1 Tedy się zgromadzili do niego Faryzeuszowie, i niektórzy z nauczonych w Piśmie, którzy byli przyszli z Jeruzalemu;
Then the Pharisees [Separated] and some of the Torah-Teachers gathered together to him, having come from Jerusalem [City of peace].
2 A ujrzawszy niektóre z uczniów jego, że pospolitemi rękoma, (to jest, nieumytemi) jedli chleb, ganili to.
Now when they saw some of his disciples eating bread with defiled, that is unwashed, hands, they found this reprovable.
3 Albowiem Faryzeuszowie i wszyscy Żydzi nie jedzą, jeźliby pilnie rąk nie umyli, trzymając ustawę starszych.
(For the Pharisees [Separated] and all the Jews [Praisers], don’t eat unless they wash their hands and forearms, holding to the tradition of the elders.
4 I z rynku przyszedłszy, jeźliby się nie umyli, nie jedzą; i innych rzeczy wiele jest, które przyjęli ku trzymaniu, jako umywanie kubków, konewek, i miednic, i stołów.
They don’t eat when they come from the marketplace unless they bathe themselves, and there are many other things, which they have received to hold to: washings of cups, pitchers, bronze vessels, and couches.)
5 Potem go pytali Faryzeuszowie i nauczeni w Piśmie: Przecz uczniowie twoi nie chodzą według podania starszych, ale nieumytemi rękoma chleb jedzą?
The Pharisees [Separated] and the Torah-Teachers asked him, “Why don’t your disciples walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands?”
6 Tedy on odpowiadając, rzekł im: Dobrze Izajasz o was obłudnikach prorokował, jako napisano: Lud ten czci mię wargami, ale serce ich daleko jest ode mnie.
He answered them, “Well did Isaiah [Salvation of Yah] prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7 Lecz próżno mię czczą nauczając nauk i ustaw ludzkich.
But they worship me in vain, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’
8 Albowiem wy opuściwszy przykazania Boże, trzymacie ustawy ludzkie, umywanie konewek i kubków, i wiele innych takich tym podobnych rzeczy czynicie.
“For you set aside the commandment of God, and hold tightly to the tradition of men— the washing of pitchers and cups, and you do many other such things.”
9 Mówił im też: Wy czysto znosicie przykazania Boże, abyście ustawy wasze zachowali.
He said to them, “Full well do you refuse ·to set aside, neutralize, violate, cast off, nullify, make void· the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.
10 Bo Mojżesz rzekł: Czcij ojca twego i matkę twoję; a kto złorzeczy ojcu albo matce, niech śmiercią umrze.
For Moses [Drawn out] said, ‘Honor your father and your mother;’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’
11 Ale wy mówicie: Jeźliby człowiek rzekł ojcu albo matce: Korban, (co jest dar), którykolwiek będzie ode mnie, tobie pożyteczny będzie, bez winy będzie;
But you say, ‘If a man tells his father or his mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban, that is to say, given to God”’;
12 I nie dopuścicie mu nic więcej czynić ojcu swemu albo matce swojej,
then you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother,
13 Wniwecz obracając słowo Boże ustawą waszą, którąście ustawili; i wiele innych rzeczy tym podobnych czynicie.
making void ha D'var Elohim ·the Word of God· by your tradition, which you have handed down. You do many things like this.”
14 A zwoławszy wszystkiego ludu, mówił im: Słuchajcie mię wszyscy, a zrozumiejcie!
He called all the multitude to himself, and said to them, “Hear me, all of you, and understand.
15 Nie masz nic z rzeczy zewnętrznych, które wchodzą w człowieka, co by go mogło pokalać; ale to, co pochodzi z niego, to jest, co pokala człowieka.
There is nothing from outside of the man, that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man.
16 Jeźli kto ma uszy ku słuchaniu, niechaj słucha!
If anyone has ears to hear, let him sh'ma ·hear obey·!”
17 A gdy wszedł w dom od onego ludu, pytali go uczniowie jego o to podobieństwo.
When he had entered into a house away from the multitude, his disciples asked him about the parable.
