1 Biada pysznej koronie, pijanicom z Efraima, i kwiatowi opadłemu z ozdoby sławy swojej! Biada tym, którzy rządzą doliną bardzo urodzajną, i znikczemniałym od wina!
Woe to the crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim, and to the fading flower of his glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley of those who are overcome with wine!
2 Oto możny i silny Pański będąc jako nawałność gradu, jako wicher wywracający, jako bystrość wód gwałtownej powodzi uderzy ją o ziemię ręką swą.

29 I toć od Pana zastępów wyszło, który jest dziwny w radzie, a wielmożny w rzeczy samej.
This also comes forth from Jehovah of hosts, who is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom.
