Księga Sędziów 4
1 Potem znowu synowie Izraelscy czynili złe przed oczyma Pańskiemi po śmierci Aodowej.
And they repeated [the] people of Israel to do the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and Ehud he had died.
2 I podał je Pan w ręce Jabina, króla Chananejskiego, który królował w Hasor, a hetman wojska jego był Sysara, a sam mieszkał w Haroset pogańskiem.
And he sold them Yahweh in [the] hand of Jabin [the] king of Canaan who he reigned in Hazor and [was] [the] commander of army his Sisera and he [was] dwelling in Harosheth Haggoyim.
3 Tedy wołali synowie Izraelscy do Pana; albowiem miał dziewięć set wozów żelaznych, a srodze uciskał syny Izraelskie przez dwadzieścia lat.
And they cried out [the] people of Israel to Yahweh for nine hundred chariot[s] of iron [belonged] to him and he he oppressed [the] people of Israel with force twenty year[s].
4 A Debora, niewiasta prorokini, żona Lapidotowa, sądziła Izraela na on czas.
And Deborah a woman a prophetess [the] wife of Lappidoth she [was] judging Israel at the time that.
5 I mieszkała pod palmą Debora między Rama i między Betel na górze Efraim, i chodzili do niej synowie Izraelscy na sąd.
And she [was] dwelling under [the] palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and between Beth-el in [the] hill country of Ephraim and they went up to her [the] people of Israel for judgment.
6 Która posławszy przyzwała Baraka, syna Abinoemowego, z Kades Neftalim, mówiąc do niego: Izali nie rozkazał Pan, Bóg Izraelski: idź, a zbierz lud na górze Tabor, a weźmij z sobą dziesięć tysięcy mężów z synów Neftalimowych, i z synów Zabulonowych?
And she sent and she summoned Barak [the] son of Abinoam from Kedesh Naphtali and she said to him ¿ not has he commanded - Yahweh [the] God of Israel go and you will march at [the] mountain of Tabor and you will take with you ten thousand man from [the] descendants of Naphtali and of [the] descendants of Zebulun.
7 I przywiodę do ciebie ku rzece Cyson Sysarę, hetmana wojska Jabinowego, i wozy jego, i mnóstwo jego, a podam go w ręce twoje.
And I will draw to you to [the] wadi of Kishon Sisera [the] commander of [the] army of Jabin and chariotry his and multitude his and I will give him in hand your.
8 I rzekł do niej Barak: Jeźli pójdziesz ze mną, pójdę, a jeźli nie pójdziesz ze mną, nie pójdę.
And he said to her Barak if you will go with me and I will go and if not you will go with me not I will go.
9 Która odpowiedziała: Jać w prawdzie pójdę z tobą, ale nie będzie z sławą twoją ta droga, którą ty pójdziesz; albowiem w rękę niewieścią poda Pan Sysarę. A tak wstawszy Debora, szła z Barakiem do Kades.
And she said certainly I will go with you nevertheless for not it will be honor your on the way which you [are] going for in [the] hand of a woman he will sell Yahweh Sisera and she rose Deborah (and she went *L(abh)*) with Barak Kedesh towards.
10 Zebrał tedy Barak Zabulona i Neftalima do Kades, a wywiódł z sobą dziesięć tysięcy mężów, z którym też szła i Debora.
And he summoned Barak Zebulun and Naphtali Kedesh towards and it went up at feet his ten thousand man and she went up with him Deborah.

And Heber the Kenite [was] separate from [the] Kenite[s] from [the] descendants of Hobab [the] father-in-law of Moses and he had pitched tent his to [the] great tree (in Zaanannim *Q(K)*) which [is] with Kedesh.
12 I powiedziano Sysarze, iż wyszedł Barak, syn Abinoemów na górę Tabor.
And people told to Sisera that he had gone up Barak [the] son of Abinoam [the] mountain of Tabor.
13 Przetoż zebrał Sysara wszystkie wozy swoje, dziewięć set wozów żelaznych, i wszystek lud, który miał ze sobą od Haroset pogańskiego aż do rzeki Cyson.
And he summoned Sisera all chariotry his nine hundred chariot[s] of iron and all the people which [was] with him from Harosheth Haggoyim to [the] wadi of Kishon.