18 Tedy im rzekł: Także i wy bezrozumni jesteście? Azaż nie rozumiecie, iż wszystko, co zewnątrz wchodzi w człowieka, nie może go pokalać?
He said to them, “Are you also without understanding? Don’t you perceive that whatever goes into the man from outside can’t defile him,
19 Albowiem nie wchodzi w serce jego, ale w brzuch, i do wychodu wychodzi, czyszcząc wszystkie pokarmy.
because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, then into the latrine, thus purifying all foods?”
20 I powiedział, że co pochodzi z człowieka, to pokala człowieka.
He said, “That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man.
21 Bo z wnętrzności serca ludzkiego pochodzą złe myśli, cudzołóstwa, wszeteczeństwa, mężobójstwa,
For from within, out of the hearts of men, proceed evil thoughts, moicheiai ·adulteries·, porhneia ·sexual immorality·, murders, thefts,
22 Kradzieże, łakomstwa, złości, zdrada, niewstyd, oko złe, bluźnierstwo, pycha, głupstwo.
covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness.
23 Wszystkie te złe rzeczy pochodzą z wnętrzności, i pokalają człowieka.
All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.”
24 A stamtąd wstawszy, poszedł na granice Tyru i Sydonu, a wszedłszy w dom, nie chciał, aby kto wiedział; lecz się utaić nie mógł.
From there he arose, and went away into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. He entered into a house, and didn’t want anyone to know it, but he couldn’t escape notice.
25 Albowiem usłyszawszy o nim niewiasta, której córeczka miała ducha nieczystego, przyszła i przypadła do nóg jego,
For a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell down at his feet.
26 (A ta niewiasta była Grecka, rodem z Syrofenicyi) i prosiła go, aby dyjabła wygnał z córki jej.
Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. She begged him that he would cast the demon out of her daughter.
27 Ale jej Jezus rzekł: Niech się pierwej dzieci nasycą; boć nie jest dobra, brać chleb dzieciom i miotać szczeniętom.
But Yeshua [Salvation] said to her, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”
28 A ona odpowiedziała i rzekła mu: Tak jest, Panie! Wszakże i szczenięta jadają pod stołem z odrobin dziecinnych.
But she answered him, “Yes, Lord. Yet even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”
29 I rzekł do niej: Dla tej mowy idź, wyszedł dyjabeł z córki twojej.
He said to her, “For this saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter.”
30 A gdy ona odeszła do domu swego, znalazła iż dyjabeł wyszedł, a córka leżała na łożu.
She went away to her house, and found the child having been laid on the bed, with the demon gone out.
31 A wyszedłszy zaś z granic Tyrskich i Sydońskich, przyszedł nad morze Galilejskie, pośrodkiem granic dziesięciu miast.
Again he departed from the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and came to the sea of Galilee [District, Circuit], through the middle of the region of Decapolis.
32 I przywiedli mu głuchego i z ciężkością mówiącego, a prosili go, aby na niego rękę włożył.
They brought to him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech. They begged him to lay his hand on him.
33 A wziąwszy go Pan od ludu osobno, włożył palce swoje w uszy jego, a plunąwszy dotknął się języka jego;
He took him aside from the multitude, privately, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spat, and touched his tongue.
34 A wejrzawszy w niebo, westchnął i rzekł do niego: Efata! to jest, otwórz się.
Looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him, “Hippatach! ·Be opened·!”
35 I wnet się otworzyły uszy jego, i rozwiązała się związka języka jego, i wymawiał dobrze.
Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was released, and he spoke clearly.
36 Tedy im zakazał, aby tego nikomu nie powiadali.
He commanded them that they should tell no one, but the more he commanded them, so much the more widely they proclaimed it.
37 Ale czem on im bardziej zakazywał, tem oni to bardziej rozgłaszali, i nader się bardzo zdumiewali, mówiąc: Dobrze wszystko uczynił; bo czyni, iż głusi słyszą i niemi mówią.
They were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes even the deaf hear, and the mute speak!”
