Ezechiela 35
1 I stało się słowo Pańskie do mnie, mówiąc:
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Synu człowieczy! obróć twarz swoję przeciwko górze Seir, a prorokuj przeciwko niej,
Son of man, set thy face against the mountain of Se'ir, and prophecy against it,
3 I mów do niej: Tak mówi panujący Pan: Otom Ja przeciwko tobie, góro Seir! a wyciągnę rękę moję na cię, i podam cię na wielkie spustoszenie.
And say unto it, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will be against thee, O mountain of Se'ir, and I will stretch out my hand over thee, and I will render thee desolate and wasted.
4 Miasta twoje w spustoszenie obrócę, że będziesz spustoszona, i dowiesz się, żem Ja Pan.
Thy cities will I lay in ruins, and thou thyself shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.
5 Przeto, iż wieczną nieprzyjaźń wiedziesz, i rozpraszasz synów Izraelskich ostrzem miecza czasu utrapienia ich, czasu wykonywania kaźni ich;
Because thou hast had an undying hatred, and didst surrender the children of Israel to the power of the sword, at the time of their calamity, at the time of the iniquity of the end:
6 Dlatego, jako żyję Ja, mówi panujący pan, że cię podam na zabicie, a krew cię ścigać będzie; ponieważ krwi rozlewania w nienawiści nie masz, przetoż cię krew ścigać będzie.
Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord Eternal, I will surely let thy blood flow, and blood shall pursue thee; since thou didst not hate blood-shedding, so shall blood pursue thee.
7 I obrócę górę Seir w wielkie spustoszenie, a wygubię z niej przechodzącego, i wracającego się;
Thus will I change the mountain of Se'ir into a desolate land and a waste, and I will cut off from it him that travelleth forward and backward.
8 I napełnię góry jej pobitymi jej; na pagórkach twoich, i na dolinach twoich, i przy wszystkich strumieniach twoich pobici mieczem polegną na nich;
And I will fill his mountains with his slain: as regardeth thy hills, and thy valleys, and all thy ravines, in them shall fall those that are slain by the sword.
9 Na pustynie wieczne podam cię, i w miastach twoich mieszkać nie będą; a dowiecie się, żem Ja Pan.
Into perpetual desolations will I change thee, and thy cities shall not be restored: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
10 Przetoż iż mówisz: Te dwa narody, i te dwie ziemie moje będą a posiądziemy tę, w której Pan mieszkał;
Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall indeed be mine, and we will take possession thereof; whereas the Lord was there:
11 Dlategoż, jako żyję Ja, mówi panujący Pan, że uczynię według gniewu twego i według zawiści twojej, którąś czyniła w nienawiści swej przeciwko nim; i będę poznany od nich, gdy cię sądzić będę;
Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will even do according to thy anger, and according to thy envy which thou didst use out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I judge thee.
12 I dowiesz się, żem Ja Pan słyszał wszystkie urągania twoje, któreś wyrzekła przeciw górom Izraelskim, mówiąc: Spustoszone są, a nam podane są ku pożarciu.
And thou shalt know that I am the Lord: I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given unto us to consume them.
13 Boście się przeciwko mnie wynosili usty waszemi, a rozmnożyliście słowa swoje przeciwko mnie, com Ja słyszał.
And ye boasted greatly against me with your mouth, and have multiplied against me your words: I have indeed heard them.
14 Tak mówi panujący Pan: Jako się ta wszystka ziemia weseli, tak cię obrócę w pustnię.
Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.
15 Jako się ty weselisz nad dziedzictwem domu Izraelskiego, przeto, że jest spustoszone, tak uczynię i tobie; będziesz spustoszona, o góro Seir! a zgoła wszystka ziemia Edomska; i dowiedzą się żem Ja Pan.
As thou didst rejoice over the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was made desolate: so will I do unto thee; desolate shalt thou be, O mountain of Se'ir, and all Idumea—altogether; and they shall know that I am the Lord.
