Marka 15
1 A zaraz rano naradziwszy się przedniejsi kapłani z starszymi i z nauczonymi w Piśmie i ze wszystką radą, związali Jezusa, i wiedli go, i podali Piłatowi.
As soon as it was early morning, having already formed a plan, the chief priests with the elders and scribes, indeed the whole council, bound Jesus, led Him away and handed Him over to Pilate.
2 I pytał go Piłat: Tyżeś jest król Żydowski? A on mu odpowiadając rzekł: Ty powiadasz.
Pilate asked Him, “Are you the king of the Jews?” So in answer He said to him, “You stated a fact!”
3 I skarżyli nań przedniejsi kapłani o wiele rzeczy: (ale on nic nie odpowiedział.)
But the chief priests kept accusing Him of many things.
4 Tedy go zasię pytał Piłat, mówiąc: Nic nie odpowiadasz? Oto jako wiele rzeczy świadczą przeciwko tobie.
So Pilate asked Him again, saying: “Are you not going to answer? See how many things they are testifying against you!”
5 Ale Jezus przecię nic nie odpowiedział, tak iż się Piłat dziwował.
But Jesus still gave no answer, so that Pilate marveled.
6 A na święto zwykł im był wypuszczać więźnia jednego, o którego by prosili.
Now at the feast he would release to them one prisoner, whomever they would request.
7 I był jeden, którego zwano Barabbasz, w więzieniu z tymi, co rozruch czynią, którzy byli w rozruchu mężobójstwo popełnili.
Well there was one called Barabbas, who had been bound with his fellow insurrectionists, who in the insurrection had committed murder.
8 Tedy lud wystąpiwszy i głosem zawoławszy, począł prosić, żeby uczynił tak, jako im zawsze czynił,
Then the crowd began to call out and request that he do just as he always did for them.
9 Ale Piłat im odpowiedział, mówiąc: Chcecież, wypuszczę wam króla Żydowskiego?
So Pilate answered them, saying, “Do you want me to release to you the king of the Jews?”
10 (Wiedział bowiem, iż go z nienawiści wydali przedniejsi kapłani.)
(He knew that the chief priests had handed Him over because of envy.)
11 Ale przedniejsi kapłani podburzali lud, iżby im raczej Barabbasza wypuścił.
But the chief priests stirred up the crowd, so that he should release Barabbas to them instead.
12 A odpowiadając Piłat, rzekł im zasię: Cóż tedy chcecie, abym uczynił temu, którego nazywacie królem żydowskim?
Pilate answered and said to them again, “What then do you want me to do to him you call ‘king of the Jews’?”
13 A oni znowu zawołali: Ukrzyżuj go!
Again they shouted, “Crucify him!”
14 A Piłat rzekł do nich: I cóż wżdy złego uczynił? Ale oni tem bardziej wołali: Ukrzyżuj go!
But Pilate said to them, “But what evil did he do?” They just yelled all the louder, “Crucify him!”
15 A tak Piłat, chcąc ludowi dosyć uczynić, wypuścił im Barabbasza, a Jezusa ubiczowawszy, podał im, aby był ukrzyżowany.
So Pilate, wanting to gratify the crowd, released Barabbas to them, and Jesus, after a flogging, he handed over to be crucified.
16 Lecz żołnierze wprowadzili go do dworu, to jest do ratusza, i zwołali wszystkiej roty.
Then the soldiers led Him away into the courtyard (that is, the Praetorium) and assembled the whole garrison.
17 A oblekłszy go w szarłat, i uplótłszy koronę z ciernia, włożyli nań;
They clothed Him with purple, plaited a crown of thorns and put it on Him,
18 I poczęli go pozdrawiać, mówiąc: Bądź pozdrowiony, królu żydowski!
and began to ‘acclaim’ Him by saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
19 I bili głowę jego trzciną i plwali nań, a upadając na kolana, kłaniali mu się.
They kept hitting Him on the head with a rod and spitting on Him, and kneeling down they would ‘worship’ Him.
20 A gdy się z niego naśmiali, zewlekli go z szarłatu, i oblekli go w szaty jego własne, i wiedli go, aby go ukrzyżowali.
When they had ridiculed Him, they took the purple off Him and put His own clothes on Him. Then they led Him out to crucify Him.
21 Tedy przymusili mimo idącego niektórego Szymona Cyrenejczyka, (który szedł z pola, ) ojca Aleksandrowego i Rufowego, aby niósł krzyż jego.
A certain passer-by, Simon a Cyrenian (the father of Alexander and Rufus), coming in from the countryside, was compelled to carry His cross.
22 I przywiedli go na miejsce Golgota, co się wykłada: Miejsce trupich głów.
They brought Him to a place Golgotha, which is translated, ‘Place of a Skull’.
23 I dawali mu pić wino z myrrą; ale go on nie przyjął.
They offered Him wine mixed with myrrh to drink, but He did not take it.
24 A gdy go ukrzyżowali, rozdzielili szaty jego, miecąc o nie los, co by kto wziąć miał.
After crucifying Him, they divided His clothes by casting lots for them, to see who would take what.
