this world, ne in `the tothir. (aiōn g165)
33 Czyńcież albo drzewo dobre, i owoc jego dobry; albo czyńcie drzewo złe, i owoc jego zły; albowiem z owocu drzewo poznane bywa.
Ethir make ye the tree good, and his fruyt good; ether make ye the tree yuel and his fruyt yuel; for a tree is knowun of the fruyt.
34 Rodzaju jaszczurczy! jakoż możecie mówić dobre rzeczy, będąc złymi, gdyż z obfitości serca usta mówią?
Ye generacioun of eddris, hou moun ye speke goode thingis, whanne ye ben yuele? For the mouth spekith of plente of the herte.
35 Dobry człowiek z dobrego skarbu serca wynosi rzeczy dobre, a zły człowiek ze złego skarbu wynosi rzeczy złe.
A good man bryngith forth good thingis of good tresoure, and an yuel man bringith forth yuel thingis of yuel tresoure.
36 Ale powiadam wam, iż z każdego słowa próżnego, które by mówili ludzie, dadzą z niego liczbę w dzień sądny;
And Y seie to you, that of euery idel word, that men speken, thei schulen yelde resoun therof in the dai of doom;
37 Albowiem z mów twoich będziesz usprawiedliwiony, i z mów twoich będziesz osądzony.
for of thi wordis thou schalt be iustified, and of thi wordis thou shalt be dampned.
38 Tedy odpowiedzieli niektórzy z nauczonych w Piśmie i Faryzeuszów, mówiąc: Nauczycielu, chcemy od ciebie znamię widzieć.
Thanne summe of the scribis and Farisees answeriden to hym, and seiden, Mayster, we wolen se a tokne of thee.
39 A on odpowiadając rzekł im: Rodzaj zły i cudzołożny znamienia szuka; ale mu nie będzie znamię dane, tylko ono znamię Jonasza proroka.
Which answeride, and seide to hem, An yuel kynrede and a spouse brekere sekith a tokene, and a tokene shal not be youun to it, but the tokene of Jonas, the prophete.
40 Albowiem jako Jonasz był w brzuchu wieloryba trzy dni i trzy noce, tak będzie Syn człowieczy w sercu ziemi trzy dni i trzy noce.
For as Jonas was in the wombe of a whal thre daies and thre nyytis, so mannus sone shal be in the herte of the erthe thre daies and thre nyytis.
41 Mężowie Niniwiccy staną na sądzie z tym rodzajem, i potępią go, przeto że pokutowali na kazanie Jonaszowe; a oto tu więcej niżeli Jonasz.

42 Królowa z południa stanie na sądzie z tym rodzajem, i potępi go; iż przyszła od krajów ziemi, aby słuchała mądrości Salomonowej; a oto tu więcej niżeli Salomon.
The queene of the south shal rise in doom with this generacioun, and schal condempne it; for she cam fro the eendis of the erthe to here the wisdom of Salomon, and lo! here a gretter than Salomon.
43 A gdy nieczysty duch od człowieka wychodzi, przechadza się po miejscach suchych, szukając odpocznienia, ale nie znajduje.
Whanne an vnclene spirit goith out fro a man, he goith bi drie places, `and sekith rest, and fyndith not.
44 Tedy mówi: Wrócę się do domu mego, skądem wyszedł; a przyszedłszy znajduje go próżny i umieciony i ochędożony.
Thanne he seith, Y shal turne ayen in to myn hous, fro whannys Y wente out. And he cometh, and fyndith it voide, and clensid with besyms, and maad faire.
45 Tedy idzie, i bierze z sobą siedm inszych duchów gorszych, niżeli sam: a wszedłszy mieszkają tam, i bywają ostatnie rzeczy człowieka onego gorsze, niżeli pierwsze. Tak się stanie i temu rodzajowi złemu.
Thanne he goith, and takith with him seuene othere spiritis worse than hym silf; and thei entren, and dwellen there. And the laste thingis of that man ben maad worse than the formere. So it shal be to this worste generacioun.
46 A gdy on jeszcze mówił do ludu, oto matka i bracia jego stali przed domem chcąc z nim mówić.
Yit whil he spak to the puple, lo! his modir and his bretheren stoden withouteforth, sekynge to speke to hym.
47 I rzekł mu niektóry: Oto matka twoja i bracia twoi stoją przed domem, chcąc z tobą mówić.
And a man seide to hym, Lo! thi modir and thi britheren stonden withouteforth, sekynge thee.
48 A on odpowiadając, rzekł temu, co mu to powiedział: Któraż jest matka moja? i którzy są bracia moi?
He answeride to the man, that spak to hym, and seide, Who is my modir? and who ben my britheren?
49 A wyciągnąwszy rękę swoję na uczniów swoich, rzekł: Oto matka moja i bracia moi!
And he helde forth his hoond in to hise disciplis, and seide, Lo! my modir and my bretheren;
50 Albowiem ktobykolwiek czynił wolę Ojca mojego, który jest w niebiesiech, ten jest bratem moim, i siostrą i matką.
for who euer doith the wille of my fadir that is in heuenes, he is my brothir, and sistir, and modir.