14 Tedy rzekła Debora do Baraka: Wstań; albowiem tenci jest dzień, w który podał Pan Sysarę w ręce twoje; izali Pan nie idzie przed tobą? A tak zszedł Barak z góry Tabor, a dziesięć tysięcy mężów za nim.
And she said Deborah to Barak arise for this [is] the day which he has given Yahweh Sisera in hand your ¿ not Yahweh has he gone out before you and he went down Barak from [the] mountain of Tabor and ten thousand man [were] after him.
15 I poraził Pan Sysarę, i wszystkie wozy, i wszystko wojsko jego ostrzem miecza przed Barakiem, a skoczywszy Sysara z wozu, uciekał pieszo.
And he routed Yahweh Sisera and all the chariotry and all the army to [the] mouth of [the] sword before Barak and he went down Sisera from on the chariot and he fled on feet his.
16 Ale Barak gonił wozy i wojsko aż do Haroset pogańskiego; i poległo wszystko wojsko Sysarowe od ostrza miecza, tak iż z nich i jeden nie został.
And Barak he pursued after the chariotry and after the army to Harosheth Haggoyim and it fell all [the] army of Sisera to [the] mouth of [the] sword not it was left up to one.
17 A Sysara uciekł pieszo do namiotu Jaeli, żony Hebera Cynejczyka; albowiem był pokój między Jabinem, królem Hasor, i między domem Hebera Cynejczyka.
And Sisera he fled on feet his to [the] tent of Jael ([the] wife of *L(abh)*) Heber the Kenite for peace [was] between Jabin [the] king of Hazor and between [the] house of Heber the Kenite.
18 A wyszedłszy Jael przeciwko Sysarze, rzekła do niego: Skłoń się panie mój, skłoń się do mnie, nie bój się; i skłonił się do niej do namiotu, i przykryła go kocem.
And she went out Jael to meet Sisera and she said to him turn aside! O lord my turn aside! to me may not you be afraid and he turned aside to her the tent towards and she covered him with the covering.
19 Tedy rzekł do niej: Daj mi proszę, napić się trochę wody, bom upragnął; a ona otworzywszy łagiew mleka, dała mu się napić, i przykryła go.
And he said to her give to drink me please a little of water for I am thirsty and she opened [the] skin-bottle of milk and she gave a drink him and she covered him.
20 I rzekł do niej: Stój we drzwiach u namiotu; a jeźliby kto przyszedł, i pytał cię, mówiąc: Jestże tu kto? tedy rzeczesz: Nie masz.
And he said to her stand [the] opening of the tent and it will be if anyone he will come and he will ask you and he will say ¿ [is] there here anyone and you will say no.
21 Potem wzięła Jael, żona Heberowa, gwóźdź od namiotu, wzięła też i młot w rękę swą, a wszedłszy do niego po cichu, przebiła gwoździem skroń jego aż utknął w ziemi, (bo był twardo usnął, będąc spracowanym, ) i umarł.
And she took Jael [the] wife of Heber [the] peg of the tent and she put the hammer in hand her and she went to him in secrecy and she drove the peg in temple his and it went down in the ground and he [was] sleeping and he was weary and he died.
22 A oto, Barak gonił Sysarę, i wyszła Jael przeciwko niemu, i rzekła mu: Pójdź, a ukażęć męża, którego szukasz. I wyszedł do niej, a oto Sysara leżał umarły, a gwóźdź w skroni jego.
And there! Barak [was] pursuing Sisera and she went out Jael to meet him and she said to him come and I will show you the man whom you [are] seeking and he went to her and there! Sisera [was] lying dead and the peg [was] in temple his.
23 A tak poniżył Bóg dnia onego Jabina, króla Chananejskiego, przed syny Izraelskimi.
And he subdued God on the day that Jabin [the] king of Canaan before [the] people of Israel.
24 I nacierała ręka synów Izraelskich tem bardziej, a ciężka była Jabinowi, królowi Chananejskiemu, aż zgładzili tegoż Jabina, króla Chananejskiego.
And it went [the] hand of [the] people of Israel going and hard on Jabin [the] king of Canaan until that they cut off Jabin [the] king of Canaan.