25 A była trzecia godzina, gdy go ukrzyżowali.
It was the third hour when they crucified Him.
26 Był też napis winy jego napisany: Król żydowski.
The statement of His ‘crime’ that had been written was: THE KING OF THE JEWS.
27 Ukrzyżowali też z nim dwóch zbójców; jednego po prawicy, a drugiego po lewicy jego.
With Him they also crucified two bandits, one on His right and one on His left.
28 I wypełniło się Pismo, które mówi: Z złoczyńcami jest policzony.
So the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “And He was numbered with transgressors.”
29 A ci, którzy mimo chodzili, bluźnili go, chwiejąc głowami swemi a mówiąc: Ehej! który rozwalasz kościół, a we trzech dniach budujesz go!
Those who passed by kept ridiculing Him, wagging their heads and saying, “Hey! You who can destroy the temple and build it in three days,
30 Ratuj samego siebie, a zstąp z krzyża!
save yourself and come down from the cross!”
31 Także też i przedniejsi kapłani naśmiewając się, jedni do drugich z nauczonymi w Piśmie mówili: Innych ratował, a siebie samego ratować nie może;
Similarly, the chief priests, with the scribes, kept mocking among themselves saying: “He saved others; he can't save himself!
32 Niechże teraz Chrystus on król Izraelski zstąpi z krzyża, abyśmy ujrzeli i uwierzyli. Ci też, co z nim byli ukrzyżowani, urągali mu.
Let the Christ, the king of Israel, descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe him.” Those who were crucified with Him insulted Him as well.
33 A gdy było o godzinie szóstej, stała się ciemność po wszystkiej ziemi, aż do godziny dziewiątej.
Now when the sixth hour had come [noon], darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour.
34 A o godzinie dziewiątej zawołał Jezus głosem wielkim, mówiąc: Eloi! Eloi! Lamma sabachtani, co się wykłada: Boże mój! Boże mój! czemuś mię opuścił?
At the ninth hour Jesus called out strongly, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lima sabachthani?” which is translated, “O God, my God, why have You forsaken me?”
35 A niektórzy z tych, co tam stali, usłyszawszy mówili: Oto Elijasza woła.
When some of the bystanders heard it they said, “Listen, he's calling Elijah.”
36 Zatem bieżawszy jeden, napełnił gąbkę octem, a włożywszy ją na trzcinę, dawał mu pić, mówiąc: Zaniechajcie, patrzmy, jeźli przyjdzie Elijasz, zdejmować go.
Then someone ran, filled a sponge with wine vinegar, put it on a reed and started offering it to Him to drink, saying, “You let him be! ‘Let's see if Elijah is coming to take him down’!”
37 A Jezus zawoławszy głosem wielkim, oddał ducha.
Then Jesus gave a loud shout and breathed out His spirit;
38 I rozerwała się zasłona kościelna na dwoje, od wierzchu aż do dołu.
and the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.
39 Tedy widząc setnik, który stał przeciwko niemu, iż tak wołając oddał ducha, rzekł: Prawdziwie człowiek ten był Synem Bożym.
Well when the centurion, who was standing opposite Him, saw that He breathed out His spirit after giving such a loud shout, he said, “This man really was God's Son!”
40 Były też i niewiasty z daleka się przypatrując, między któremi była Maryja Magdalena, i Maryja, Jakóba małego i Jozesa matka, i Salome;
There were also women looking on from a distance, among whom were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the Less and of Joses, and Salome
41 Które gdy jeszcze były w Galilei, chodziły za nim, a posługowały mu; i wiele innych, które z nim były wstąpiły do Jeruzalemu.
—they used to follow Him and minister to Him when He was in Galilee—and many other women who had come up with Him to Jerusalem.
42 A gdy już był wieczór, (ponieważ był dzień przygotowania, ) który jest przed sabatem,
Now when evening had come, because it was Preparation Day (that is, the day before the Sabbath),
43 Przyszedłszy Józef z Arymatyi, poczesny radny pan, który też sam oczekiwał królestwa Bożego, śmiele wszedł do Piłata, i prosił o ciało Jezusowe.
Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent council member who also himself was waiting for the Kingdom of God, came and boldly went in to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.
44 A Piłat się dziwował, jeźliby już umarł; i zawoławszy setnika, pytał go, dawnoli umarł?
Well Pilate was surprised that He was already dead; and summoning the centurion he asked him when He had died.
45 A dowiedziawszy się od setnika, darował ciało Józefowi.
Upon the centurion's confirmation he granted the body to Joseph.
46 A on kupiwszy prześcieradło, zdjąwszy go, obwinął w prześcieradło, i położył go w grobie, który był wykowany z opoki, i przywalił kamień do drzwi grobowych.
Having bought linen, he took Him down, wrapped Him in the linen and laid Him in a tomb that had been cut out of rock; then he rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.
47 Ale Maryja Magdalena, i Maryja, matka Jozesowa, patrzały, kędy go położono.
Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses observed where He was placed.
