Kapłańska 26

1 Nie czyńcie sobie bałwanów, ani obrazu rytego; ani słupów stawiajcie sobie, ani kamienia w obraz wyrytego stawiajcie w ziemi waszej, abyście mu się kłaniali; bom Ja Pan, Bóg wasz.

I [am] the Lord your God: ye shall not make to yourselves gods made with hands, or graven; neither shall ye rear up a pillar for yourselves, neither shall ye set up a stone [for] an object in your land to worship it: I am the Lord your God.

2 Sabaty moje zachowywajcie, a świątnicę moję w uczciwości miejcie; Jam Pan.

Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuaries: I am the Lord.

3 Jeźli w ustawach moich chodzić będziecie, i przykazania moje chować i czynić będziecie:

If ye will walk in my ordinances, and keep my commandments, and do them,

4 Spuszczę wam deszcz czasu swego, i wyda ziemia urodzaj swój, i drzewa polne wydadzą owoc swój;

then will I give you the rain in its season, and the land shall produce its fruits, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

5 I trwać będzie młoćba do zbierania wina, a zbieranie wina trwać będzie do siewu; będziecie jeść chleb swój do sytości, i mieszkać będziecie bezpiecznie w ziemi swej.

And your threshing time shall overtake the vintage, and your vintage shall overtake your seed time; and ye shall eat your bread to the full; and ye shall dwell safely upon your land, and war shall not go through your land.

6 Bo dam pokój w ziemi, i będziecie spali, a nie będzie, kto by was przestraszył; wyplenię też złego zwierza z ziemi, a miecz nie przejdzie ziemi waszej.

And I will give peace in your land, and ye shall sleep, and none [shall] make you afraid; and I will destroy the evil beasts out of your land,

7 Owszem będziecie gonić nieprzyjacioły wasze, i upadną przed wami od miecza.

and ye shall pursue your enemies, and they shall fall before you with slaughter.

8 Pięć waszych będą gonić sto, a sto waszych dziesięć tysięcy gonić będą, i polegną nieprzyjaciele wasi przed wami od miecza.

And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase tens of thousands; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

9 Bo obrócę się do was, a rozkrzewię was, i rozmnożę was, i utwierdzę przymierze moje z wami.

And I will look upon you, and increase you, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.

10 I będziecie jedli z dawna zachowałe zboże, i stare, gdy nowe nastaną, wyprzątniecie.

And ye shall eat that which is old and very old, and bring forth the old to make way for the new.

11 I wystawię przybytek mój między wami, a nie uprzykrzy was sobie dusza moja.

And I will set my tabernacle among you, and my soul shall not abhor you;

12 I będę chodził między wami, a będę wam za Boga, a wy mnie będziecie za lud.

and I will walk among you, and be your God, and ye shall be my people.

13 Jam Pan, Bóg wasz, którym was wywiódł z ziemi Egipskiej, abyście im nie służyli; i połamałem łańcuchy jarzma waszego, abyście chodzili prosto.

I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, where ye were slaves; and I broke the band of your yoke, and brought you forth openly.

14 A jeźlibyście mię nie słuchali, i nie czynili wszystkich tych przykazań;

But if ye will not hearken to me, nor obey these my ordinances,

15 I jeźli ustawy moje wzgardzicie, a sądami moimi będzie się brzydziła dusza wasza, żebyście nie czynili wszystkich przykazań moich, i wzruszylibyście przymierze moje:

but disobey them, and your soul should loathe my judgments, so that ye should not keep all my commands, so as to break my covenant,

16 Ja też wam to uczynię: nawiedzę was strachem, suchotami i gorączką, które wam oczy popsują a boleścią napełnią dusze wasze, a siać będziecie próżno nasienie wasze, bo je zjedzą nieprzyjaciele wasi;

then will I do thus to you: I will even bring upon you perplexity and the itch, and the fever that causes your eyes to waste away, and [disease] that consumes your life; and ye shall sow your seeds in vain, and your enemies shall eat them.

17 I postawię twarz moję przeciwko wam, i porażeni będziecie od nieprzyjaciół waszych, i panować będą nad wami, którzy was mają w nienawiści; i będziecie uciekali, choć was nikt gonić nie będzie.

