1 A tak jechał Izrael ze wszystkiem, co miał, a przyjechawszy do Beerseby, ofiarował ofiary Bogu ojca swego Izaaka.

And God sayde vnto Israel in a vision by nyghte and called vnto him: Iacob Iacob. And he answered: here am I.
3 I rzekł: Jam jest Bóg, Bóg ojca twojego; nie bój się zstąpić do Egiptu, bo cię tam w naród wielki rozmnożę.
And he sayde: I am that mightie God of thy father feare not to goo downe in to Egipte. For I will make of the there a great people.
4 Ja zstąpię z tobą do Egiptu, i Ja cię stamtąd także zasię wywiodę, a Józef położy rękę swoję na oczy twoje.
I will go downe with ye in to Egipte and I will also bringe the vp agayne and Ioseph shall put his hand apon thine eyes.
5 I powstał Jakób z Beerseby; i wzięli synowie Izraelowi Jakóba ojca swego, i dziatki swe, i żony swe na wozy, które był posłał Farao, aby go przywieziono.
And Iacob rose vp from Berseba. And ye sonnes of Israel I caried Iacob their father ad their childern and their wyues in the charettes which Pharao had sent to carie him.
6 Pobrali też bydła swe, i majętność swoję, której byli nabyli w ziemi Chananejskiej, i przyjechali do Egiptu, Jakób i wszystka rodzina jego z nim;

29 A zaprzągłszy Józef wóz swój, wyjechał przeciw Izraelowi, ojcu swemu, do Gosen; a ujrzawszy go ( Jakób ) padł na szyję jego, i płakał na szyi jego chwilę.
And Ioseph made redie his charett and went agaynst Israell his father vnto Gosan ad presented him selfe vnto him and fell on his necke and wepte vpon his necke a goode whyle.
30 Tedy rzekł Izrael do Józefa: Niechże już umrę, gdym ujrzał oblicze twoje, ponieważeś ty jeszcze żyw.
And Israel sayd vnto Ioseph: Now I am cotet to dye in somoch I haue sene the that thou art yet alyue.
31 Zatem rzekł Józef do braci swej i do domu ojca swego: Pojadę, a opowiem Faraonowi, i rzekę mu: Bracia moi i dom ojca mego, którzy byli w ziemi Chananejskiej, przyjechali do mnie;
And Ioseph sayde vnto his brethre and vnto his fathers house: I will goo and shewe Pharao and tell him: that my brethern and my fathers housse which were in the lade of Canaan are come vnto me
32 A ci mężowie są pasterze trzód, bo się bawili chowaniem bydła; przeto owce swoje, i woły swoje, i wszystko, co mieli, przywiedli.

33 A tak gdy was przyzowie Farao, i spyta: Czem się bawicie?
