Izajasza 5
1 Zaśpiewam teraz miłemu memu piosnkę miłego mego o winnicy jego. Winnicę ma miły mój na pagórku urodzajnym;
Let me sing for my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved had a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:
2 Którą ogrodził, i wybrał z niej kamienie, a nasadził ją macicami wybornemi, i zbudował wieże w pośrodku niej, także i prasę postawił w niej, a czekał, aby wydała grona; ale ona zrodziła płonne wino.
and he made a trench about it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also hewed out a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.
3 A tak, obywatele Jeruzalemscy i mężowie Judzcy! proszę, rozsądźcie teraz między mną i między winnicą moją.
And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.
4 Cóż dalej czynić było winnicy mojej, czegobym jej nie uczynił? Gdym rzekał, aby wydała grona, czemuż zrodziła płonne wino?
What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?
5 A przetoż oznajmię wam, co ja uczynię winnicy mojej: Rozbiorę płot jej, a będzie spustoszona; rozwalę ogrodzenie jej, a będzie podeptana.
And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; I will break down the fence thereof, and it shall be trodden down:
6 I uczynię ją pustą; nie będzie obrzezywana, ani okopywana, ale porośnie ostem i cierniem; obłokom też przykażę, aby na nią więcej dżdżu nie spuszczały.
and I will lay it waste; it shall not be pruned nor hoed; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.
7 Winnica zaiste Pana zastępów jest dom Izraelski, a mąż Judzki szczepieniem jego rozkosznem. Oczekiwał sądu, a oto uciśnienie; oczekiwał sprawiedliwości, a oto krzyk.
For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.
8 Biada wam, którzy przyłączacie dom do domu, a rolę do roli przyczyniacie, tak, że miejsca innym nie staje, jakobyście tylko sami mieszkać mieli na ziemi!
Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no room, and ye be made to dwell alone in the midst of the land!
9 Pan zastępów rzekł w uszy moje: Zaiste wiele domów spustoszeje, a wielkie i piękne domy będą bez obywatela.
In mine ears [saith] the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.
10 Do tego dziesięć stajan winnicy przyniosą jednę baryłę wina, a jeden chomer nasienia wyda efa.
For ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and a homer of seed shall yield [but] an ephah.
11 Biada tym, którzy rano wstawając chodzą za pijaństwem, a trwają na niem do wieczora, aż ich wino rozpali!
Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that tarry late into the night, till wine inflame them!
12 A cytra, i lutnia, bęben i piszczałka, i wino bywa na biesiadach ich; ale na sprawy Pańskie nie patrzą, a na uczynki rąk jego nie oglądają się.
And the harp and the lute, the tabret and the pipe, and wine, are [in] their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither have they considered the operation of his hands.
13 Przetoż w niewolę pójdzie lud mój, iż nie ma umiejętności; a zacni jego będą głodnymi, i pospólstwo jego wyschnie od pragnienia.
Therefore my people are gone into captivity, for lack of knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude are parched with thirst.
14 Dlatego rozszerzyło piekło gardło swoje, a rozdarło nad miarę paszczękę swoję, i zstąpią do niego szlachta i pospólstwo jego, i zgiełk jego, i ci, którzy się weselą w niem. (Sheol h7585)
Therefore hell hath enlarged her desire, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth among them, descend [into it]. (Sheol h7585)
15 A tak będzie nachylony człowiek, a zacny mąż poniżony będzie, i oczy wyniosłych zniżone będą.
And the mean man is bowed down, and the great man is humbled, and the eyes of the lofty are humbled:
16 Ale Pan zastępów wywyższony będzie w sądzie, a Bóg święty ukaże się świętym w sprawiedliwości.
but the LORD of hosts is exalted in judgment, and God the Holy One is sanctified in righteousness.
17 I będą się paść baranki według zwyczaju swego, a przychodniowie pustyń bogaczów pożywać będą.
Then shall the lambs feed as in their pasture, and the waste places of the fat ones shall wanderers eat.
18 Biada tym, którzy ciągną nieprawość powrozami marności, a grzech jako powrozem wozowym!
Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:
19 Którzy mówią: Niech się pospieszy, a niechaj nie omieszkuje sprawa jego, abyśmy ją widzieli; niech się przybliży i przyjdzie rada świętego Izraelskiego, żebyśmy się dowiedzieli.
that say, Let him make speed, let him hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!
20 Biada tym, którzy nazywają złe dobrem a dobre złem; którzy pokładają ciemność za świetłość, a światłość za ciemność; którzy pokładają gorzkość za słodkość, a słodkość za gorzkość!
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21 Biada tym, którzy się sobie zdadzą być mądrymi, a sami u siebie roztropnymi!
Woe unto them that are wise their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
22 Biada tym, którzy są mocni na picie wina, a mężom dużym ku nalewaniu napoju mocnego!
Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
23 Którzy usprawiedliwiają niezbożnego za podarki, a sprawiedliwość sprawiedliwych odejmują od nich!
which justify the wicked for a reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
24 Przetoż jako płomień ogniowy pożera parzdzieże, i jako płomień plewy trawi: tak korzeń ich będzie jako zgnilizna, a kwiat ich jako proch ku górze pójdzie; albowiem odrzucili zakon Pana zastępów, a wyrokiem świętego Izraelskiego pogardzili.
Therefore as the tongue of fire devoureth the stubble, and as the dry grass sinketh down in the flame, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have rejected the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
25 Dlatego się zapaliła popędliwość Pańska przeciw ludowi swemu, a wyciągnąwszy nań rękę swą poraził go, tak że się zatrząsnęły góry, i były trupy ich jako gnój po ulicach. W tem jednak wszystkiem nie odwróciła się zapalczywość jego, ale jeszcze ręk a jego jest wyciągniona.
Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them, and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were as refuse in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
26 Bo podniesie chorągiew do narodu dalekiego, a zaświśnie nań od kończyn ziemi, a oto rychło i prędko przyjdzie.
And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss for them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:
27 Żadnego spracowanego i upadającego nie będzie między nimi; nie będzie drzemiącego ani śpiącego, ani się rozepnie pas na biodrach jego, ani się rozerwie rzemyk u trzewików jego.
None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:
28 Strzały jego ostre, i wszystkie łuki jego naciągnione; kopyta koni jego jako krzemień poczytane będą, a koła jego jako burza.
whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent; their horses’ hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:
29 Ryk jego jako lwi; będzie ryczał jako szczenięta lwie; będzie zgrzytał, i porwie łup, i uciecze z nim, a nie będzie ktoby go wydarł.
their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and carry it away safe, and there shall be none to deliver.
30 I zaszumi nad nim dnia onego jako szum morski. Tedy spojrzymy na ziemię, a oto ciemność i ucisk; bo i światło zaćmi się przy wytraceniu jego.
And they shall roar against them in that day like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness [and] distress, and the light is darkened in the clouds thereof.