And I will set my face against you, and ye shall fall before your enemies, and they that hate you shall pursue you; and ye shall flee, no one pursuing you.

18 A jeźliż ani tak nie usłuchacie mię, przydam siedem kroć więcej karania dla grzechów waszych;

And if ye still refuse to hearken to me, then will I chasten you yet more even seven times for your sins.

19 I zetrę pychę mocy waszej, i uczynię niebo nad wami jako żelazo, a ziemię waszę jako miedź;

And I will break down the haughtiness of your pride; and I will make your heaven iron, and your earth as it were brass.

20 I wniwecz się obróci praca wasza; bo nie wyda ziemia wasza użytku swego, i drzewa ziemi nie wydadzą owocu swego.

And your strength shall be in vain; and your land shall not yield its seed, and the tree of your field shall not yield its fruit.

21 A jeźli chodzić będziecie, mnie się sprzeciwiając, a nie zechcecie mię słuchać, przydam kaźni waszych siedmiorako dla grzechów waszych.

And if after this ye should walk perversely, and not be willing to obey me, I will further bring upon you seven plagues according to your sins.

22 Bo puszczę na was zwierz polny, i osieroci was, i wyniszczy bydło wasze, i upleni was, i spustoszeją drogi wasze.

And I will send upon you the wild beasts of the land, and they shall devour you, and shall consume your cattle: and I will make you few in number, and your ways shall be desolate.

23 A jeźliż tem się nie nakarzecie, ale chodzić będziecie, mnie się sprzeciwiając:

And if hereupon ye are not corrected, but walk perversely towards me,

24 Ja też pójdę wam się sprzeciwiając, i bić was będę siedmiorako dla grzechów waszych;

I also will walk with you with a perverse spirit, and I also will smite you seven times for your sins.

25 I przywiodę na was miecz, który się sowicie zemści zgwałcenia przymierza; a gdy się zbieżycie do miast waszych, tedy puszczę powietrze morowe między was, a będziecie podani w ręce nieprzyjacielskie.

And I will bring upon you a sword avenging the cause of [my] covenant, and ye shall flee for refuge to your cities; and I will send out death against you, and ye shall be delivered into the hands of your enemies.

26 A gdy złamię podporę chleba waszego, będą piekły dziesięć niewiast chleb wasz w piecu jednym, i będą wam oddawać chleb wasz pod wagą, i będziecie jeść, a nie najecie się.

When I afflict you with famine of bread, then ten women shall bake your loaves in one oven, and they shall render your loaves by weight; and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.

27 A jeźli i przeto nie usłuchacie mię, ale chodzić będziecie, mnie się sprzeciwiając:

And if hereupon ye will not obey me, but walk perversely towards me,

28 Ja też pójdę w gniewie przeciwko wam; i Ja też karać was będę siedmiorako więcej dla grzechów waszych.

then will I walk with you with a froward mind, and I will chasten you seven-fold according to your sins.

29 I będziecie jeść ciało synów waszych, i ciało córek waszych jeść będziecie.

And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

30 I wygubię po górach kaplice wasze, a porozwalam słoneczne bałwany wasze; i składę trupy wasze na kloce obrzydłych bałwanów waszych, a będzie się wami brzydziła dusza moja.

And I will render your pillars desolate, and will utterly destroy your wooden [images] made with hands; and I will lay your carcases on the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall loathe you.

31 I podam miasta wasze na spustoszenie, a poburzę świątnice wasze, i nie przyjmę więcej wdzięcznej wonności waszej.

And I will lay your cities waste, and I will make your sanctuaries desolate, and I will not smell the savour of your sacrifices.

32 I spustoszę ziemię, że się nad nią zdumieją nieprzyjaciele wasi, mieszkając w niej.

And I will lay your land desolate, and your enemies who dwell in it shall wonder at it.

33 A was samych rozproszę między narody, i dobędę za wami miecza; a będzie ziemia wasza pusta, i miasta wasze zburzone.

And I will scatter you among the nations, and the sword shall come upon you and consume you; and your land shall be desolate, and your cities shall be desolate.

34 Tedy rada będzie ziemia odpocznieniu swemu po wszystkie dni spustoszenia swego; a wy będziecie w ziemi nieprzyjaciół waszych, tedy odpocznie ziemia, i rada będzie odpocznieniu swemu.

Then the land shall enjoy its sabbaths all the days of its desolation.

35 Przez wszystkie dni spustoszenia swego odpoczywać będzie; bo nie miała odpocznienia w sabaty wasze, gdyście wy mieszkali w niej.

And ye shall be in the land of your enemies; then the land shall keep its sabbaths, and the land shall enjoy its sabbaths all the days of its desolation: it shall keep sabbaths which it kept not among your sabbaths, when ye dwelt in it.

36 A którzy z was pozostaną, tedy przywiodę strach na serca ich, w ziemiach nieprzyjaciół ich, że je gonić będzie chrzęst liścia padającego; i będą uciekali jako przed mieczem, i padać będą, chociaż ich nikt gonić nie będzie.

And to those who are left of you I will bring bondage into their heart in the land of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them, and they shall flee as fleeing from war, and shall fall when none pursues them.

37 I padnie jeden na drugiego jako od miecza, choć ich nikt gonić nie będzie; ani się ostoicie przed nieprzyjacioły waszymi.

And brother shall disregard brother as in war, when none pursues; and ye shall not be able to withstand your enemies.

38 I poginiecie między narody, i pożre was ziemia nieprzyjaciół waszych.

And ye shall perish among the Gentiles, and the land of your enemies shall devour you.

39 A którzy z was zostaną, wywiędną dla nieprawości swojej w ziemi nieprzyjaciół swoich; także dla nieprawości ojców swych z nimi wywiędną.

And those who are left of you shall perish, because of their sins, and because of the sins of their fathers: in the land of their enemies shall they consume away.

40 Ale jeźli wyznają nieprawość swoję, i nieprawość ojców swych według przestępstwa swego, którem wystąpili przeciwko mnie, i według którego chodzili, sprzeciwiając mi się;

And they shall confess their sins, and the sins of their fathers, that they have transgressed and neglected me, and that they have walked perversely before me,

41 Żem też i Ja chodził sprzeciwiając się im, a iżem je wprowadził do ziemi nieprzyjaciół ich; jeźli, mówię, na ten czas poniży się serce ich nieobrzezane, i cierpliwie znosić będą kaźń za nieprawości swoje:

and I walked with them with a perverse mind; and I will destroy them in the land of their enemies: then shall their uncircumcised heart be ashamed, and then shall they acquiesce in [the punishment of] their sins.

42 Tedy ja też wspomnę na przymierze moje z Jakóbem, i na przymierze moje z Izaakiem, i na przymierze moje z Abrahamem wspomnę, i na tę ziemię wspomnę.

And I will remember the covenant of Jacob, and the covenant of Isaac, and the covenant of Abraam will I remember.

43 A ziemia będąc od nich uwolniona, rada będzie odpocznieniu swemu, gdy pusta będzie dla nich; a oni będą cierpliwie nosić karanie za nieprawość swą, przeto że sądy moje wzgardzili, i ustawami mojemi brzydziła się dusza ich.

And I will remember the land, and the land shall be left of them; then the land shall enjoy her sabbaths, when it is deserted through them: and they shall accept [the punishment of] their iniquities, because they neglected my judgments, and in their soul loathed my ordinances.

44 Wszakże dla tego i na ten czas, gdy będą w ziemi nieprzyjaciół swoich, nie odrzucę ich, ani ich tak sobie obrzydzę, żebym je wyniszczyć miał, i wzruszyć przymierze moje z nimi;

And yet not even thus, while they were in the land of their enemies, did I overlook them, nor did I loathe them so as to consume them, to break my covenant made with them; for I am the Lord their God.

45 Bom Ja Pan, Bóg ich. Ale wspomnę na nie dla przymierza uczynionego z przodkami ich; którem wywiódł z ziemi Egipskiej, przed oczyma poganów, abym im był za Boga, Ja Pan.

And I will remember their former covenant, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage before the nation, to be their God; I am the Lord.

46 Teć są ustawy i sądy i prawa, które postanowił Pan między sobą, i między syny Izraelskimi na górze Synaj przez Mojżesza.

These are my judgments and my ordinances, and the law which the Lord gave between himself and the children of Israel, in the mount Sina, by the hand of Moses.
